Hotel 4 bintang Tauranga yang Popular

We stayed 1 night at this motel. The room looked like it had been renovated recently-ish. It was bright, simple and clean. The bathroom was quite good as it had a seperate room for the toilet. The motel had assigned parking. The parking spots were a bit small and I would be concerned if someone brought a big car to park there as they might find it difficult The squeeze around parked cars. Staff were friendly too.

Lebih senang rakan-rakan keluar dan mempunyai tempat letak kereta, di pusat bandar. Pemandangan di luar tingkapnya bagus, pastinya tidak setanding dengan hotel tinggi domestik, tempat ini sudah berskala luar biasa

Great hosts...welcoming. helpful and accomodating. Apartment was clean with all necessary amenities. My husband and I stayed here for 2 months last year, only now getting around to writing a review. Roger and Pah are extremely welcoming, and went out of their way, to make us feel comfortable. We were originally booked for a hotel, at the city centre, but had to change our plans, last minute, and our company booked us here. It turned out to be a much better choice. We could have walked to cbd, and did on days where we had no schedule. Good exercise. Short walking distance to 2 major grocery stores, which is fabulous, since I love to cook. Many fast food places, pizza place being the closest (half block away), walking distance. It turned out to be a better choice for us, as my husband is subject to sleeplessness, when traffic sounds are prevalent. Since we were here for 2 months, it was restfully quiet. We were swimming most days, and even when there were meetings being held, we were not disturbed by the traffic. We even borrowed the barbecue a few times, for sausage sizzles. Just lovely. We were treated like friends, and even the day we left, there were hugs all around, such a gorgeous couple. Their daughter is a lovely thing, great smile, smart as a whip, and hope to hear about her curing cancer, or saving the world someday. Roger, I have tried contacting you, but to no avail. You and Pah, and daughter, take care, have a lovely life, and maybe we will meet again someday...

Pros: CBD convenient location, tidy, spacious, friendly staff, free parking. You can just leave the car at the motel and walk every to go for dinner. Room has nice spa bath. I accidently left my phone and they sent it back to me. Cons: Some family rooms are connected to the next rooms with lockable door. The door is not sound proofed so we could hear the neighbor's very loud snoring and coughing all night. (Another time we stayed we did not have this issue because there was no connecting door) If you want milk you have to ask for it or they will not give it to you. Issues were minor and we would stay again.

We had misfortune of booking and staying at this motel. The motel lady Kerry-Ann behaved really harshly when we were late to check out by 5 minutes. I was travelling with my 80-year old father-in-law and my 4-year old son. Due to some reasons, we got a bit late to check out by few minutes. I requested late check-out by one hour and she refused it strictly (did not allow even 5 minutes). Afterwards, she came at the door at the stroke of 10 o'clock and I said we are almost ready and would leave in few minutes. She started behaving rude and we were literally thrown out of the door with my kid and family. Never had such horrible experience in NZ. Poor manners. She said she took an early check-in because someone paid for that! How can they allow an early check-in just after 30 minutes of check-out? When I asked for early checkin day before my travel, she did not agree easily and said maximum she can do is two hours before 2pm! That means different standards for different customers or just plain lies? The day before my travel, my kid had lot of vomiting and diahrrea and I requested that if she could cancel my booking and refund the amount. She hassled us lot and told she would cancel the booking only if she could onsell. Nowadays, after the covid age, most of the motel owners are flexible enough with bookings and they allow cancellation due to medical emergency! Finally I had to travel with my sick kid because I did not want to lose out the amount. We also saw a big notice inside room threatening for fines if dishes are left unclean, moving furniture etc. The motel also charges 3% surcharge over the total price because of credit card payment and there is no other way to pay (so be ready to shell out that extra 3%)! The motel owner needs to take some lessons on humanity. She needs to learn how to behave with customers. Customers need to be treated with respect. Please be careful while dealing with this motel and be ready well ahead of your check-out time. Otherwise, be ready to be kicked out rudely.
