Hotel berhampiran Tokiwainari Shrine, Takamatsu

JR高松駅からは少し離れていて、琴電の瓦町駅が近いホテルです。 高松駅から歩くなら徒歩20分です。兵庫町の商店街と中央商店街をしばらく歩き、1本曲がったところにあります。 ホテル周辺は飲み屋が多いですが、予想していたよりは静かでした。 バストイレ別のホテルですが、洗面台がベッドの横にあるのでその点は好みが分かれるかもしれません。洗面台がもう少し大きいと良いと思いました。 部屋は大きめのキャリーバッグだと何とか広げられるか、少し厳しい広さのため、連泊期間が長いなら必要な荷物を絞ったほうが良さそうです。

Clean, cozy, convenient and kind. I booked a comfort twin room (females only) which had two beds, a separate toilet and bathroom with a bathtub and shower. They had a Dyson hair drier so it took only a few minutes (ok ten minutes max) for two mid-length haired women to dry up. That greatly added to the efficiency. The level of hygiene was beyond my expectations for such an affordably priced accomodation that I was glad I had booked my first and last night in Takamatsu. The staff was very cordial as well and even though a majority of them didn't seem to speak English, they were still very eager to help using translating applications. Thr breakfast was quite good considering - great value for money as it had cost only 10,000 yen. I'll definitely book this place again if I go back to Takamatsu.

Location: Excellently situated adjacent to a shopping arcade, with convenience stores conveniently nearby. Service: The reception staff are accommodating and helpful. Tidiness: The room was maintained in a clean condition. Accessibility: The hotel’s location ensures easy access to public transportation, making it a breeze to explore the surrounding area.

The hotel is right next to the airport bus stop and no need to tow or walk a long time with luggage. room is japan standard room size but clean. Very good breakfast.

　３年ぶり、２度目の東横イン高松兵庫町に宿泊しました。高松駅からはちょっと離れていて、歩くと６～７分かかります。でも、街の中心街に位置していて、兵庫町商店街のアーケードがすぐ隣という好立地です。 　周りには飲食店も多く、評判のよいうどん屋さんも、骨付鳥の人気店も多くあります。 　東横インですから、ホテルは豪華ではありません。むしろ簡素なんですが、管内全体が明るくて清潔に保たれています。コロナ渦の中、無料の朝食はビュッフェをやめて、すべて個別にパックに入っていて、部屋に持ち込んでいただいてもよいシステムになっていました。

かなりストレスの溜まるホテルでわたし的には出張で宿泊するビジネスホテルそのものであり、建物や設備が新しいと云うだけが取り柄の場所でした。何かにつけて使い勝手が悪い、各種機器のスイッチ類の反応も鈍い、ハンガーが２つしかなくて不便、最低でも一人４本は必要、ティッシュペーパーのサイズ(折り畳んであり)が小さく引き出してから一枚づつ広げてから使う必要がある、ハンドタオルとフェイスタオルで１枚しか無く衛生的ではない、寝間着も子供の部屋着みたいで落ち着かない、夕食時に次々と使用した皿を回収してくれるのは良いんだが、余りにもそのスピードが早過ぎて気忙しい、レストランのメニュー表に珈琲が計上されて無い、実際は注文したらあるのに。朝のバイキングも会場に入るまでに長時間並んで待つ必要があり不便、お薦めの「うどん」も大したもんではない、食べ物であり個人的嗜好が働くのはやむを得ないが、お薦めされるほどのものではなかった。シングルなので仕方ないとは云え、バスルームと寝室が透明ガラスにしてあり見えるのは何か意図でもあるのかな？ここで唯一良かったのはユニットバスじゃなくてバスルームとトイレが分離されていることくらいかな。

駅周辺からは少し距離がありますが、リーズナブルな価格で宿泊できる格式あるホテルです。讃岐うどんの旅で利用したため、多賀町にある行列の出来る有名店に、朝一番の散歩がてら徒歩でアクセス（２０分弱）できたのが良かったです。それ以外も、駐車場が２４時間出入自由だったで、何気に便利でした。 部屋はスタンダードツインを利用しました。広くはないですが、不自由はなく、綺麗な部屋で掃除も行き届き、快適でした。 高松に滞在する際は、また利用したいホテルです。

2023年10月、オーシャンビューツインルーム(バルコニー)で1泊 【良かった点】 ・とにかく部屋のバルコニーからの眺めが素晴らしい ・温故知新をコンセプトにしたホテル内装外装のデザインが独創的 ・隣接したFORQというレストランの食事が美味しい ・競輪のレースをバルコニーから観戦できるのは玉野だけ ・アートの島「直島」へのアクセスが良い 【注意点】 ・レストランでの夕食は一般客と共通、窓際の席は要予約らしく座れなかった ・バルコニーからの観戦は海風が強くて夜は寒い ・自販機はあるがお酒の販売はしてないので、飲みたい人は持参した方が良い ・最寄りのスーパーやコンビニまで徒歩で行くのはやや厳しい距離 ・ミッドナイト競輪開催中のみバルコニー観戦はできないらしい ・競輪開催中は大浴場が使えずシャワーのみ 【総評】 競輪好き以外にもおすすめ出来るホテル。アートの島「直島」へ観光に行く宿泊地としてもおすすめ。
