Hotel Tasch dengan Sarapan

Fantastic location right next to the train station and very large modern room which very spacious and comfortable. Couch, armchair and table, large modern bathroom with large bath and underfloor heating, loads of storage space for clothes and cases, and a large balcony overlooking the mountains. Cannot hear trains with doors to balcony closed so a great night’s sleep. Breakfast was also very good. The bistro wasn’t open during our stay but there are plenty of options in Tasch and Zermatt and two lovely little local supermarkets across the road stocking all the main items.

We chose to stay in Tasch as we were travelling back to home in France from the UK and had a car full of suitcases. If we want to visit the Matterhorn again with less luggage then we would definitely stay in Zermatt. Saying that, we chose well with this hotel, being right next to the train station was perfect for our visit with 2 dogs. The staff were very helpful on arrival and provided advice on what to do and where to go. Unfortunately the spa area has been decommissioned but we didn't see this mentioned on the website which is a shame as we needed this after a day walking the Matterhorn. We booked the Alpine Style Deluxe room with balcony which was a good size, modern and the balcony was south facing so it was lovely to sit and soak up some rays. There was plenty of storage space and the bed was comfortable with decent quality pillows and duvet. The only comments are, it would be good to have a fridge in the room to keep water and dog food, the showerhead in our room needs securing as it kept falling off with pressure of water and there was a fine line between warm and scorching water in the shower. We were happy with our room and stay.

Hotels in Zermatt are a bit pricey so we opted for Täsch which is just one train stop away from Zermatt. There is no difficulty going there either because trains are frequent and the ride only takes 10-15 mins - nice view guaranteed. Importantly the hotel is just right across the station - cannot ask for more! Very convenient also because Coop is just right next door. The facilities and rooms are new and modern. Bathroom was spotless. The view from the balcony was great! Staff is friendly and welcoming! Highly recommend!

This is the 2nd hotel we have stayed in Switzerland and we stayed here for one night. The hotel is located about 5-7mins walk from Tasch train station and there are a few restaurants and a mini-supermarket around. The hotel's external view gives one a B&B impression but upon entering, it's a hotel setup! And I am not sure why the hotel receives such a poor rating which I felt it's decent and good. Our room is at 307 (corner room). First, the room though simple structure and layout is nice and cosy. Bed is comfortable and there's a balcony where you can enjoy nature, mountains, lakes and nice scenery over a cup of coffee (though it is a common walk link with all the rooms next door). The TV has many channels and there's a TV channel guide which is good or you will need to spend time in searching for the channels you like to watch. The toilet is nice and got bathtub. The restaurant is nice and cosy and the breakfast spread is satisfactory. Foods were nice too. Service staff were friendly. In terms of areas of improvement, do note that there's only one lift and a small one. So for all the members of our tourgroup to get into our rooms, if we want to take the lift with luggages, it will take a long time. So we only load our luggages in the lift while we walk up the winding stairs. For most of us, the walk is ok though a little inconveniced. And there's no kettle provided in the room and cannot cook even cup noodles for fear in triggering the fire alarm which will fetch a 500 euros fine! The boss, Mr Chon, was very friendly and hospitable. He greeted all of us and even served us. When we left the hotel, he even boarded our coach personally and bid us goodbye! (he even brought the two of us around the entire hotel ground, including the buidling next door that is under renovation in improving it's facilities like constructing the spa, game room etc) Overall, our stay here was satisfactory and pleasant though there are hits and misses but I dont think it deserves a 1 or 2-star rating. It deserves a solid 3-star rating as rightfully awarded to it.

We verbleven in Alpine Budget Rooms. De kamer en dit gedeelte van het hotel is klein maar zeer aangenaam. Het is ”budget” dus we hadden ook niet veel verwachtingen. Toch werd onze kamer elke dag opgeruimd en lagen elke keer propere handdoeken. Het hotel beschikt over zijn eigen parkeergelegenheid ( betalend ) maar je kan je auto nog hele dag laten staan , indien je nog een wandeling zou willen maken na het uitchecken. ( wat we ook deden ) We hadden ook de mogelijkheid na onze wandeling een douche te nemen waarvoor we niet moesten betalen. Straffer ! Er lagen 2 handdoeken al klaar voor ons ! Perfecte service ! Dankbaar voor ! Als ”bugdet” gast heb je ook de mogelijkheid om de whirlpool en infrarood sauna gratis te gebruiken. Spijtig hadden we hiervoor geen tijd meer , maar het is te vermelden waard. Naar Zermatt rijdt elke 20min een trein en ook naar Randa , vanwaar de wandeling start naar de langste hangbrug ( Charles Kounen brug ) en de Europahütte. Kortom ideale plaats wie de drukke te toeristische Zermatt wilt ontvluchten.

Very practical, well located and well equipped accommodation in Täsch. Shops, restaurants and train station nearby. Balcony with a view of the Klein Matterhorn. Uncomplicated key handover. The only thing we missed was an espresso machine.

Accommodation in a flat-building of alpine architecture. It was a 1 + KK apartment stylishly furnished and the kitchen was excessively equipped with utensils and various appliances. Everything clean, tidy. Accommodation without problems and in comfort.

Entering the accommodation was scary because someone else was already living in the apartment when we checked in. The problem of who will live in the apartment was solved in 3 hours between Zermatt, Prague, Täs and Booking, fortunately in our favor. The a
