Hotel berhampiran Lorong Bintan, Tanjung Pinang

Room is clean and spacious, counter is swift and polite. Close to ferry terminal. Would recommend. Checked in at 1pm, but rooms only ready at 2pm. No issue, we went nearby and had a look around. I haven't had the breakfast yet, and didn't purchase it but if you intend to do so the restaurant looks clean and inviting as well. WiFi in the room works, TV works, toilet is clean. The bed works. That's all I need.

Basic but everything is ok for budget travellers

If you are not fussy about a ”right slap in the city” hotel, then this is a perfect hotel for you and your family! The hotel is within walking distance to Melayu Square, Tugu Pencil, Gong-gong building, Jalan Hang Tuah, the newly built coastal bridge, and the main ferry port. The neighborhood is also very friendly and littered with many little local eateries and grocery shops that are not expensive! Even if you want a very good Chinese seafood restaurant, Sei Enam is only a stone throw away! The hotel rooms are very basic and simple and the hotel is not equipped with a elevator, so if you are staying on the 4th floor, you'll have to walk up! Inside the rooms are simple appliances like TV, cable, telephone, drinking cups, bottled water, slippers, cupboards, drawers, hot and cold water showers, toothbrush with toothpaste, shampoo, small bar soaps, aircon, firm pillows, and even a nice bolster for you to hug to sleep! There are unfortunately no water billers nor coffee and tea condiments in the room. Hot and cold drinking water are on level 1 dinning area. The hotel package that I took came with a simple breakfast. The dishes are local and spicy and they are often sprinkled with peanuts. Breakfast come in wrapped up (takeaway) packages with all the pratas sauces, and/or rice in paper and plastic wrappings. Cutleries and plates are available for use. Free flow of coffee and tea with sugar (no milk nor creamer). For the price of about S$26/day, I thought that it was such a wonderful stay in this hotel! Even though it is without much amenities (because I'd rather go take my walks around town and go get a boat ride), I highly recommend this 2 star hotel for a simple and affordable stay in Tanjung Pinang! Initially i wouldn't want to give Alltrue Hotel a bad review. The room was really nice, comfortable and clean. The whole hotel looked really pleasant and the staff were very smiley and friendly. But something happened during our first night stay over during CNY recently. Me and my husband was asleep and suddenly we got woken up by a loud singing voice that echoed the whole room at 3am in the middle of night. The TV turned on by itself and a creepy figure was standing in the screen singing. For some reason, the sound of the TV was super loud. My husband immediately switched off the TV after he noticed i was trembling very badly. We immediately ran out of the room to find the reception and asked the staff on duty to come up to our room to rectify the issue. Upon turning the TV back on, the figure was still there singing. The staff told us that someone(might be another guest) has been pranking the hotel by casting this specific video to random TVs in the hotel as they are using smart TV. He changed our TV WIFI to another private network and assured us that it would not happen again. The next day at 12 noon, the same thing happened to another TV in the hotel as we can hear the loud singing coming from outside of our room again. The staff on duty promptly turned it off. My husband immediately went down to the reception and informed the staff on duty(different staffs because change of shift) what happened last night and asked them if they are able to solve the issue. They just replied that there is a hacker doing this and that they have called the technician in to rectify the issue. Sadly the issued is never solved and we had to unplug the TV from the socket to prevent anyone from casting the video to our TV. Through the entire stay, i felt so uneasy just being in our room even if the plug is unplugged. I had time sleeping every night even though the bed is super comfortable. Till the very end of our stay, we found out that the issue is still there and anyone on the same WIFI can still cast any videos to our room TV. Honestly we are quite disappointed on how they handle everything. They did not apologize sincerely and follow up with us on this issue. But overall, i don't blame them because this problem came up due to this prankster and security lapse as they have very weak WIFI password and protection. Till today I'm still traumatized by it and have problem sleeping at night because of this. Just wanted to remind everyone to unplug the TV from the socket when you stay at any places with a smart TV as people are able to cast videos even on TVs that are on stand by mode. Really disappointed because i really liked the room and the ambience. I just wished that there was a follow up on the issue or solving the issue properly would have been good so i could have feel comfortable for the rest of the stay.

It really good to have for holiday

The room was very clean and well maintained. The interior design of the lobby and the alley were a bit outdated but that's not an issue if you are travelling for business. The room service was very cheap as well. Everything works well but the AC was not too cold, just cool. Overall this is a recommended hotel that will provide quite a comfortable stay.

A very worst experience stay ever! For the first I requested for early check in its not provided on 22 April 2023. They ask for additional fee and finally I just checked in at 3PM. Second, around 3PM I just ordered Banana Fitters and waiting for 3 hours! I already called them 3times but there is no explanation only wait wait and wait until 3 hours coming. Third, I requested for extend the same room and its so complicated, I should to wait and their forgot that I already told them the day when I arrived. Forth, I pay room extend bill to reception and requested for make up the room once I request since I want to have a rest. And surprisee?!!! Housekeeping coming to my room and I just said that I will inform later for make up the room, then again the BAD things is someone is trying to enter my room without permission, I dont know how can they get my room access, and I just shouted since Im not in full wearing (you can imagine if i didn’t double lock) and he said want to cleaning, I’m shocked then I just said that I didn’t request anything! I trying to sleep and housekeeping just knock the door again for the third times! I just open the door and said there is nothing request for anything and they said from their group I just requested. I dont know how this work!!! I’m very dissapointed and can’t sleep again. I just met their Duty Manager/MOD and told everything and ask for checking CCTV however there is nothing following up and recovery at all. I’m repeater guest and always stay here (you can check in your hotel system)and I think Aston Tanjungpinang is the best hotel but it’s not met my expectation for this current stay! IM VERY SAD AND DISSAPOINTED FOR WHAT WAS HAPPENED!!!!
