The centre of Byron Bay is 25 minutes' drive from Sanctuary in The Pocket and it is a 10-minute drive from the local surf beaches of South Golden and New Brighton. All cottages feature full kitchens and each has air-conditioning and a wood fired combustion heater. Netflix and free WiFi are provided. All guests have access to the gardens at the property. We stayed as a couple 6 months ago when Lisa & Mike first took ownership of the resort. We loved it so much we came back with 5 couples to share a once in a lifetime experience with all the trimmings…..relaxation, amazing ponds, pools and gardens, chef styled kitchens and a full sized pizza oven! We had an impromptu pizza party which was a total hit with everyone! We have been so inspired by this trip we plan to return soon!

A beautiful place, set on 5 acres, very peaceful, great cottages with all the latest appliances , very comfy beds, Lisa and Mike made us feel right at home, lots of different plants to see and chickens, bee hives, thankyou for a perfect stay

After a great day of hinterland driving we were greeted by Lisa & Mike. After settling in and some drinks we had an great night eating the best wood fired pizzas in their own oven prepared by Giuseppe. There is also Teppanyaki or BBQ options to choose from, so make sure you tee it up before you arrive. The next day in the spa was very relaxing after a late night with some great red wine. We'll be back again soon.
