Excellence stay when visit takachino attractions The lady caretaker was friendly and tried her best to make our stay welcome .

Stayed overnight and can not recommend. The place is not clean, unhygienic and has very bad musty smell. No proper bedding and quilt was greasy and smells bad, unpleasant to touch. Also on trip.com check out time was until 12 and the owner said it's 10. 2 stars only because grandma was friendly.

The hotel is far from the main tourist and transport destinations. In 30 minutes, I walked to both the bus station and Takachiho Shrine. It's difficult to do that in the rain. But this is overlapped by the hotel owner who took me to the Kunimigaoka 🤩 observation deck at 6 a.m. And she also volunteered and took her suitcase to the bus station after my eviction 🥰. I haven't met the sweet hostess of the hotel. I recommend experiencing this experience of living on the tatami mat and sleeping on a futon.
