Terokai Ulasan Tetamu Hotel di The Lime

Radisson Grenada Beach Resort

We stayed here a week, and have been so bitterly disappointed. It’s got the Radisson name but that’s it. Dirty rooms , we didn’t even have a duvet cover on our bed. No towels available for 2 hours after we checked in. Even though we checked in at around 5pm. Not great if you’ve had a 12+ hour flight and just want a shower on arrival. Only decaf coffee in paper cups in the rooms too which sucks if you love a coffee in the morning. The pool has loads of holes, I cut my foot on one. The bar pool is falling apart. Neglected. Breakfast is the same thing every day and there is one server for everyone so you have to line up and wait which is quite annoying. Not sure why guests can’t just dish up themselves. However, wait staff outside were really lovely and pleasant. Extremely rude staff and terribly slow service at bar and restaurants. One of the bar staff looked really annoyed and uninterested when we tried to order anything. No security, so there is loads of people coming off the beach and shouting at you while you’re eating or “relaxing”. We went to other hotels on this beach and it doesn’t happen - apparently Radisson is a hot spot as the security is so lax. We saw many people being sworn at etc. security sit in an office on their phones all day. We did speak to management but they were more interested in what was happening on their phones. We saw customers being shouted at by bar staff as well. Basically all the things people have written on reviews that they say they’re going to fix. They don’t. Really sad we wasted our time and money here. Staff and management need better training in manners and customer service. They might apologise but that won’t get your time or money back
Coyaba Beach Resort

We had a wonderful 7 night all- inclusive stay at Coyaba Beach GROUNDS: The grounds were beautiful and well kept. The resort is right on Grand Anse Beach. POOL and BEACH: The resort has a pool with a pool bar. The beach is long, great for walks. The water is clear and calm. Plenty of lounge chairs available. ROOM: The room was spacious and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked very well. We had a nice 2nd floor room with ocean view (243) The room has a kettle, fridge, table and chairs in the room with a lot of storage space. Balcony with chairs and tables as well. FOOD: The resort has 2 restaurants. The buffet has a lot of selections, we loved the salted fish and fish fry and bake options at breakfast. There are daily specials for dinner so there’s plenty of variety The staff was very welcoming and accommodating. We had a great time and can’t wait to visit again.
Spice Island Beach Resort

This well laid out hotel with accommodation on either side of public eating and entry areas. Everything basically faces towards the magnificent Grand Anse Beach giving views over the water to St George's. There can be few better gardens in the entire Caribbean than those that spread across the accommodation. The meet and greet was first class. We were in rooms 51 and 23, both having plunge pools in their private gardens. Room 23 was larger, with a private fully stocked bar, a very comfortable fully king sized bed, spotlessly presented and upkept by the team. The bar team was brilliant, fronted by Dexter with the likes of the ever happy Jeron and Kevin. Seriously good guys. The breakfast was a joy with beautiful fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereals etc and if you wanted, a good variety of hot dishes. Lunch and dinner were quite different with perhaps lunch providing more local dishes. Do try the Goat Roti if available. The serving teams were in the main most helpful and even smiled at their guest's poor jokes! Whilst the food from the kitchen could take time, the upside was it felt freshly cooked. If not enjoyed, it was sent back, and senior staff would come out afterwards asking what went wrong and how could they rectify. The concierge headed by Elizabeth, went way beyond being just helpful, she basically enabled our holiday. She organised everything off site, including a historic walking tour to St George's, a food tour across the island which included stopping for fresh coconut, snow cones, together with lunch and snacks etc. There is a barbecue but with the best will in the world the food is much better at the hotel. We tried several restaurants, and our preferences were 'Sails' overlooking the water, 'Dexter's' (the ex-Calabash chef's home) and Calabash itself, a totally different experience to Spice Island. If I have left anything out, forgive me. This is a most delightful hotel well worthy of five stars, giving the most relaxing times under a constant 25 to 30 degrees of heat. will we be visiting again? Yes.

I am very happy we chose this hotel, even though it may not be for everyone. However you get what you pay for and more. (If you want high end experience go to Silversand, but be prepared to pay 5-times more) It is a low-key and simple hotel, with aging room interior, yet clean with a very friendly owner and enthusiastic guests. Basic amenities (like beach towels and toiletries) are provided and the front desk kindly arranged a taxi to the airport (though you may want to prenegotiate the price if you are stingy) The hotel has its own beautiful beachfront with chairs, no crowd, great sunsets and a nicer pool than what I expected. Yes; sadly their restaurant is closed, but there are several restaurants and a supermarket within 3 minutes walk: none of them are of US high life standards, but they provide what you need, and the best restaurant that we found on the island is also in easy walking distance on the beach. Also the bus stop is with 3 minutes that takes you into the capital (and you don’t want to miss that busing experience if you traveled this far)
