This is a lodging facility that has been renovated from old houses and old banks. It is one of the few hotels in Takehara and is a valuable presence. The rooms are not well-fitted overall, probably because they have preserved the old buildings. The sliding door to the bathroom stopped working midway through our stay and would not open or close. The rooms are spacious and they try to exude a sense of luxury, but there are some things that make you wonder if the towel racks and other amenities are just a part of the facility. The concierge was very friendly and the atmosphere was good, so there were no particular issues, but I did not feel the same satisfaction as I would have if I had stayed at a high-end inn. I also think the price of the room is a bit high.
