location was a 5 minute walk from the nearest station and had free parking on site, which was nice. there was only 1 bath though. so we had to wait a while.

Great option for visiting the Shirahige Shrine. The host offered a ride in the early morning after knowing we were planning to go, which was extremely kind of him. Room was very spacious and clean, with a nice view. Very close to the station and easy to find. The only thing I would note is that there was only one bath. We arrived around 830pm and planned to take the bath shortly, but by the time we settled and got downstairs (around 9pm), someone else was using it so we couldn't get in until after 930. It was a shame that we couldn't enjoy the hot bath as much as we wanted as we tried to hurry out for the next group since they were waiting after us but I'm not sure if they were able to use it as the bath closes at 10pm.

If you want to watch the sunrise at Shirahira Shrine, there aren't many options in Takashima. This hotel is a very old-fashioned Japanese-style hotel, very ordinary, and it even has a shared bathroom, which is really inconvenient. If you have the means, it's better to choose another hotel.

The location is conveniently close to the JR station, and there are several restaurants nearby, making it a good value option.

This place is a hidden gem! The rooms are cozy and comfortable, with unique decor that makes you feel right at home. The hosts are incredibly hospitable and offered many local travel tips, and the breakfast was delicious. It's perfect for relaxing and enjoying a relaxing holiday!

Check-in was at 11:00, but due to a delay in airport immigration, I arrived around 11:30. I was grateful that the host allowed me to check in, and I was able to stay there. The tatami room was clean and neatly organized, so the atmosphere was very nice.

We received a warm welcome. The room was very nice and spacious. It was a shame that the shower was only available from 5 pm to 10 pm, and not on the morning of our departure. However, a sink in the room allowed us to brush our teeth on the morning of our departure.

The room is very large; it would be spacious enough for three or four people to stay in.

The five-person room has no lock from the outside and there are cockroaches in the room, which is difficult to accept.
