Love the location nearby exit 3 subway. Subway Lift exit walk straight 2 minutes reach hotel. Our stay quite disappointed as this hotel next door having construction and never indicate clearly superior room type will be direct facing construction side! When we reach hotel notice this ask for change room face other side but the staff just keep repeat like a robot answer all this room type will be direct facing construction side. Staff mention no worry room is sound proof and construction will only start at 9 am. ******** !! I pay for 4 days 3 night but every morning 8am noise bing bing pong pong auto alarm wake us up. What a so call 4 star hotel experience!! Design for shower door super inconvenient as is clear glass door if someone shower then others cannot use!! I move to Hotel Gracery for another 3 nights stay this hotel is way more better and also very near to subway exit 1.

This is a 4-star hotel with a distinctly Japanese aesthetic, but honestly, it felt far more luxurious and comfortable than many 5-stars I've stayed in. It's elegant, highly functional, and very modern. The service was spectacular from the moment we checked in. Every single time we walked through the lobby, the staff greeted us with genuine warmth and attention – truly top-notch hospitality. Our room was just the right size. We had two separate beds – not overly massive, but more than sufficient. I'm 1.87m (about 6'1"), and I was perfectly comfortable in mine. The mattress was comfy, the two pillows were great, and the duvet was cozy and warm. Instead of a closed wardrobe, there's a small but practical hanging rail for clothes right next to a sink with a mirror. The shower itself was comfortable, though if I had to give one tiny critique, the water pressure wasn't exceptionally strong. However, that's easily forgiven because the quality of the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash was absolutely spectacular – genuinely premium, top-tier stuff, easily some of the best I've ever found in a hotel, beating out most 5-star properties I've visited. The toilet is in its own separate compartment and features a Japanese bidet, which works flawlessly and is a very much-appreciated touch. The location is simply perfect. We didn't book breakfast at the hotel because there's a Mister Brown Café – a great ********* coffee chain – literally right next door. It was ideal for grabbing a latte with a cinnamon roll, croissant, or something more brunch-style. On top of that, there's an MRT (metro) station exit right at the hotel's doorstep on the Blue Line, making getting around the city incredibly convenient. To sum it up, I can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel. I was extremely comfortable here, and the location couldn't be better. I would absolutely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Taipei – and I'm already looking forward to it.

Tea offered at room is good. Staff is professional and helpful. Lounge currently under renovation, the temporary lounge at 17/F is a bit small yet free tea and coffee are still offered. Overall is good.

This is a very good hotel, I would highly recommend it. It's conveniently located, the accommodations are great, it has an onsen, the food is delicious, and the staff are excellent and provide great service. I was very impressed.

The hotel is quite near the metro, so it is convenient. The room is so clean. It is a Japanese style for this hotel. There is a public bath as well.

Our stay at MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao was excellent from start to finish. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to the Taipei Metro and bus services, making it a perfect base for exploring Taipei. The room was clean, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with a cozy bed that made it easy to rest after a full day out. As always, one of the highlights was the public bath — a relaxing experience that added so much to the stay. We also loved the lounge area with complimentary beverages, which was a nice touch for unwinding during the day. Most importantly, the staff were consistently courteous, warm, and very helpful, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. A wonderful stay overall, and we can’t wait to be back again.

Very nice! The hot spring really helps cure the tireness. It is already my fifth time staying here for biz trip. The umiversity building opposite us also very special.

Very ideal location right next to the metro and bus stations. The room size is great and the bonus is the public bath area. Although it’s very busy after dinner since everyone coming back from their day trip wants to relax in the hot water. The service was great from the time we step in till we left for the trip. Theres a construction site next to our room but there’s no noise at all. Will be back next time when visiting Taiwan.
