Hotel berhampiran Tsing Long Temple, Taipei

There are two buildings and the one on Google is the one for more than one person's rooms. I wish it was an information I got before arriving so I didn't have to walk around, even though both are really close by. The other building only has a Chinese name on Google map - 西門星辰精典大飯店. Apart from that, my stay was very good! Room is nice, I didn't use the TV so I don't know about its quality. Aircon works wonder and the shower's pressure is top tier ! 🤣 We also got free hot drinks and I do love my hot chocolate from time to time. 😌 Window is useless though, it feels like you don't have one. Location is perfect. Not too far from the subway and some bus stops.

Booked this hotel for our last night in Taipei. It is strategically located across Ximending. It is a self-check in but there are staffs who will be assisting you. During our stay, there are bunch of teenagers who were very noisy, we can hear the noises from our room. Nevertheless, the hotel is good as well as with the breakfast buffet where there are a lot of food choices.

Biliknya sangat kecil, katilnya sangat kotor 🥲🥲 malam pertama saya berbaring di atas katil selama kira-kira 15 minit dan mengalami reaksi gatal-gatal di seluruh badan saya (disahkan ia kotor, kulit meniskus sensitif, kali pertama saya menghadapi kes seperti ini. ). Tidak, ada balkoni, tingkap kecil agak tersumbat. Apabila saya mengalami reaksi alahan dan tidak tahan, saya turun ke meja depan dan meminta untuk menukar bilik. Maaf, saya perlu menunggu sehingga selepas jam 3:30 petang untuk mendaftar masuk. Bilik baharu itu lebih kecil daripada bilik lama, dan bahagian dalamannya kelihatan membosankan. Bilik yang saya tempah juga murah, jumlah 4H3D adalah 7735twd ~ 6 juta, 2 juta setiap malam... tetapi biliknya kecil 🥲🥲 jika saya pergi ke Daif, saya harus mengelak dari hotel ini. Tandas juga bersih dan mempunyai tab mandi 🛁 Lokasi: 5' ~ 350m berjalan kaki ke Ximending, 400m ~ 10' berjalan kaki dari stesen MRT Beimen dan Ximen. Di seberang jalan terdapat penyewaan basikal awam

Location wise - this one is just near Taipei Main Station and Ximen Station. Very convenient. The room is small and clean, you get what you paid for. Bathroom has hot/cold shower and bidet (Japanese style) which is really plus points. Only letdown of this trip / stay is the rude and impolite hotel front desk guy. He needs major customer service training. How he responded to me when I inquired if i can leave my luggage while waiting for check in was very appalling. It seems he hates his job or customers on how he responds. His behavior is a clear reflection of the hotel. Definitely i will go back here due to location and convenience but hoping not to encounter the rude front desk guy.

Fantastic stay. Superb location. Clean and modern hotel. Very nice pool to help you digest all the good food you would have consumed in Taipei!

This is the new brand of Hyatt Hotel group in Taipei. First imoression: similar to Moxy, Citizen M focuses on social and fun with a touch of old fashion-CD Player and old music (nice & used to be popular). Room: good size with a cute wooden box CD player. The room has 2 bottles of 'sustainable glass bottle water', 1 energy powder, capsule coffee, and 2 tea bags. Toiletries were normal standard, and the cute part is eye mask, pillow mist, wooden massage board, ear plugs & and mask. F&B: they have one bar, which was a well-known bar from Taichung. I had a cocktail with a blend of tea. Way too sweet... It's not my ideal.. 5:30-6:30 pm Cocktail time offered free red and white wine, beer, and other soft drinks. I think the brand of white wine and red wine are pretty bad. I only used them for cooking, not drinkable... I honestly think if you gonna offer at least not a common brand of cooking wine that downgrade their chic standard. Breakfast was offered by ground floor restaurant, American style. I didn't choose it due to lack of time. The location is great, about 5 minutes from METRO station. There are only 4 stops from Taipei station. For this price, I think it's higher than other hotels. I would think 2 main reasons: 1st, it's a new one, 2nd good location and brand. But may not be value for money type of Hotel. One funny thing: after comparing with hyatt member price, OTA is cheaper, which is very common. But, I consumed beverages I could not accumulate my spending in my membership points, which I don't see the point.

Persekitarannya cantik. Lokasi bas ulang-alik tidak jelas. Ia bersebelahan dengan bas. Ia adalah pondok bas kecil. Kolam renang adalah jarak tertentu dari tempat penginapan. Tiada laluan pejalan kaki yang jelas dan bahaya berkongsi dengan kereta. Ia adalah kawasan renang yang lebih profesional. Orang yang tidak boleh berenang boleh meminjam pelampung tetapi tidak boleh. Sayang sekali menggunakan cincin renang. Terdapat diskaun untuk penginapan dan lawatan berpandu. Jika penginapan termasuk lawatan atau harga lebih rendah, jejak rahsia yang lebih baik adalah perjalanan sekali sahaja. Grand Hotel selesa dan boleh dikunjungi lagi. Stik Grand Mountain sedap.

Usual 5 star amenities and comfort that one would expect. However some staff at reception here seemed unfriendly , being unhappy to be disturbed from whatever chores they were doing. I also saw a baby cockroach in the bathroom.

We stayed at this hotel for our quarantine stay (3+4). This hotel was the highest priced quarantine hotel in Taipei. As Taiwan is moving away from quarantine, it is unclear whether this hotel will remain a quarantine hotel. Provided meals: Three meals were provided. I believe they rotated it somewhat. I would give them 4 stars overall. They were of mid-to-high end quality, but certainly not Michelin star or 5-star hotel restaurant's quality. That is, I had much better at The Regent or The Sheraton Taipei. That said, there was a microwave in the room for one to heat up the meals to a warmer setting as the meals were prepared in bulk at the lobby. They were lukewarm when the meals arrived in our room. It appeared some meals were prepared by the hotel restaurant and others were from outside sources. The meals were *********, Korean, and Japanese focused. If one wants Western foods, then Food Panda or Uber Eats will be what you want. There are expensive local restaurants at Xinyi Districts that you can pay for to get your own food. Check with the hotel on delivery times, I believe that they won't refund the costs of the meals if one chooses not to eat the prepaid meals. Prior to booking the quarantine hotel, they will send one a form to ask for some preferences and/or allergies. There was a toaster and hot water boiler in the room. The drip coffee and tea packets were super flavorful and refilled (via Line or other means of contact) during our stay. In fact, most contacts were done remotely during the quarantine period. Room: This is what one is paying for in this place if one is stuck here for 8 days (landing day is Day 0). The bed and beddings were super comfortable. The bed was a full king, My room was in the smaller side, but sufficient for two people and eight pieces of luggage. The room was super clean. We know, because we tried wiping some areas and found them to be stainless. We also noticed, via the peephole, that housekeeping took over two hours to deep clean our neighbor's room - including the use of what appeared to be an ultraviolet wand to clean some service areas. There was a clothes-wire in the bathroom if one needed to do handwash laundry during the quarantine stay. Unfortunately, the hotel didn't provide any detergent, but we used the provide soap, The bathroom was large with rain showerhead available. The toilet was a bit too high up off the floor for us as we are around 5 ft 8 inches but flushed well. If one's room faced south or east, one would get a good view of Taipei 101. The south side would get a full view, and east side (our room) got the view from the couch in the ”living room” area. The TV was pretty large and we could watch it from our bed comfortably. The only complaint, if any, was that it didn't have as many international channels for this high-end hotel. I wanted Bloomberg, but nothing was offered. Not even CNBC. The WiFi was very fast. The hotel is brand new. Interior Design jS especially fantastic. Many details display like lighting, towel handle, floor materials, room size, charging pots, high quality flushing system...etc. The view is nice, facing Yang Ming mountain. Close to night market. However it takes around 10-15mins walk to Jian Tan mrt station. There are convenient stores downstairs and bus routes to various station. Will consider to stay again next time.
