當天搭火車到太麻里先去櫻木花道平交道拍照
突然開始下起雨來，短時間內看來不會停
打電話到飯店櫃台無人接聽
因此一開始一家人就淋濕了
雖說走路只要8分鐘
但臨時遇雨當地也不容易叫計程車
如果飯店有人接應接駁的話我們會很感謝的
抵達飯店後親子房就在一樓
看到上下舖孩子都很興奮
飯店很貼心準備了小朋友的桌椅跟一袋積木
就能讓小孩玩很久了
傍晚還是微雨，愛心傘小巧輕便小孩也有辦法自己撐
逛一圈回來詢問櫃檯表示忘憂館的遊戲室可以玩
球池讓小孩充分放電、大人放鬆很棒
隔天早餐簡單
如果有麥片小孩會比較愛吃
吃完早餐又去遊戲室遊玩、蓋紀念章
飯店大廳也有販售當地名產
房間走廊是整面的吉祥物大圖很可愛好拍

渡假好地方，有泳池溫泉在旁有煮溫泉蛋區也有座椅，可以在哪坐看顧孩子玩水。只是小孩都腳底會受傷會割到或踢到，2個小孩都有傷口！
這次安排在小木屋區去泳池溫泉很近，但是早上下雨要去餐廳都必須淋雨，需借用雨傘必須去大廳借，這樣就淋到雨了，如果有服務借雨傘來放置住在小木屋區就更好，整體還不錯，下次還會選擇這裡。

飯店很大一間，但住宿的旅客不多，當晚的大眾池只有我自己一人享用（房間內也可以泡溫泉）雖然飯店比較有年紀，但也代表房間能有一定的坪數，寬敞的房間和浴室還不錯。從知本火車站到知本溫泉即可到達，就算不是開車的旅人也很方便。p.s.大眾池須著泳衣及泳帽。

Overall is a very nice resort. However if you’re coming for a vacation and without a motorcycle license, it’s going to be a bit hard because there are no Electric scooter to rent no more, but it’s nice that the hotel could help you call taxi whenever you want. A perfect place to relax and enjoy the pool, hot spring and so on!

Location was 8min drive from station.
It was the newest and most modern hotel in zhiben I feel. It could be 5star standards.
The hotel comes with the hot spring which was a really good highlight of trip. I try hot spring in zhiben out in town and it wasn’t better than the hotel’s. That’s how nice it was.
Breakfast was repetitive. Can be improved with more varieties for consecutive days.
Room was perfect. Clean, big and comfortable bed.
This is my first and only choice to stay in zhiben.

The bed is comfortable, the property is clean and well maintained. The team is always available to answer your queries. They go the extra mile to help you with things, full of local knowledge. And those were the 2 amazing days during my solo trip around Taiwan, I get to meet Mei and Alice during my stay. They are the best Host you could ever meet. I didn't even feel that I am staying in a hostel, it's more like home. If you get a chance to meet them, you should talk to them. They are super cool and don't forget to learn how to make Woven Bracelets from them. Alice is the best teacher to learn from. They defined how a hostel should be for travelers. And yes, we prepared Indian Chicken curry together. Don't miss this place, if you are visiting Taitung.

GGlenn ScarffeI highly recommend this hotel for all travellers, especially foreigners - note I was a self-drive so the location wasn't an issue. From the moment I arrived I was greeted by a lovely young lady who came outside to show me my car space. Her equally-lovely colleague then assisted in checking me in and making me feel very welcome. I was given a map of the local area and some suggested eating spots. They also helped in charging my phone. The girls' spoke enough English to help me, and the breakfast at a nearby cafe was great. The room was exactly what I needed - a very clean room, comfortable bed, and nice warm shower. I am going to stay again next time I visit beautiful Taiwan.

Most importantly the common area which is open atrium with plenty of books and seating area as well as various snacks, drinks were carefully thought/ planned.

WWander03316663263I stayed at this hotel in May 9-10, 2023. It was less than ten minutes' walk from the bus stop where I got off, located at the center of a busy area. Since I booked on line, I didn't have the option of including breakfast, so the stuff told me and offered to get me free coupon for breakfast and also upgraded my room. I arrived while the elevator was being maintained (for abut two hours) and before check in time, but the stuff were super helpful and got a room for me, and carried my luggage upstairs for me. The location is perfect, I could walk to the biggest street market and find lots of restaurants nearby. Even though the hotel is on a busy street, it was pretty quiet inside. My biggest surprise was the breakfast. It was located on the top floor with lots of western and Chinese food selections. The best part of this hotel is the friendliness of the stuff, it made me feel at home. As a solo traveler, being able to chat with friendly stuff is very comforting. They answered all my questions, gave me suggestions, the best stuff in my one month long travel in Taiwan. I will definitely stay there when I visit Taitung again.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaA wonderfully located hotel that has the mountain view as there is no other tall buildings around it. Parking is convenient - just outside the hotel, hotel basement or an open-air parking area opposite the hotel.
Room is very spacious and two full sized luggage can be opened comfortably with ample walking space. The toilet is big as well. There is bread and coffee/tea/juice available 24 hour. Instant noodles vending machine is available too. There is no convenience store around the hotel.
Wide variety of food is available during breakfast - porridge with condiments, cooked food, toast, fruits, salad etc.
Totally enjoyed the view that the room has to offer!

TTobias TI recently had the opportunity to stay at ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong, and overall, I found it to be an okay accommodation option. Here are my thoughts on various aspects of the hostel:
Atmosphere and Policies
Upon arrival, one of the notable aspects of the hostel was the requirement to remove shoes before entering. Although this might inconvenience some guests, it does contribute to maintaining cleanliness throughout the premises. The hostel has a modest, laid-back atmosphere, which can be suitable for travelers seeking a relaxed environment.
Room
Unfortunately, I found the room to be a bit claustrophobic. The limited space made it challenging to move around comfortably. However, considering the price, it was within the acceptable range. The room was clean and tidy, which was a positive point.
Service
One aspect that could be improved is the level of service provided. The staff offered minimal assistance during my stay, which led to a lack of personal touch. Despite this, it's worth noting that the basic amenities and necessities were provided.
Pricing
Considering the reasonable price offered by ”It's Mine Hostel,” it is essential to manage expectations accordingly. While some aspects may not be perfect, the affordability of the accommodation must be taken into account when evaluating the overall value.
In conclusion, ”It's Mine Hostel” in Taidong is an okay option for travelers on a budget. It is worth noting that the hostel has a relaxed atmosphere. it provides basic amenities and cleanliness. If you're willing to overlook some limitations, ”It's Mine Hostel” can be a decent choice for your stay in Taidong.

PPengguna TetamuI had a pleasant stay at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel 4 years ago, so thought I'd try Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II this time, as they are located near to each other, very close to the bus station and Tiehua Village. This is a great location to explore the city. However, other than the superb location and the bigger room, there isn't much else to love about this hotel.
There was literally no service at this branch. Staff were not welcoming and unlike other hotels in Taiwan, they do not greet guests when you are at the lobby. I also never saw any of them smile at guests. In fact, on my first day of check-in, I was blatantly told to check in at Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel instead, because ”the hotel is closed for the day”. When I asked how come I was not informed earlier, the staff answered ”because you don't have a Taiwan mobile number”. This is absurd to me, isn't there the Trip.com messaging service where you can contact guests? Very disappointed with the way they handle such cases, no apology at all, and just gives a very transactional feeling. The only time I encountered a staff who greeted me was at the breakfast restaurant.
Room amenities and facilities look like they need proper maintenance, and the windows were so dirty. The bed was also not very comfortable to sleep on.
Lastly, I know Taiwan hotel breakfasts are usually not so nice compared to eating out in the breakfast shops, but the quality of the breakfast was really bad. Seasonal fresh fruit selection was only watermelon on 1 morning, and guava + watermelon on another.
In conclusion, very disappointed with my stay here this time. Will definitely think twice about returning to Traveller Inn Tiehua Cultural and Creative Hotel II the next time I visit Taitung again.
