Ulasan MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao

recently stayed at MGH Mitsui Garden Hotel Taipei Zhongxiao and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and convenient everything was. As two older adults, we appreciated how easy it was to get around—the hotel is literally next to the MRT, so moving between sights, cafes, and shopping areas was effortless without needing long walks. The hotel has a calm, modern Japanese feel that made us feel relaxed the moment we stepped in. Our room was clean, well-designed, and quiet, with a very comfortable bed that gave us good rest throughout the trip. The bathroom layout was practical and safe, and we liked that everything was thoughtfully arranged. The staff were consistently polite, friendly, and patient, and they helped us with directions and dining suggestions whenever we asked. We also enjoyed the public bath in the evenings—very soothing for tired legs after a full day out. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay with excellent value. Take a look at the breakfast spread. We would happily return to MGH Mitsui Garden Taipei Zhongxiao on our next visit to Taipei.

E had a wonderful stay at MGH, the hotel staff are super friendly, rooms are super big and nice views, clean, modern. We will definitely come back again

## Hygiene: There were water stains on the sink, and dust and hair in some corners. ## Facilities: The room was smaller than expected and didn't have a private bathroom. The sink was in the hallway, giving it a budget hotel feel. The hotel also lacks a gym. Basic toiletries like toothpaste and toothbrushes weren't provided in the room. Although the law states they can't "actively" provide them, they weren't available at the front desk either, so I had to buy them outside. The bedside table was tiny, about the size of a 16-inch laptop. Why couldn't they provide a larger one? ## Environment: I'd read reviews mentioning expansive views, but unfortunately, I was assigned a low-floor room facing Zhongxiao East Road, with the distant view blocked by buildings across the street. The upside is that it's very close to the MRT station, just a two or three-minute walk. ## Service: Cleaning service isn't all-day; the latest they clean is 4 PM. Towels and water can be delivered at night. The staff were all friendly.

Hotel is fairly new, common area and bathroom also new. Just like any other mitsui garden, layout and bed, toiletries, common bath house are consistent. However, this hotel has no gym, only restaurant is very small. It has a free common area level 2 for coffee and chill. I didn’t appreciate the cleanliness was not up to normal Japanese standard. We had a dirty cup inside the room and the floor was super dirty (you can see it from our disposable slippers’ back) - not very comforting when I am bringing my two year old here and paying for mitsui garden price. Also, if you order food and delivery, they won’t deliver to your door and they don’t ring to notify your food has arrived.

The hotel is good and very convenient for any traveller. They are thoughtful too.less than a min walk to train station

The location is right at the subway exit, making transportation very convenient. The rooftop hot tub is clean, and the room hygiene is also good. However, the sound insulation in the rooms is a bit poor; you can hear the neighbors and sometimes noise from upstairs. Overall, the guests staying here are well-behaved. The breakfast is quite rich.

Hotel just next to MRT station. Room is spacious and clean.  There’s  lounge where you can get a coffee and relax.

The hotel is nice and rooms are decent. Last minute booking so it is quite expensive but good enough. I didn’t have breakfast there though

The room was clean and tidy, bright and comfortable! Breakfast was Japanese style, and the view from the high floor was great! It's right next to the subway station, so getting around is very convenient. I'll definitely book this hotel again next time.

Wonderful Hotel. We loved the Mr Brown Coffee shop near it too. Good location, near a MTR too.

The location is excellent, right next to Exit 3 of Zhongxiao Xinsheng Station—super convenient! The hotel rooms are spacious and clean. A big plus is their onsen, which we truly enjoyed! Highly recommend this hotel for a wonderful stay.

Great location with convenient transportation. The room was clean and the air conditioning was strong.

My initial booking was for a standard queen bed room, I found out at the hotel that the bed was facing away from the - rather small - window which was above the headboard. Worst of all, large construction site right outside, literally a couple of yards away, with continuous noise. Had to pay 1000ntd for an upgrade... The new room was very nice, felt quite luxurious so quite satisfied there but the initial impression was rather a disappointment.
