I stayed at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort during the rainy season, and I have to say — it was a great experience! Many people think that the rainy season in Thailand is not the best time to visit, but here it was absolutely fine. There were not so many rainy days, and even when it rained, it often passed quickly, leaving the air fresh and the nature even greener. One of the big advantages of this time of year is the peace and space — fewer tourists, a calmer atmosphere, and more opportunities to enjoy the beach almost to yourself. And of course, the prices during the low season are much more attractive, which makes the stay even more enjoyable. So if you’ve ever doubted visiting Thailand during the rainy season, I can honestly recommend it — especially here at Graceland Khaolak Beach Resort. You might just discover it’s the perfect time for you!

We (wife, myself and 8 year old son) stayed end of March 2026. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very helpful and placed us in a nice room with King size bed and knew us by name. The bedroom had an ocean view + balcony and comfortable bed that fit all 3 of us. We arrived on a Tuesday when they do a weekly firedance. We really enjoyed the infinity pool at sunset where the pool met the ocean and sky. The staff was willing to drive us by golf cart between the 2 sides of the resort to be able to access the whole resort easily. The restaurant food was tasty as well but only complaint was that it was Italian food and we were in Thailand and wanted to eat Thai food. The included buffet breakfast was wonderful with an array of options for everyone and it changed a bit every day we were there (5 nights). For us, the location was not ideal, as you have to take a taxi to get to the town or restaurants and we ended up finding a couple spots we could walk to near the resort (Memories Beach next door) and a small restaurant walking distance. We were delighted to find that there is an Elephant Sanctuary next door to Aspara, walking distance and visiting the elephants was an amazing experience (1000 THB for 3 people and food/milk to feed the elephants). We did a day snorkel trip to Surin National Park and the location was accessible for the pickup to the port. I was unable to use Grab for food or ride service and when we did use taxi, we used the hotel taxi service, which was a bit more expensive than I wanted. The ride to the airport was 2,500 THB for the 3 of us and our bags arranged by hotel. It was nice knowing that the taxi would be there and it was a private ride with AC and plenty of room. There is a river that divides the two sides of the resort and it passes in front of the hotel into the ocean. We were advised not to swim in the river, so we were a bit concerned when crossing it or to swim in the water that is poured into, but we did swim in the water in front of the Memories Beach just adjacent to Aspara. I would recommend Aspara particularly to folks looking for quiet, and prefer to be away from hustle and bustle of city and who don't mind taking a Tuk Tuk to places they want to visit. Great place to go to if you don't want to leave the resort. I would have preferred to be closer to more restaurants (walking distance) but otherwise, the staff, the grounds, the breakfast, everyone was amazing. Enjoy the photos. MN

We really enjoyed our stay. The resort is beautiful and peaceful and we loved our Pool Access room. The only thing I’d mention is that check-in took quite a while. Some guests who arrived after us were checked in first, so we ended up walking to the counter ourselves. A special thanks to Ben for handling everything professionally. He was friendly, attentive, and made us feel well taken care of. We’d happily stay here again.

The front office staff provided excellent service during check-in and clearly explained the hotel information. The room was not as old as expected, it was spacious, and the hotel is located right on the beach—quiet and perfect for relaxation. However, the swimming pool was not clean, with leaves floating in it. Overall, the stay was good, but I was disappointed during check-out. After I had already left the hotel and was making a U-turn to head home, a security guard stopped my car to ask for a transfer slip for the melon water charge. The front office staff had asked him to do this. (Can recheck CCTV) I believe the staff should double-check all documents more carefully before guests leave, rather than asking for payment proof afterward. Fortunately, the security guard was polite and humble. Please consider improving how the front office handles and resolves such situations.

We had a truly peaceful and wonderful stay at your hotel. We are very satisfied with the service — the staff were incredibly attentive and helpful to our family. Thank you so much for taking such good care of us. The service standards were truly at a high level, and we really appreciated the warm hospitality. Unfortunately, because my daughter was not feeling well, we were not able to fully enjoy all of the facilities this time. We will definitely come back again in the future to have a proper relaxing stay. Wishing you continued success and all the best!

The room was nice, especially because of how comfortable the bed was. The pool is spacious and has beautiful oceanfront views. As for the breakfast, while there is a wide variety, protein options are limited, with few meats, curries or stews .The machine coffee at the entrance tasted horrible, the coffee was watery, had no crema and lacked any aroma.

Там вы увидите кур с цыплятами и петухов, коров и кокосовые пальмы. Завтраки однообразны. Номера большие и просторные. Есть на чём сидеть - в номере два кресла из ротанга, два стула и табурет, что редкость для Таиланда. Большой телевизор на котором можно смотреть свои фильмы с USB носителя. Горячая вода есть! Мне всё понравилось.

Our stay at Le Méridien Khao Lak was absolutely wonderful and perfect for a family getaway. We traveled with our two year old twins, and the resort could not have been better suited for families with young children. The entire property is beautiful, spacious, and incredibly well maintained. There are so many pools to choose from that it never felt crowded, and there was always something for everyone to enjoy. The rooms were modern, comfortable, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights for our children was the playroom. It was a great escape during the hottest hours of the day, and they absolutely loved spending time there. The atmosphere throughout the resort was warm, welcoming, and very family friendly. Whether you want to relax, swim, enjoy the beach, or keep the kids entertained, this resort really offers everything. We would absolutely come back and can highly recommend Le Méridien Khao Lak for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday in Thailand.

The Hotel is cozy & the concept is cultural. But, 1. The room soundproof is bad, i can hear someone walking outside the corridor & even i stay at 4 floor i can here people talking loudly in the late night at the lobby… the sound travel through the staircase up. 2. Overall breakfast was good. 3. This is a non smoking hotel, but the smoke detector in the room are covered, during check out i did ask the reception staff. They just ignore my question on their Fire Alarm System. Above is not complain, is just my comments. Thanks

Hi, Overall, I had a pleasant stay. The hotel was beautiful, the room was clean, the staff were professional and welcoming, and the breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. However, I was disappointed by the inconsistency in the room amenities. The hotel’s website stated that my room type included a bathtub, and I also saw recent guests on TikTok staying in the same room category with one (they just recorded video recently). Unfortunately, the room I was assigned did not have a bathtub. As a five-star hotel, I believe consistency and accurate room descriptions are essential. The bathtub was one of the main reasons I chose to book this room, so it was disappointing when the actual room did not match the information provided. I hope the hotel will update its room descriptions or clearly specify if room features vary within the same category. Doing so would help manage guests’ expectations and avoid similar disappointments in the future. Despite this issue, I still enjoyed my stay overall, especially the excellent breakfast and the warm hospitality of the staff. Thanks
