Hotel berhampiran Chabad of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki

As I was on a business travel I cared only about quiet room to recover, the receptionist fulfilled my request and even more, I got an option of a late checkout at no extra cost. The breakfas was very good, the onle thing I was disappointex with was the drinks from sirup callex juices (in Greece!). Overally I am very happy with my stay, altough redecoration that takes place around the lobby area gives an odd first impression :)

Its location, albeit not with a great view and quite noisy, was very convenient and easy to connect to the rest of the city-centre, because of the public transport stops nearby. The room was spotless and the house-keeping was excellent. The only issue with the room was its not having hot water all the time and the WiFi being unstable, at times. The breakfast was quite good and offered plenty of options; the dining hall was beautiful. The staff was very kind and helpful and provided an understanding listening ear for any issues there might had been. The reason for the 4 stars, instead of 5, is that I would prefer that there were more languages spoken in the hotel, to make it more accessible. We arrived at 9.30 in the morning from the airport, very tired, expecting to wait for checking in till afternoon. To our big surprise we got the key and the room right away and could catch up on some sleep before venturing into town. Not many hotels would do it, so it was a great welcome! The good vibes about this hotel continued for us for the next few days. Breakfast was great. Vasili, Ronaldo, Anastasia, Helen, everyone in the hotel staff was great, extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. We couldn't wish for better service. The room was comfortable, very high tech, everything controlled by remote device. Location is good, on the edge of the city centre but close to the train station and transportation. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Thessaloniki. THANKS ONOMA

This hotel is so clean and friendly. The rooms are small but oh the beds!! So comfy i didnt want to get up. The bathrooms are also small and not a lot of room to move about but adequate for one :) the room was made up every day. We had a balcony that again small but adequate for 2 to sit out on. This is a city break hotel. There are no beaches near by, it would be 35 mins in a car to the nearest. We spend 6 nights here. We found a lovely place called the AVENUE by the umbrellas design. It had amble seating outside and was very popular by locals. It overlooked the sea, we recommend going here if you want to relax. The breakfast was continental with some hot food but not much, scrambled egg and mini sausages. There was no toast !! The breakfast choice for us was a little disappointing so we did not go on 3 days of our stay. For those who like to have a kettle, bring your own as there is no room facilities. Luckily mum had bought her travel one and tea bags !! There is a small fridge in the room too. We had a comfortable stay here and walked so much as there is a lot to see here. Restaurants are plentiful nearby, just across the road 20 steps away is a fab restaurant Kanoula that was perfect.

Good points: Staff were all exceptional - everyone was lovely and helpful and extremely patient. We particularly liked how Nicoletta treated us throughout our stay. All staff were so kind and friendly. Early check in - we were so grateful at being allowed to check in early and to be given water and tea while waiting for a room. Late check out - we were very happy to be allowed to check out at 13:05 (Anastasia gave us an extra 5 minutes!). Rooms: Size was really good and kept very clean. Developmental points: Breakfast: we found the food didn't have any variation throughout our stay and the quality of it wasn't what we had expected for a 5 star hotel - we were really disappointed. My daughter would only eat white bread (if it was available) so we'd resort to visiting another cafe for breakfast later in the morning. Rooms: Although the size of rooms was great, the rooms were very tired and in no way represented a 5-star stay. Shower room was unsatisfactory (difficult to get hot water, for example), soundproofing was poor, despite asking 3 times, room lighting was only partially fixed. Noise: On the first night, we really struggled to sleep due to poor soundproofing due to the room being connecting to another room. Thankfully Anastasia addressed this and we moved to another room which was a little better. Late check out: We would have been more appreciative for a later check out or at least adequate facilities to allow a shower etc - the outdoor shower doesn't work properly and is not 5 star standard for guests to use while changing. So, overall, I was disappointed with the stay, although happy to meet some lovely people who work there.

I stayed in room 202 for 1 night January 1, 2023. My room was located on the main level with a view of the main interstate highway. My bed had 2 twin very comfortable beds that you could push together. There was a TV with remote, small refrigerator, office desk and only a remote control for the heater. I did see a huge black bug crawling on my room floor the next morning. The hotel does have an outdoor swimming pool, free airport shuttle service, bar and restaurant for the morning breakfast. I had to leave very early so was not able to have breakfast. Other food orders are placed at the bar. I had to have the front lobby desk call someone to come to the bar, otherwise no one was manning the bar area. Their Greek lasagna was very good and very filling, highly recommend it. It is a few miles from central Thessaloniki. There is a gas station close by. The hotel main lobby area was very clean, and the staff were very pleasant. Nice short stay.

Сам отель хороший, большой и чистый номер. Персонал оставляет неприятное впечатление, не приятно общаться. Во время check-in я просил организовать трансфер в аэропорт рано утром. Когда пришел утром, выяснилось, что трансфер не организован. Сотрудники даже не извинились, сделали вид что «я не бронировал трансфер». Про клиент всегда прав видимо не слышали

I am starting the second week of my stay at the Royal Hotel in Peraia, having decided after a somewhat difficult year to spend a fortnight on.my own. I have been to Greece many times, but not to central Macedonia. I did my 'due diligence , and the Royal Hotel was the only one that fulfilled all of my criteria. Over the years, primarily on business, I have stayed in some of the finest hotels in the world. The excellence of service and the value For money here, would be incredibly difficult to surpass. Regrettably the staff will have (DV) to endure me for another fortnight, next June .......

A very good hotel next to Thessaloniki airport. Good service, nice breakfast and good options for dinner. The swimming pool is also very nice and great if you have some time to spend there. Recommended for a night before or after a flight and before continuing your trip.
