Timber Boutique Hotel

We loved our time at the Timber Boutique Hotel. It checked every single box and then some. We arrived at a really weird time (3 am) because we had a weirdly timed flight from Istanbul but the hotel arranged for us to have transportation straight to the hotel as soon as we landed. This is CRUCIAL because taxis are not recommended in Tblisi but there are all sorts of sketchy touts in your face offering taxi rides. There are several adorable cats in the property who preside over the hotel and supurr-vise its operation. There’s an elevator and the rooms are a good size with good amenities and great shower with hot water and good water pressure. The staff are so kind and helpful and will do anything they can to make the stay comfortable. It is very close to grocery stores and metro but also quiet (our room was on the 3rd floor). The breakfast area is pretty and the breakfast itself is substantial. I would 100% stay here again!

Amazing! Best hotel breakfast I ever had, with different salads, cheese, cold cuts, and occasionally soups. Friendly staff, friendlier couple of resident cats. The hotel is new and stilish in a quiet, for Tbilisi standards, area. The area is residential poor neighbourhood, but a 15 mins walk from the old town, and we always felt perfectly safe walking at night. Bolt taxis are also cheap and convenient.

This place was a good stay for us. We had a car so the location wasnt an issue. Pros: Breakfast was good with evwryday something different. Rooms are big enough and so are the toilets. They were clean. Safe location as it was just close to the Latvian Embassy. Friendly staff. Rooftop breakfast hall was a nice site to sit and enjoy your 1st meal. Cons: Bit far from the center with a walk which takes 25mins to reach the attractions. Nothing to do around the hotel and even the area is quite. Which can be good for people who prefer calmness and isolation. They dont have covered parking. You just park behind the hotel by the side of the road which is the case mostly everywhere in Tbilisi. The place does justice to the price you pay. Nothing fancy but easy checkin and check out. Airport transfer can be costly but then Tbilisi is changed to a farelt expensive city these days. This was pur 2nd visit and we could feel the difference.

The hotel was very comfortable and the staff very helpful. Aircon was welcome because Tbilisi had got hot. For us as cycle tourists the hotel is very convenient but if you want to walk to the centre of Tbilisi it is about 30 minutes away. The resident cats were also very nice!

I was really obsessed with this hotel and his stuff. The most cozy, clean and moody hotel ever I stayed. Everyone there is so amazing, helpful and nice. Breakfasts were also incredibly fine. So much choice for everyone. Definitely will come back soon. 100/10 recommendation.

Thank you so much for everything TIMBER BOUTIQUE HOTEL. We stayed 6 nights and 1 day. All staff are very friendly and polite. Especially to Ms. Mariam, you’re so kind, beautiful, and very friendly. You help me and my husband a lot, you teach us how to commute with subway, we ask about the taxi policy etc. and you suggest better if we will use the subway it was so fun. We enjoyed a lot. And the room, complimentary bottled water and the breakfast very delicious. This hotel very cute, rustic design, modern, very cozy, very clean, fresh, nice smell and the view of the V-floor so amazing and beautiful. Me and my husband we love so much. That’s why we recommend to our friend, she stayed 3 nights and she was amazed and happy. The location is very near to subway and market. We appreciate so much everything from this hotel. Very Unique and peaceful. Highly recommend. Excellent service, good customer service and care, polite, kind, amazing, the best, and enjoying. Well, to start with, this hotel is located near the Latvia embassy and a tower, which is seen from far away, that you can always find it. Also, it is about 7 minutes from the subway station 300 Aragveli. Next thing that appealed to me about this hotel was breakfast, served on the upper terrace with a view, which was included in the price.  And now about disappointment:  Doors in the room, I was given was hard to open, since it staked halfway;  no room to store your clothes (considering the fact that I had to stay for more that a week), you can see it on the photo; no seat, except for the bed; no cover blanket on the bed, that you have to seat, put clothes, etc. on the white sheet; no bra light at the bed, you can not read in bed; no place to put your cosmetics in the bathroom, you can see it in the photo; one day there was a problem with water in my room. I had no water at all, however it was fixed within an hour.  And no delivery to this region. Anyway, the personnel is nice. However, sometimes after the room was cleaned, I still found a bin full of trash in the bathroom. Finally, I discovered that my room is different from those on web-site photos, therefore, I guess, I was simply unlucky to get room 117. And I think you have to consider these facts, if you are given that room.  Also, when I was leaving, I had no help from the hotel personnel with my luggage, so a taxi driver brought it out. And he also told me, that it was undeasant for a hotel of such price. Well, that is simply what I have heard.  I hope this review helps new customers. 

My booking was canceled 2 hours before checking in. And was diverted to another hotel which was in the one of the worst areas in the city. Never again dealing with these people.
