Not possible that this is a 4 star The staff were very nice, and generally the hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was really good and staff helpful. But the condition of our room was not suitable, there was no bathroom ventilation and there was black mould throughout the room. We arrived on a day with bad storms and power cuts so just went to bed and left it when we arrived, but we stayed 3 nights and it got worse and worse throughout, we couldn't believe that anyone was letting people stay in the room so we kind of assumed all the rooms were the same and it was jsut a problem with the hotel being older, plus the mould was so obvious there is no way this wouldn't have been noticed by the hotel. There was a strong smell of bleach when we arrived, so its obviously a known problem, but I dont think they should then be putting people in that room. I mentioned this when checking out and offered to show photos, but the lady on reception said she would send someone to go look (there was mould on numerous walls, and if it smelt of bleach on arrival I assume they know this if cleaning every day so dont see why they let people stay in the room anyway?) The access to sun loungers/ reduced rate beach which is mentioned at booking isn't explained, it is a 45 minute walk each way and you still have to pay for the sunbeds. The bus leaves the hotel once a day but again this wasn't explained, so we just went to the beaches and took our towels down on the people's for free rather than hiring sunbeds a long way away. Some things in the hotel were really good, staff, terrace area, breakfast but the room condition is not suitable and I wouldn't recommend, there are a few 4 star hotels in the area so I'd suggest an alternative, though other 0eolle around the hotel seemed fine with their room so maybe we just had a bad one? But then if there is a bad room with mould I dont think they should be providing that to people and charging full price.

The reception smelt awful like overflowing sewerage and there is nowhere to eat at the hotel restaurant. The staff were very kind and room was ok, it was just quite run down and dingy. Very close to the beach with nice views from the balcony

This is a hotel and is well located on the beach. Taomina town is another 20 mins bus ride away. I find the more mature looming lady at the reception not so helpful. Any request or question I have, her stating point is negative or no before even going my request or matter a thought. I had to then rephrase, persude etc to get her to think and change her response to address the matter

Conveniently located very close to the Catania airport and only about 7 minutes by car from the historic centre of Catania (when there's no traffic). Our room was very large by the standards of Italian hotels. Everything was pretty new and fresh.

There were problems with the faucets in the bathroom and there were problems with the hot water. The most unpleasant thing was the noise throughout the evening, which really disturbed our sleep. I won't go there again.

Hotel located right next to the funicular to Taormina. The rooms are simple and slightly dated but perfectly adequate for one night. The hotel has a very nice view of the sea. Free parking is not easy in high season (high traffic area).

The location is convenient and the facilities of the accommodation are good, but there is a lack of consideration for parking.

The hotel is nice, clean, the staff is pleasant. The room doesn’t really have a view, but there is a nice terrace at the hotel overlooking the sea, we only slept in the room. The breakfast was good, I didn’t like the coffee. There is a store nearby.

If you don't stay in a deluxe room, I suggest you consider other hotels of the same price. My ordinary room is very small and has nothing. The equipment is also very old. The key is that there is no view when the window is opened. It is completely different from the advertised sea view. It is not as good as a three-star hotel.
