Came as a family of 3. Got tui flight in and got to hotel at 10.30 to be told the apartment wouldn't be ready until 1, then 2, then at 3. A lot of waiting around. Would advice packing a bag with swim wear etc so you could relax around the pool. Finally got the key at 3.15. Went to collect bags from bag room on my own as hubby and daughter alsleep downstairs as we had been up since 1 for an early flight. Had 3 suitcases, backpack and smaller bags. Bus boy opened door and then watched as I struggled with them all. Not a good start. The hotel is 2 hotels (3 when we had originally booked) and a set of 8 apartment blocks with their own pool. Apart from ours being on the top floor so up 30 steps with the suitcases it was OK. The bathroom had been done up, the bedroom and room was basic but usable. Tips.. you need to pay for a key for the safe at 2 euros a day and 10 euro deposit. You also don't get a kettle which is also 2 euro a day plus 10 euro deposit. No tea, coffee, sugar milk etc in the room so you have to buy them. Not even a bottle of water in the fridge. Once we had got over the initial day we had fun. There's a main pool outside the hotel 1 which we used. We would get there for 9 ish to get sunbeds under an umbrella but if you didn't want an umbrella you could still get sunbeds at 11 no problem. Snack bars serves burgers, nuggets, toasted sandwiches, chips, crisps, salads and fruit. Really good but you do need to have a top on to get the food. Room just inside the hotel for all inclusive drinks, coffee, water, buns, beer, sangria, ice cream which you could get yourselves. Very good so no waiting at the bar. Other drinks could be got at the bar, and menu showed which were included and which cost either a euro or 2 euros. Very close to the sea which we loved. It wasn't cold and you could swim in it very easily. Just outside the complex was a supermarket, shops, bars, kids arcades. Bus stop on sea front to salou, cambrilla, tarragona. Pop in the bus/trip shop to the right of the hotel and grab a card for 10 euros for the bus which covers 10 trips to anywhere. Easier and cheaper than cash on the bus. Loved cambrills, loved salou and went to the shopping centre in tarragona which had shops for all. Overall a great location. More of a 3 star hotel than 4, everyone seemed friendly, food as expected for an all inclusive. Personally wouldn't book again but others thought it was amazing.
Num Hotel

I don't even know where to start this review. all ”no way”. the fact that this is a 4 star hotel is out of the question! booked a suite. the room size is tiny as usual standard in a 4 star hotel. the woman who cleans the rooms constantly pounded on the door and demanded that we leave, as she does not have time to wait for us to leave, as she needs to leave🤦‍♀️ as a result, the room was not cleaned even once in 3 days. the pool is small, it smells strange and there are 2 sun loungers😂😂😂 there is not a single soul in the pool area. the hotel is positioned as a gastronome. breakfast is generally some kind of horror, photos are attached. there is no choice at all. 3-4 plates of an incomprehensible dish and that's it! before that we stayed at the Blaumar hotel, did not like it very much, friends advised me to try this one - the Blaumar result was very good 😂😂😂. of the pros: reception staff respond quickly, ready to help, close to the embankment, convenient parking
Hotel Best Cap Salou

Nice room and bathroom although a little narrow so you can’t pass at the bottom of the beds. Not much clothes storage but free safe and good air conditioning. Reasonably quiet area so good quality sleep apart from the few selfish guests. Nice pool with plenty of beds for the size of the hotel but not so many umbrellas. I’d have liked some background music around the pool but appreciate not for everyone. Food was okay, the normal with a buffet venue with the hot food varied each day/evening and cold being much the same. We stayed half board and they were flexible whether you ate in the day or evening which was brilliant for us. Five minute walk to a lovely small beach and only five to ten minute walk to the lively Salou *****. Lots of very friendly staff and some no as much but none were rude.
Ohtels Les Oliveres

We returned today from a 1 week stay at Ohotel Les Oliveres and I can only say I wish it could've been for longer. The hotel itself is impressive and kept immaculately clean throughout however our stay was made even better by the wonderful staff who go out of their way on a daily basis, to make your stay even better. From the reception staff, bartenders, lifeguards, restaurant and entertainment staff, I can honestly say I have never been made to feel more welcomed and comfortable. We stayed on an 'all inclusive' package and the food each day was varied and delicious. A stones throw away is a beautiful little pebble beach with stunning views along the winding pathway. Yes, it may be away from the hustle and bustle of some holiday resorts but what you have on offer here is more than enough. We have absolutely loved our stay here and would return in a heartbeat. Thankyou for a fabulous holiday everyone.
Hotel Class Valls
4.2/537 Ulasan
To start with : Valls is not a nice place and this hotel is located about 2 km from the town centre, next to an industrial area, the main police station and some low-cost housing buildings. Unfortunately, one of the factories nearby emits a very unpleasant, sulphur smell ... not all the time, but regularly. For that reason, you can't leave the room window open, even if inside it is too hot. Of course, we can't blame the hotel for all that ... But although we were supposed to have a ”Superior” room, we had no air conditioning, no correctly functioning wifi, no correctly functioning refrigerator and no correctly functioning lighting. The manager will tell we should have complained about all this, but we don't travel to spend our precious time complaining : we just want all these things to be OK from the very beginning ! Moreover, cleaning (esp. of the bathroom) is very superficial and communication with the reception before arrival (via e-mail) was rather unfriendly. For the price we paid (about 115 EUR / night without breakfast) this hotel is just not good. Not good at all !

We have been staying at this hotel for almost 8 years now. The pool area is beautiful and the location is ideal for us. The staff are fantastic, we always get such a lovely welcome whenever we arrive. We arrived at the hotel one week after they re-opened for the season and were very surprised to find out how busy they already were. I have never seen such queues for the restaurant in all my years. They have started a new policy of personally seating everyone before returning to assist the next people in the queue, this has definitely had an affect on the growing queue system. I think they either need to add more seating in the restaurant to deal with the volume of people or extend the breakfast and dinner times, which may reduce the queue issue. If it's this busy in My, I dread to think what it will be like in July! The food was just okay, definitely not worth the 30 minute wait to get into the restaurant, and then further queues for the grilling and omelette station when you get in there! They have stopped doing the fresh orange juice, the speciality (themed) section and the food truck which is disappointing (this might have something to do with it being low season). When I was there in October, there were quite a few things broken, tiles, bathroom doors etc which is expected after a busy season but I was surprised to see that these things were still not fixed while they were closed. There have been a lot of staff changes throughout they years, it's always sad to see some of your favourite staff leave but its great to meet the new staff too. We found out that a lot of last years animation team like Dani, Arian and Julio were moved to their sister hotel across the road so we did sneak over there a few times to say hi. The hotel itself is a great and it is fantastic value for money but it's just not what it used to be. It certainly has the potential to be the number 1 family hotel in Salou again but the rooms need to be upgraded, improve the layout of the restaurant and add more tables, they should bring back the themed nights in the restaurant, bring back the special treat stall outside the restaurant when you are leaving (popcorn/candyfloss, sweets, chocolate fountain etc). It's the little extras that can make a nice stay a fantastic one.
