Hotel berhampiran White Sand Beach Khao Lak, Daerah Takua Pa

Beautiful location and hotel grounds are absolutely stunning. On the surface the rooms look good but they are a bit dated with some impractical features and water was dripping from the AC vent. The toilet is semi private which is a bit strange - it sort of connects with the shower area which is not ideal when you are with your partner. Also there are no wardrobe doors even though the shower area is right next to it. The staff are generally nice and friendly but service is very average for a hotel of this nature compared to other boutique hotels, with staff constantly forgetting things from food or drinks orders at the restaurant. Flexibility of breakfast was fantastic though and in general the food was excellent. Encountered some issues with room service on our first evening which were resolved promptly the following day. End of stay was disappointing - we appreciated the hotel were able to extend our check-out by 2 hours to 2pm (and able to use a shower room to get changed later in the day), but they made it abundantly clear that if we wanted the room to 7pm then we would have to pay for another half-day occupancy even though the hotel was definitely not full. If the hotel was at full capacity, we would have completely understood the situation. It all felt a bit ‘budget’ from a 5 star hotel. To make matters worse, during a rainy and cool afternoon, we ended up killing time on sun-beds on the beach before we could use the their shower room. The bizarre thing was that the shower room turned out to be a different guest room identical to the one we had been staying in. Surely it would have been easier to let us stay in our original room for a few extra hours, it would also have saved the hotel from having to clean two rooms. Given that we had arrived very late on the first night, it was not like we were trying to take advantage of them and maximise our stay - we were just killing time ahead of our evening flight. It was all quite a weird end and so not sure we’d go back or recommend this hotel even though the setting is incredibly beautiful. There is a lot of communication provided about the ethos of excellent hospitality while staying in the hotel. This specific action and policy seemed in opposition to these communicated values.

My wife and I arrive late at night and chose this hotel for a stay close to the airport. The room is very nice and spacious and the bed has a soft mattress. That was a big plus! The internet works well but the shower is hard to get in and out and you have to watch not to slip and fall.

Our stay at Robinson the was great. It was the end of our trip with two sets of parents, and the perfect place to wind down and relax on a beautiful beach. The staff was excellent and made us feel immediately welcomed. The biggest positives in our view: Staff, cleanliness, immaculate grounds, breakfast, gym/basketball/sports courts, and the great beach. What could be improved upon: the a la carte menu at the Bamboo bar was lacking in Thai options, as well as general quality. We ordered 7 dishes, and only the samosas and fish and chips were of decent quality compared to other food on our trip. This was in stark contrast to their breakfast and dinner buffets, which were both pretty good. Neutral: The location. While the resort has everything you'd need, they are fairly out of the way of everything. This offers a more private and quiet feel, but also means options are lacking, such as finding good Thai food or doing any light shopping or stocking up on drinking water at a sane price. - If you walk south on the beach (through a fun rocky area when tide isn't too high), you'll find some good restaurants, such as Thai Beach restaurant. Their food was among the best we'd had on our trip. The massaman curry was fantastic. Overall: Lovely stay, and would come back again for a few days!

I couldn't prise them enough. All staffs are Professional and willing to work/help. Restaurant chef and crews cook very tasty food. Lettuce decoration on the plate are old but i ignore that Compare to other good things they done. Every staffs seems happy there.Swimming pool is clean and got slider. Massage shop next to hotel is a bad place, not go there.

Doesn't provide toothbrush/toothpaste until you request, they also don't give you sufficient as I stayed there 3night, asked to buy my own toothpaste. But location is good if you want to be by the beach else it's kinda far from everywhere, best to have your own transport if you plan to go out, altho there is PAID shuttle service to ban hiang. But this place knows how to squeeze you it's pretty in nowhere. They have a convenience shop at hotel front which is pricey. Cleanliness is ok, but considering old hotel, you get some dirty corners. And bed was tad hard, tv limited channels.

Super gelegenes und sehr sehr schönes hotel mit einem sehr schönen Garten aber allgemein ein super schöner Außenbereich.die Angestellten stets immer höflich und nett und hilfsbereit.. Man kann hier und da immer ein paar Kleinigkeiten bzw Dinge anregen verändern oder umgestalten aber das kann man in jedem Hotel. Wenn man sucht dann findet man auch aber hier muss ich sagen ist der herausragende gute Prozent Teil des Guten mehr als 90 %...aber was bzw wer hat schon 100% ? Wir sind hochzufrieden und werden gerne wiederkommen.

Огромный отель, прям не типичный для Таиланда. Разные корпуса, показалось что дальние поновее. Жили там вторую часть отпуска в номере с выходом в бассейн и джакужи (в самом бассейне). В спальне не понятная ванна зачем нужная около окна. номер двух комнатный (гостиная и спальня) вход в ванную есть и оттуда и оттуда, но опчему то не закрывается что не удобно для семьи. Завтраки очень хорошие. На пляже отличный променадик с кафешками.

Прекрасный отель, жили в бунгало номер 11. Слышны птички, гекконы, под окном гуляли птицы. Завтрак довольно вкусный(не шведский стол). Персонал очень заботливый. В общем самые лучшие воспоминания. Утром за завтраком все время было видно бурундука.

ที่ชายหาดไม่มีเตียงให้นอน แต่เห็นแขกยกไปนอนเอง แบกเตียงชายหาดจากสระว่ายน้ำไปเอง งงเลย สระว่ายน้ำเยอะมาก รร.ใหญ่มาก โซนฮอลิเดย์ สวยค่ะ อาหารเช้าดีค่ะ ที่นั่งเพียงพอ ห้องพักโดยรวม สวย กว้าง สระว่ายน้ำโซนฮอลิเดย์บางจุดมีเศษสกปรกลอยๆมา น้ำมีกลิ่นสนิมนะคะ ในห้องพัก ตรงตู้วางตู้เย็นเห็นมีรอยปลวกกินไม้ด้วย ไม่ได้เช็ดออก ท่อระบายน้ำในอ่างอาบน้ำอุดตัน น้ำไม่ระบายต้อง เรียกช่างมาซ่อม เสียเวลาพักผ่อนมาก ไฟระเบียงเปิดไม่ติด ต้องให้ช่างมาซ่อมอีก ตอนซ่อมเศษฝ้าเพดานตกลงมา ก้ไม่ทำความสะอาด ระเนระนาดไปหมด งง โซฟาbedตรงส่วนที่ดึงออกมาได้ มีตะปู2ตัวโผล่ตออกมาฝั่งแหลม เกี่ยวขาเราเลือดออกเลยค่ะ อันตรายมากยังเป็นแผลมา 5 วันแล้ว ถ้าเกี่ยวรุนแรงกว่านี้ อันตรายมากแน่ๆ แจ้ง0 ไปเขาก้เฉยๆนะคะ แจ้งไปพร้อมกับตอนซ่อมอ่างอาบน้ำ คิดว่าครั้งหน้าคงเปลี่ยนไปนอนที่อื่นค่ะ

Wer einen Erstklassigen Hotelurlaub möchte, ist hier richtig! Die Zimmer sind groß und geräumig, Kaffee, Tee und Wasser wird im Zimmer jeden Tag nachgefüllt. Sogar Föhn, Bügelbrett und Bügeleisen sind vorhanden, sowie die nötigen Badutensilien wie Zahnbürste, Rasierer, Wattestäbchen, etc. Die Anlage ist wunderschön und alles ist super sauber. Der Pool ist herrlich und als Alternative ist das Meer und der Strand direkt nebenan. Es gibt ein Restaurant, Fitnessstudio und Massagen am Pool/Strand. Die Kinder sind im Kids Club mit wechselndem Angebot super versorgt und auch für die größeren gibt es Angebote. Alleine bleiben dürfen dort Kinder ab 4, ansonsten muss mindestens eine Aufsichtsperson dabei bleiben. Das Frühstück lässt für niemanden Wünsche offen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und vor allem mit den Kindern wird viel gescherzt. Einziger Nachteil war für uns die Lage, fussläufig ist nur ein kleiner Supermarkt und ein Geldautomat im nächsten Hotel erreichbar. Alternativen zum leckeren Hotelessen gibt es zwar fussläufig über den Strand, aber wer etwas Abwechslung liebt und auch etwas bummeln möchte abends, der sollte sich ein zentraleres Hotel suchen. Ansonsten gibt es gegen Gebühr Shuttlebusse auf den nächst gelegenen Markt und in die Stadt Khao lak, die etwa 30 Minuten dauert. Ein Grab kann man in dieser Region leider nicht buchen. Einen Ausflugscounter und einen Shuttlebus zum Flughafen gibt es auch, lässt sich jedoch direkt am Strand etwas kostengünstiger ebenso buchen.
