Our stay was such a blast that we decided to come back in the end of our trip. Everything is just perfect, starting from the gorgeous staff to the modern, luxurious rooms and the delicious food. The manager of this amazing place really has a deep understanding of hospitality and comfort. This was the most memorable place we stayed in during our trip, absolutely worth to stay in!

First of all - thanks to Raila and all the team! Raila helped so much with taxi from and to the airport, trip to Similan islands (our boat was one of the first at the main viewpoint so we did not have to elbow with others), recommended to visit a market in Khao Lak. The team was always ready to help with any request. The hotel is small and cozy, 50 steps (literally) from the beach. The second floor rooms with a seaview and the sound of the waves. The room was clean, with all necessary features and even more - there were beach mats, beach towels, bottle of water (every day), little hairdryer, umbrellas, small shampoo and shower gel. The bed was comfortable. Tasty was the breakfast, included a choice of eggs main part, yogurt with banana, fruits, tea/coffee, little juice and water. The beach is rather wide, not overcrowded and shows magnificent sunsets. The only disappointing thing is that the beach area is not as clean as it could be. There are a massage point and fresh fruit drinks near on the right (massage 350-500 bat, coconut 50 bat, fruit shakes 70-80 bat). The rest part of the beach (to the left) also provides these activities, there is also a outdoor surf club with an artificial waves. There is a beach restaurant just next to the hotel with all the most popular dishes. In 5 minutes walk there is a market street with souvenir shops, restaurants, exchange points and supermarkets. It seemed too stressing for me to go there by the high-traffic road, there is also a way through the beach (right behind the surf club) though. My strong recommendations for this hotel! Truly hidden gem)

we have now been to the third sunset resort. a small pretty hotel with a great location, great staff and very attentive employees. The terrace rooms are very good in a great location and have a priceless view of the sea. The massage on the beach is fantastically beautiful. the breakfast is ala card at the moment because there are few guests. But that's completely ok because you don't have to rely on buffet times and everyone only orders what they eat. we will return there again as it has become a home for us in Khaolak. everyone was so grateful that we were there as guests. it was a wonderful time here. 2 weeks unforgettable! Greetings from room 1203 Ivonne and Ralf Wir waren jetzt im dritten Mal im Sunset Resort. ein kleines hübsches Hotel mit toller Lage, tollem Personal und sehr aufmerksamen Mitarbeitern. Die Terrassenzimmer sind sehr gut in toller Lage und haben einen unbezahlbaren Meerblick. Die Massage am Strand ist traumhaft schön. Das Frühstück ist im Moment ala Karte, weil nur wenige Gäste da sind. Das ist aber völlig ok, da man sich nicht auf Buffetzeiten verlassen muss und jeder nur das bestellt, was er isst. Wir werden wieder dorthin zurückkehren, da es in Khaolak zu einem Zuhause für uns geworden ist. Alle waren so dankbar, dass wir als Gäste da waren. Great location on a lovely beach. Only 5 minutes into Khao Lak in a taxi (100bhts) or 150bhts for 4 people. Rooms were very spacious. The bed was very hard BUT ask reception and they will have a mattress topper put on straight away, this was much better. Bathrooms were a little dated but everything worked. Found it a little odd to have the wardrobes, kettle and fridge in the bathroom but they are in a cupboard so had no issues with it. The aircon kept the rooms super cool. Pools and bar were lovely, although it was a bit of a sunbed challenge to get a towel on while we were there. The massages in the hotel were super. All the staff were helpful, and seemed very happy We would most definitely go back there, a very relaxing, tranquil, peace of heaven

Amazing hideaway spent 5 nights here after travels g Thailand and it was wonderful from start to finish . Breakfast is beautiful anything you want they can do , right on the beach and so quiet and many guests on the 2nd , 3rd and more visits . Staff all great and always happy to chat no fitting for sun beds on the beach or round the pool . We used the spa service excellent Walking distance to khao lak and restaurants on route . Would highly recommend this place

Wonderfully peaceful and laid back hotel. The staff are wonderful each and everyone we met. They truly cannot do enough to make your holiday special. We had a Grande Deluxe room on the top floor overlooking the swim up pool. It was perfect! The bed was huge as was the bath. Bottled water was replenished every day. The room was also cleaned spotlessly daily. Breakfast was a choice of fruits/yoghurts, eggs/bacon/tomatoes or Thai stir fry. Something for everyone! Bars are dotted around the entire resort. Obviously they charge hotel prices but they all have their own happy hour (actually it’s 2hrs!!). Time it right and a bottle of beer is 70baht and cocktails 130baht. It’s a 10 minute walk into Khao Lak and the start of a 1.5km ***** of shops and restaurants. Alternatively there will always be taxis waiting outside the hotel entrance. You can get these for 100Baht (£2.20). It’s 200Baht if you fancy a trip to the market which is a couple of km further. We left early at 5am and were provided with a breakfast box to take with us which was a nice touch. Overall we loved this hotel and will definitely return. Kha Lak is the perfect place to visit and Moracea is the perfect hotel to base yourselves. Thank you for making our holiday special.

We arrived at the HotSpring Beach Resort at the end of June '23, just a week after a new General Manager had started his new role - something we found out because he was actively meeting and greeting guests and will obviously be a great asset to the resort. He is overseeing a huge number of renovations and upgrades due for completion by the end of 2023 - and so any older reviews that speak of the resort needing some attention will now likely be redundant as the place is undergoing a major - and impressive - facelift. We were thrilled by our spacious room, the fantastic hot spring pools and the excellent contrast of the icy 'chill' pool (a rarity in Thailand, where refreshingly cold water to dip in is not so common). The staff were friendly and courteous throughout, and the grounds all the way to the beach are quite wonderful. Of course, in any transformation there is always something that still needs tweaking. Our two recommendations to the resort would be to enhance the taste and the number of vegetarian options of breakfast, which was generally a little on the bland side (though we ate two a la carte dinners at the resort restaurant which were outsanding and quite delicious). The other recommendation is to keep the beach free of the relentless flow of plastic and other garbage which the sea washes up. Although this is so common everywhere, and certainly not the fault of the resort, the beach gets a daily deposit of bottles and other plastics, and it would be great to see some efforts being made to collect and tidy the beach area as it's not huge, and this would certainly be an hour well-spent. Overall, highly recommended for a stay here - it's a unique place with such relaxing waters and the sense you're in the middle of a tropical forest with secret thermal springs just waiting to be discovered. If you're there in low season of June/Jule like us, then you won't see too many other people around and you can enjoy a lot of peace and quiet. Definitely worth a visit!

Quiet location on Natai beach. Good size room, huge comfortable bed, new center ceiling aircon. I guess these pool access rooms are renovated recently. Staff is really nice and service minded. Breakfast was little disapointment. Sausages, becon etc. were all cold. Many food were finished and not filled in 30 minutes time. Hygiene low level. Many people took food by hands because no proper tools or containers. Would like to see rice soup in breakfast while in Thailand.

Stayed here from 4th - 11th April recently for a family wedding which took place just up the coast on Natai beach at a villa. We stayed in a beach bungalow which was in the surrounding area to the main hotel complex. My understanding is the hotel have acquired these villas which were part of another complex and recently joined them to the hotel. The outside area was beautiful with gorgeous flowers and plants and cute paths leading straight to the beach. The room was very spacious with great air con and facilities were good - although we did not have a balcony we had sun chairs brought to our room so we could sit outside. Room was cleaned well and fresh towels, tea, coffee and water etc every day. Only downside was the bed which was uncomfortably hard although enormous! Missing in the main room was a mirror but this was fixed when we asked for one - a full length mirror was brought to our room which was a necessity to enable me to style my hair. The hotel pool which backs onto the stunning beach was a gorgeous spot to sit with a lovely breeze from the sea and looked so pretty as sunset drew in with beautiful tree lights. There is one main restaurant where breakfast is served which backs right onto the beach. It was uncomfortably hot inside - could do with fans to make the dining experience more comfortable. As the surrounding area is extremely quiet you need to taxi out to local restaurants, the hotel restaurant menu was quite limited although most of the meals we ate both during lunch and dinner were lovely although a bit repetitive. Breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food and we enjoyed this very much. There are kayaks, surfboards you can hire from the beach hit by the beach and table tennis/boules also. Pool/beach towels are readily available from here too. In all, a lovely hotel in a stunning location on the most beautiful beach. A great get away from it all hotel for the perfect beach retreat holiday. Would definitely return to this hotel if I was in this area again.

PPengguna TetamuMoved from our big expensive hotel to TuaProd Home because it was so much cheaper, a short drive to the pier for diving, and we are pretty happy with just a room to sleep in as we are seldom hanging around a resort. We've been travelling Thailand now for 6 months staying all sorts of accomodation from empty resorts to Bkk hotels to more basic 700 baht-or-less rooms for a night or two. Tuaprod is **easily** the best we have stayed at in that last category. We got it a bit cheaper than advertised without breakfast (we are out early each morning). Don't be put off by the low price - the little cabin is comfortable, quiet, has a nice bathroom with everything actually working (a rarity in Thailand), has nice quiet aircon (another rarity in Thailand), has a super comfy bed, is bug and mosquito-free in the room, and is situated in a lovely garden/palm plantation down a 200m driveway from the main road. There are no barking soi dogs at night, and no annoying rooster(s) in the morning, which is unbelievable really. Also nice is that sitting here on the patio in the 'bush' really reminds me of what Thailand was like 25 years ago, when most accomdation was a hut of some sort in the greenery. It just feels very authentic Thailand. I love it! Highly rated. We'll definately come stay here again.

The manager of this amazing place really has a deep understanding of hospitality and comfort. This was the most memorable place we stayed in during our trip, absolutely worth to stay in!

Some dusty are were found at the corner of the bed but the bedsheets was clean.very helpful staffs from reception to restaurant. Having dinner for 2 night at the restaurant- taste quite good for Thai foods. Star pool was amazing. PPengguna Tetamuwe came here from phi phi to a beach bungalow so i was expecting something very beautiful. we checked in and a buggy took us to our bungalow, however the bungalow was fine on first glances., lovely outdoor shower, it was a big room bed was on like a wooden platform so we found it difficult to get on and off we are both in our 60s. view was lovely over the pool to the sea. the bungalow outside was a bit tired could do with some TLC the grounds to the resort were full of leaves no one seemed to bother cleaning them up. breakfast was just carnage if you wanted noodles etc not a problem but anything remotely English all the hot plates were empty first morning we couldn't even get a table so we abandoned it, second morning we went a bit earlier 8.30 and we did manage to sit down but no hot food so we got toast and boiled egg but these wasn't cooked properly so just left tried to speak to someone about it but not enough staff so didn't bother with breakfast again. there seems to be a few new buildings to this hotel so maybe they have more rooms than there is dining tables. we were only here for 4 nights so it wasn't really an issue for us we just went to one of the beach shacks. outside the hotel was lots of eating and shops very well located so always ate out. around the pool there is a culture where everyone puts towels on beds at 6.30-7 am so by 8 am no beds left this is a pet hate of mine that's why we don't holiday in Europe so i was furious when i saw this. we did end up in a row first morning over the beds but the pool guy sorted it for us. all in all we enjoyed our time in Khaolak but on reflection we would not use this hotel again it just didn't suit us

PPengguna TetamuOur stay at Merlin Khao Lak was pretty great. We had a week there, and sincerely enjoyed the feeling of staying in a contained and nicely taken care of rain forest by the beach.
The location was nearly perfect, but the beach itself wasn't very swimmable (beginning of rain season, to be fair). Fortunately, there were other beaches on the same coast that were nicer during the same time of year, so we did get time in the sea water. Even without sea swimming, the ambience from the waves and the sunsets made the beach plenty nice for us at Merlin. There is also a variety of nicepy kept pools to enjoy, though I typically don't enjoy pools personally.
Service/food were both nice as well. The staff was pleasant enough, but it did feel weird that an ecologically minded resort had the least meat/dairy alternatives of any of the several resorts/hotels we stayed at. I found ordering curries with no seafood or meat simple though, and they were mostly still good. The massaman curry was a miss, but everything else I tried was quite good for resort food!
We really loved the touch of the room's default tv channel being an info channel about the resort's wildlife and maintenance. That, plus the several info booklets allowed us to have a more guided and knowledgeable experience while sightseeing on the exceptional grounds. It was really fun running into others who were also just having a look around and waiting to see a different animal pop up.
We enjoyed our stay. Next time we'd likely come back, while also spending some time up the coast a bit.

Из минусов-в очень немногих номерах лесенки в бассейн. У нас не было. Неудобно вылазить из бассейна, можно подскользнуться. Подушки очень высокие и твёрдые. Я так и не нашла для себя удобную, хотя их четыре. В ванне очень мало геля и шампуня(наливают по запросу по одной маленькой бутылочке). Кондиционера для волос нет. Одно маленькое мыльце.

The hotel has private beach, spa & massage , cafe, restaurant and bar.
Nice and big public pool (some suite come with private pool). This place not crowded as in Phuket city . Suit for Solo, Family and with buddies .
