Ulasan Residence Hotel Takayama Station

It is very clean and strategic location! It is just located beside the takayama terminal bus station and opposite it got a family mart store. We stayed 3 nights here and the room was spacious ( can fit in two 28 inch luggage). I will come back and stay again !

First time staying and love the location. Literally 2min head-on walk from Takayama station. Easily walking about 20mins to high street and restaurants but Lawson just up the road right opposite. Room is cosy with a kitchenette, washer and fridge but no table... our kids have to set up a table using a suitcase. First time seeing a Jap grill in their kitchenette which is a pleasant surprise! Only pick is on hair found on cook top, bath tub and fridge. 🫠 amenity drinks can be taken from reception counter but towels gotta go through the receptionist. Elevator is rather tiny and just about fit our 2 large, 1 medium and 1 small suitcases.

The hotel is conveniently located just a short walk from the Hida Takayama Station East Exit – turn left after exiting, pass the Nohi Bus Terminal, and you're there. This makes taking the bus and JR very convenient. The room comes equipped with cutlery, cooking utensils, oil, and salt, allowing guests to cook their own Hida beef. There are two large supermarkets near the JR Station West Exit, about a 10-minute walk away.

Low CP as of its size and design. My friends stayed at Fav Lux at lower price with bigger room and better facilities. Yet the receptionist was super helpful with fluent English, offering nice service for our parking.

The 31-square-meter room was clean and bright, with a door separating the kitchen and bedroom. The bathroom and shower room were two separate spaces, which was very comfortable. It was fully equipped with a washing machine, refrigerator, pots, plates, bowls, and chopsticks. We bought Hida beef from the supermarket and cooked it ourselves. Both large supermarkets are west of the hotel; just exit the hotel, turn left, then left again, cross the railway underpass, and walk straight for 8 minutes to reach them. From the hotel balcony, looking south, you can see the Takayama Nohi Bus Center. The staff were warm and welcoming, and spoke excellent English.

Extremely well-equipped and ideal for family travel, featuring a washer and dryer. The spacious layout is conveniently located near shopping areas, making it easy to prepare breakfast and dinner. The kitchen is fully stocked with all necessary utensils, and the property boasts an excellent location.

We booked a family suite, and the pictures showed three separate sleeping areas. However, when we arrived, one of them was locked. The front desk said it was because we were only two adults and one child. I then tried to check out early, but the agency couldn't reach the hotel for a day and a half. After countless emails, they finally replied, refusing a refund. I'm grateful to Trip.com for helping me get a refund for one night. I wouldn't recommend this hotel; aside from its good location, the service is truly awful.

Choosing the Hida Takayama Station Front Hotel for this trip was absolutely the right decision. It's right next to the bus station, just a left turn out of the train station. This was incredibly convenient for us, especially with luggage. The room was spacious, with a separate wet and dry area, and came equipped with a washing machine, microwave, induction hob, cookware, and even seasonings. Travelers who enjoy a slower pace of life would really appreciate it.

The room was spacious and well-equipped with a kitchen, fridge, and washing machine. It's very close to the bus terminal, which was convenient for our late-night arrival, allowing for a quick check-in. It's also near Ming-Maru Beef, so if the line is too long there, you can just buy the beef to cook yourself!

The location is excellent, right next to the Nohi Bus Center and the train station. The room is spacious, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, plus there's a small kitchen and a balcony. There's only one small elevator. We stayed on the second floor, so we could use the stairs, but the balcony didn't have much of a view. I really love Takayama; it's a small town with narrow streets and so much to explore.

The location is right next to Takayama JR Station, not far from Maruaki and the old town. The best part is having a kitchen and a washing machine. We arrived late on our first day and most restaurants were closed, so we bought Hida beef from the supermarket and grilled it ourselves at the hotel!

Safety: The security here is top-notch, with front desk staff almost always present downstairs, which is very reassuring. Cleanliness: The cleaning staff does a thorough and excellent job; it's very clean. Transportation: It's right next to the JR station and Nohi Bus Terminal, making it super convenient as a transfer point for Kamikochi and Shirakawa-go. Surroundings: It's also pleasant to explore the area around the hotel.
