25주년 결혼 기념으로 하와이를 선택하고 5월부터 비행기와 평소 묵고 싶었던 힐튼을 예약했다. 그런데 남편이 일이 생겨 못가게 되어 취소하려했더만 숙소가 저렴한 대신 환불불가였다. 250여만원 날아가는게 아까워 앞으로 800만원을 더쓰는 하와이에 오게 되었다. 딸과 둘이 오게 되어서 렌트카를 대여 못한게 나중에 화근이되었다. 힐튼은 신도시급으로 와이콜로나 빌리지란 큰 성안에 콘도형, 호텔형, 골프클럽리조트와 수영장 음식점 쇼핑센터등 마을 처럼 구성되어 무료 셔틀 버스로 다닐수있었다. 우리 숙소는 저렴한 이유가 골프클럽 안에 있는 리조트로 메인호텔이나 퀸스마켓등 번화가와 걸어서 30분 정도 떨어져 있었다. 울 숙소는 그중 24동이라 클럽 하우스에서 골프장카트 타고 다시 5분여 달려야 했다. 카트 운전에 방까지캐리어 운반 팁5불 지불했다. (체크인할때 보증금 35만원정도 결재하고 체크 아웃후 몇일후 문제없으면 카드취소후 리조트피 15만원 정도를 재결재한다) 클럽하우스에선 피자와 햄버거와 주류정도만 먹을수 있어 메인 장소인 퀸스마켓에 가서 장을 봐와야 했다.모든 상품엔 부가세비포함이니 부과세 포함시키고 무조건 팁 18 더하니 물가는 살인적이 였다. 호텔후기에서 왜 마트에서 장봐다 먹는지 비로소 깨닫게 되었다. 돈주고 사먹을래도 딱히 사먹을 맛집이나 종류가 없긴하다. 어째든 클럽에서 피자와 햄버거 맥주 칵테일 먹었는데 9만원나왔다. 숙소인 클럽리조트는 둘이 묵기에 넓고 쾌적하고 청결하고 좋았다. 냉장고엔 얼음나오고 코나 커피도 두봉지 있고 커피메이트 식기 도구 충분한수건 용식용품등 갖춰져 있었다. 넷플릭스가 되는데 내 가입 아이디로 봐서 호텔 아이디면 무료인지는 모르겠다. 만타가오리 업체는 클럽하우스 까지 픽업와서 무사히 마쳤지만 문제의 사건은 다음날 별보기 투어가 늦게 끝나 셔틀 버스를 놓쳤기에 발생했다. 10시30분에 퀸스마켓 스타벅스앞에 내려주었는데 다 문닫고 비는 추적추적 내리기 시작하고 그 큰동네엔 울둘만 덩그러니. . .우버택시는 5대째 놓치고 딸은 20분쯤 되니 걸어가자 하고 일본에서 행불된 청년도 생각나고.그래 빨리 걸어 가자 생각하고 5분쯤 걷자니 평소 길잘찾던 딸도 당황했는지 방향 못잡고 귀신나올것 같은 오솔길에서 다시 대로변으로 나와 우버택시 천신만고 끝에 잡아 숙소로 돌아왔다. 젊고 친절한 백인 우버 택시기사 위험할수도 있다고 걱정까지 해주어 고마웠고 팁을 25%주었다. 하여간 하와이는 계획부터 역경이나 잘헤쳐 나가고 있는듯. 4일간 액티비티 온종일 투어를 해서 유명한 돌고래 있는 수영장도 못가고 빌리지를 거이 이용 못하고 잠만잔게 너무도아쉬었다. 그래도 리조트피는 15만원 정도 내야했다. 참고로 코나 공항에서 숙소까지는 무료이나 다시 코나 공항으로 가는날은 유료버스고 미리 예약해야 한다.예약 못해 우버타고 갔다.첫날 코나 공항에서 숙소가는길도 운전자가 소통이 안되 이리저리 우릴 싣고 다니더라. 하와이엔 영어가 능숙하지 못한 유색인종직원도 꽤있으니 반드시 제대로 소통하길. 길 넓고 안복잡하고 저속으로 다니니 여자도 꼭 차 랜트하삼요.

Kristy, the pre-arrival ambassador, is the reason our stay was so memorable! She had emailed me prior to our stay to ask if I had any requests. I mentioned my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary. I also mentioned that we were staying 3 nights total. The first 2 nights were under my name and the last night under my wife's name due to a free night award that she had in her Marriott Bonvoy account. I have Platinum elite status and one of the perks is complimentary breakfast for 2 each morning. I asked if she could extend the breakfast benefit to the 3rd night under my wife's name. She had no problem doing that even though Bonvoy rules say the hotel is not required to do that. I had also asked Kristy if we could stay in the same room for all 3 nights. I had been upgraded to a Na Hale wing room for the 2 nights under my name due to Suite Night Awards that I used. Kristy was able to get us to stay in the same upgraded room for the 3rd night under my wife's name for no additional charge. That was really nice. She went above and beyond. At check-in I was surprised that Kristy personally met my wife and I and walked us to our room. She also provided us with some cookies as a gift for our anniversary. She seems to care about her job and is the reason I'm writing this review. The 2nd floor room we had in the Na Hale wing was very nice. The Na Hale wing is a separate small building closer to the ocean with 14 rooms The bathroom was huge with 2 sinks and a LARGE walk in shower. We had a balcony looking at the fish pond and ocean. It was beautiful! Be aware that there is no elevator in the Na Hale wing, but that was not an issue for us. We ate the continental breakfast buffet each morning which was included for being a Platinum Bonvoy member. There was a $12/person upcharge for the full breakfast, but the continental breakfast was more than sufficient. The continental breakfast had fruits, breads, and pastries. It even included hot items such as waffles, pancakes, and one meat. BE AWARE that the breakfast area is outdoors and the birds are not afraid of people. They will fly on your table and eat your food if you aren't careful. Don't leave the table unattended with food on it. The downside to everything is the $30 resort fee. I absolutely hate resort fees and find them to be an easy way for hotels to get extra revenue. It did include a list of things including daily activities and 2 drinks. I knew of the resort fee beforehand, so it was no surprise. Overall a great stay and we would come back. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Kona on our 4th night and it wasn't comparable. The Waikoloa Beach location of the Marriott is much better than being in Kona.

The room was big enough for a group of 5 people and equipped with all the kitchen stuff needed for us to prepare quick meals after long days. Ocean Club was nice. I loved the gym right in front of the ocean, which made me feel like running on heaven. There were also beach gears and collapsible chairs, but we knew them stored in storage outside the door on the checkout. Beach towels are provided to guests at the office. There was no housekeeping during my stay of 3 nights. I had to vacuum by myself. 2 cocktoaches came inside the room on the first night, and their dried parts were founded beneath the sofa, but we took care of them. It was okay. Except some minors. I enjoyed staying at Hali'i Kai.staffI met were all kind and sweet. Thanks. I would stay here again if I come visit Bigisland.

大きなリゾートホテルでびっくりしました トラムが走っていましたが、ボートは運行していませんでした 日本語で問い合わせができるサービスは　３月で終了していました 近くのショッピングモールまでのシャトルバスは片道5ドルだったので徒歩で（20分ちょっと）行きました お部屋は広々していました　浴槽の水の流れがイマイチでした お部屋からは　ゴルフ場と海が見えました 敷地がひろいので　朝早く起きて散歩しましたが気持ちよかったです 夕日を見るポイントが敷地の地図に書いてあって　本当に素晴らしい夕日を見ることができました 海亀もイルカもいて、楽しいプールもあり　素敵な時間を過ごすことができました

This was a great 2bd suite with a full kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry room and large patio overlooking wide expanses of golfing greens with another dining table and 2 lounge chairs on the deck. This was so comfortable for our family of 4. I appreciated the separate beds for each of my kids and the ability to run the washer/dryer whenever we needed. The extra room, less crowded grounds and free parking made this a no brainer over the Hilton Village resort area, which we had access to (also with free parking for us but there is also a free shuttle running every 1/2 hr). There was maid service daily (we paid the regular room rate, not a timeshare deal) which we used sporadically over 8 days. They were very responsive using the text feature, and they did a great job. I liked this so much better than a standard hotel room. This is a great value for this area.
