"We chose the Endsleigh hotel to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. Party of 5 of us. It was perfect in every way, catered for our food intolerances and put us at ease. We had a private cosy dining room, a warm welcome, excellent food and service. My dad was really overwhelmed by it all. Treasured memories for sure. Thanyou to all at Endsleigh."

One Drake Road, Tavistock, Devon

"We recently stayed at One Drake Road hosted by the lovely and very hospitable couple Jack and Iain. We booked the basement apartment as we are Mom and daughter travelling but we like our own rooms. The apartment has a communal area with kitchenette and shared bathroom and a little entertainment are and then two bedrooms both huge and uniquely decorated and utterly charming with so much decor to look, it really reflects Iain and Jacks warm personalities. Breakfast is hosted in the main guest house and is very relaxed and simple which was more than enough for us each day. There is no parking but there are several car parks nearby. We parked at a friend's house so for us was not an issue really. As hosts I can't say enough nice things about Iain and Jack and of course Gracie the dog who is a lovely natured doggy. Tavistock itself is lovely and you can walk everywhere. We will definitely be going back!"

"This was our third stay at the Tavistock House Hotel, as before it was perfect, very clean and quiet with excellent service from Brad and Jill. It does not do evening meals but this is because it is two minutes away from some great restaurants, we had a great meal at Taylors, but in the past we have also had some good meals at the Cornish arms. Breakfasts at the Town House are exceptions and not to be missed. We will certainly try and book again if we are in the area (there are some fantastic gardens (The Garden House and the Wild Side gardens) close by, along with a few NT houses and gardens."

"It was our third visit and as always we had an excellent stay. Staff were very friendly, rooms good and an excellent choice for dinner each evening. I would add that compared to some places we stay it offers great value and is in a wonderful setting"
