We stayed in our hired campervan for 3 nights. It is a very clean and well maintained site with nice views over the lake, a 15 minute walk from the facilities of Te Anau. The shower blocks are very clean and warm and well equipped with hairdryers etc. Staff were extremely knowledgeable and helpful, for example for our walk to the Kepler Track nearby, and in booking a Milford Sound Cruise for us at no extra cost.

We chose this place as the sites were separated by hedging to give some privacy. There was no face to face contact with any staff during the stay, only a map left in a lock box, and we were required to pay by cash left in an envelope. The site we were given was right in front of another caravan who had left their car on the site. No one on site to sort this out, so had to call the owner to get moved which we were. Facilities were a bit unloved, a lot of appliances not working in the kitchen and no hot water so we ended up doing dishes at our own site. All 5 hand driers in the ladies were out of order. Suspect this is covid related due to lack of money, however it wasn't a cheap place. The lack of staff on site isn't particularly helpful, there is no reason why staff couldn't be behind a screen, and at least be available to take electronic payment. There wasn't particularly anything bad about the place and would possibly stay again, however once visitor numbers increase I would expect some improvements to be done or prices to be reduced

Great motel. BIG living area and bedrooms, perfect for families. Very clean and tidy, lovely assistant manager. Close to town and Doc centre on a lovely quiet street. We booked at the last minute, and the manager was really helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent for a motel ! It has A jacuzzi 😅 in the room. Heated towel rack snd nice amenities ! I would recommend this place to all travellers to Te Anau ! The car parks right outside the room snd the kitchen supplies are perfect ! Dont miss BEER the friendly burmese cat st the reception !!

Pourquoi nous vendre ce que nous n’aurons pas ? L’emplacement est magnifique et le logement est joliment décoré. Mais il ne faut pas nous faire croire que l’hébergement est un havre de paix, alors que de lourds travaux si t en cours et que la terrasse dite « privative » est dédier à 6 chambres. Et lorsque quelqu’un s’y installe, les chambres qui donnent sur la terrasse sont immédiatement impactées puisqu’il n’est plus possible de garder les rideaux ouverts, ni d’être au calme (on croirait que les convives sont dans la chambre). Et puis pourquoi nous enjoindre de réserver au restaurant (70 dollars entre/plat ou 85 pour entrée/plat/dessert - c’est correct mais ça ne vaut pas ce prix là!) en omettant de nous indiquer qu’une cuisine collective est à disposition ? Bref, on est à la limite du mensonge et les chambres sont plus proches du niveau auberge de jeunesse que de celles d’un hôtel. C’est donc beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c’est. A bannir

Warm, spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable I've had on this trip, the heat pump had the room toasty on arrival. Kitchenette was perfect and had everything I needed to cook a meal. Gorgeous view of the lake and town, very close to the bird sanctuary and and easy walk to the centre. Feels separate from the holiday park and a really good value for money deal.
