When I checked in, the front desk noticed it was my birthday month. Even though my birthday had passed two weeks prior, they still wished me a happy birthday and gave me a birthday gift for the month, which was incredibly thoughtful. My stay was just before Christmas, and the hotel had some lovely Christmas decorations that really added to the festive atmosphere. Although the hotel exterior is quite ordinary, with only a small double door entrance, the front desk staff and the room itself left a lasting impression. I'll definitely be staying here again.

I had a pleasant and relaxing stay at Chyuan Du Spring Resort. The room was comfortable and spacious, with good amenities and a cozy layout. I especially appreciated the private hot spring bath in the room, which allowed me to enjoy the experience in privacy. Housekeeping was efficient and the room was kept tidy throughout my stay. The staff were friendly, polite, and always ready to assist with any requests. The Doorman was very helpful and recommended places for us to visit. Their warm hospitality made the stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free. Overall, Chyuan Du Spring Resort is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing hot spring getaway. I would recommend it to couples, families, or anyone who wants to escape the city and enjoy a peaceful retreat.

It was really nice having a private hot spring in the room, and the quality of the spring water was excellent. The surrounding environment was also lovely. Today's temperature was around 20 degrees Celsius, so soaking in the hot spring warmed me up perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. I was surprised by how many rooms there were in the three-story building. I thought it might get crowded with only one elevator, but there was no significant congestion during breakfast or check-out times. Downstairs, there's a Carrefour, a French supermarket chain, where you can find pretty much anything you need. They even sold fresh ********* beer with a surprisingly short 18-day shelf life. Next to it, there's a Starbucks. There are also plenty of restaurants in the vicinity. I'd definitely like to come back again.

Breakfast & service was good. Location is convenient The bathtub was dirty - look like they never clean them! Carpet was smelly. Pillow was too high.

The location is excellent. Walkable distance to some public hot springs, thermal valley, hot spring museum etc etc. The decoration is outdated but the stay is comfortable. Breakfast taste good too despite it is simple.

Location is next to MRT XinBeiTou station (5 minutes walk), which is very convenient. The service is also great. However, the facility is a little bit old.

The building is dated. There was no window in the room, although I specifically booked a room with the window. It smells dump and moldy. When we went out in the evening for a quick snack, grandpa on reception insisted on us giving him the key for the safekeeping. Check in is at 19.00 pm, yet they call you almost 20 minutes prior to 12.00 to let you know it’s time to check out.

Since each room in the hotel provides a unique white sulfur hot spring for guests to soak in, the white sulfur hot spring is a weakly acidic spring, so there will be a slight hot spring smell in the room, not a musty smell, please rest assured to stay here. Regarding the part about the counter staff keeping the keys, this is for the safety of travelers while they are away. However, if it causes any inconvenience, we are deeply sorry and will review the service details again to provide a more considerate and respectful way of meeting travelers' needs. We attach great importance to the opinions of every traveler and will continue to work hard to improve the quality of facilities and services in the future. The hotel is situated conveniently near the MRT area. close vicinity to 24 hr shops, 2 supermarkets for your in room drinking refreshemtn delights. the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast is much improved lately and for a hotel this size it is commendable. most of the carpets are refurbished and bed is comfy. laundry room has a single dryer and washing machine so plan well if you wanna do some.loght washing. You have a wide selection of local food just below the hotel and across the street

Old hotel located near 新北投捷运站. Dated decor with older furnishings but clean. Hotel buffet breakfast offers simple fares, with not much choice for international guests. Spa water is hot but the shower is underpowered and gives lukewarm water temperature. Central air-conditioning is loud at high wind setting. Soundproofing in room is good as can hardly hear the traffic along the road in front of hotel.

Excellent location. Staff very friendly and courteous. Breakfast ok but coffee a bit disappointed. Cleanliness is ok but found a mosquito in the room.No public onsen.

It is an old hotel. Yet, after the recent refurbishment, the conditions have been upgraded significantly. The bath keeps its old-fashioned style, which makes the bathing experience resonate with the local history, In a positive way. The service is very good. The water is strong; the hot spring is milky white. Some may complain about the smell in the rooms; however it is normal from the odor of the real local hot spring. The sound proof is, admittedly, not that good but acceptable. The thing I would feel negative is their breakfast. But it is elder and vegetarian friendly. And, come on, see the price and others. There is no roomfor complaint.
