I rarely leave bad reviews, even though I stay in hotels often. Compared to other hotels in a similar price range, this one's facilities and services are overpriced. First, the staff at the hotel's pool and fitness center seriously need some customer service training. I chose this hotel specifically for my child to swim. The rule about children needing adult supervision is standard and completely understandable for safety. On the first day, everything was fine, and the staff were great. However, on the second day, after my child was already changed and ready to swim, an elderly staff member at the entrance refused to let us in. He insisted it was a rule. I explained that we had swum the day before, that my child could swim, and that I would be supervising. He remained adamant, acting like a bureaucrat, as if he owned the place and we were begging him for a favor. His attitude was terrible, and he even had the nerve to tell me to 'be polite.' The hotel really needs to train its staff better on their own policies. Second, the room hygiene is frankly subpar. The tiles around the bathtub were practically falling off, and the corners were very dirty. Trash in the public elevator remained there from our check-in until we left. However, I'd like to thank Manager Du in the lobby. After I explained the situation, he was very proactive in understanding, following up, and providing feedback.

This hotel is quite upscale and offers good value for money, especially at around 500 yuan. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the city. It's close to the Haihe River, Tianjin Eye, and directly across from the Ancient Culture Street. There are also many crosstalk theaters nearby. Dining is very convenient; we went to ** (restaurant name, if provided) which was about a 15-minute drive away. The food there was delicious and the portions were very generous.

Located opposite Ancient Culture Street and not far from the Tianjin Eye, this hotel offers convenient parking, so you won't need your car for sightseeing. There are plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options within walking distance. I later found out it's a Singaporean chain, and the breakfast was quite good.

Last time I stayed here, the room was quite cold, but Manager Du's service made us feel warm. This time, I contacted Manager Du in advance again, hoping to book the same room type as before, but I needed to make sure the temperature was right! Manager Du readily agreed, telling me not to worry and that she would personally check the room temperature and send me a photo. The room was 26.5 degrees! She's excellent and very responsible. Her dedication made my 3-night stay very comfortable! Highly recommended!

This was my first trip to Tianjin, traveling with my two children. As soon as we arrived at the hotel, they gave the kids a small New Year's gift ornament. Our room was upgraded to an executive room. On the first day, I didn't have any particular feelings about it; I just wanted a comfortable and safe stay with my children. But on the second day, I truly felt the benefits of this hotel. The location is incredibly convenient. You can walk along the Hai River all the way to the Tianjin Eye, enjoying the scenery. Taxis to all the popular attractions cost only about ten yuan. When we returned to the hotel in the evening, the housekeeping staff cleaned everything meticulously and even provided children's amenities. They also left a handwritten service note, which was very heartwarming. Traveling with two kids, I really appreciate this kind of care and attention when away from home.

Our family chose Pan Pacific for our New Year's Day trip to Tianjin, mainly because of its spacious rooms and good location. I was initially worried that the hotel might be old and the facilities outdated, but it turned out to be quite decent, especially since my parents were satisfied. We booked two 'Gendu Style King Rooms' and the front desk kindly arranged for them to be next to each other, which was very convenient for a family like ours. From the room window, you can catch a glimpse of the Tianjin Eye if you find the right angle. While the facilities are a bit dated, everything was clean and tidy. The breakfast was the highlight – really abundant, and the freshly baked waffles were super delicious. My parents particularly enjoyed the 'Jianbing Guozi' (a local savory crepe). The service was also excellent. My child got acute gastroenteritis during our stay in Tianjin and vomited in the breakfast restaurant. A male manager in the lobby promptly helped clean it up and even packed a lot of food for us when he saw we hadn't eaten well, which was very thoughtful. The only downside was that during the holiday, there were many tourists and fewer housekeeping staff, so they were a bit overwhelmed, and response times were sometimes slow. It would be great if this could be improved.

This hotel boasts an excellent location, right next to Ancient Culture Street and the Tianjin Eye. The Pacific Suite is perfect for a family of three, and adding an extra single bed with breakfast is quite a good value. The hotel's location is convenient for visiting various attractions in Tianjin's city center; it's very easy to walk to Ancient Culture Street. From JinGang Bridge downstairs, you can capture beautiful night views of the Tianjin Eye. The hotel facilities and services are also good, and breakfast was quite satisfying. Overall, I recommend it. However, while the suite's window offers a diagonal view of the Tianjin Eye, the main views from the living room and bedroom are of the old town. If you want to see the Hai River's night view, you should definitely opt for a river view room.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient to walk to Ancient Culture Street. The room was spacious, and I could see the Tianjin Eye from the window. My room faced east, so I even caught the first sunrise of 2026, which was absolutely beautiful. The gym, pool, and sauna were all top-notch. The service was warm and welcoming, and the room was clean and tidy. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Tianjin.

There was construction nearby, which made it quite noisy in the afternoons, but the staff kindly moved us to a different room. The variety of dishes at the breakfast buffet was a bit limited, and during the holiday period, there was a queue to get a table. This might have been due to a shortage of staff, as table clearing wasn't always prompt. Also, at the made-to-order noodle station, toppings like green onions and cilantro were gone after 9:30 AM and weren't refilled. Wontons were also limited and unavailable after 9:30 AM.

Better than expected, with great service. Environment: Very good. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Service: The front desk lady was very pretty. The room offered views of the Ferris wheel and Haihe River, and it's very close to Culture Street.

The Tianjin Pacific Hotel offers incredible value for money, perfectly combining its prime location with a fantastic guest experience. Just downstairs, the Haihe River shimmers beautifully at night, and the iconic Tianjin Eye is visible right from our window. It's also conveniently located near many historic establishments and popular photo spots, truly making it the top choice for exploring Tianjin. Manager Du at the front desk gave us an exceptionally warm welcome, upgrading our room and arranging breakfast. A big thank you to her and all the lovely staff at Tianjin Pacific for their cheerful and enthusiastic service! We'll definitely be back next time!

Coming from Beijing by high-speed rail to relive a past trip to Tianjin, I chose this hotel right next to the Tianjin Eye. I was upgraded to a river-view room, which had a lovely American style. After a swim, I indulged at the executive lounge, toasting to the New Year with the night view outside the window. A friendly staff member from the lounge even pointed out the Tianjin Eye to me. Later, I took a taxi for a night cruise on the Haihe River and visited the Astor Hotel – it was all very convenient and definitely worth it!

Facilities: The facilities are complete. Hygiene: The hotel is clean and tidy. Environment: The hotel is located by the Haihe River, with an excellent location and convenient transportation. Service: As expected of a five-star hotel, the service attitude is great, check-in was fast, and check-out was simple. My trip to Tianjin was especially enjoyable, and I highly recommend it.

A 3-day, 2-night stay at Pan Pacific Hotel at the end of 2025. We brought my parents back to the hotel (I had already confirmed many details with Manager Xiao Song beforehand, which was very thoughtful). The front desk manager greeted us warmly and arranged our rooms, again providing connecting family rooms, which was very convenient for us to look after our parents. This was extremely considerate. The rooms were as comfortable and cozy as ever. Anti-slip chairs were placed in the elders' bathrooms with anti-slip slippers, and upon learning that my parents enjoyed tea, several extra bottles of mineral water were provided. A big thank you to Shi Yanying from the 28th floor for her thorough and efficient cleaning. What truly stood out this time was the Executive Lounge on the 29th floor; the service was excellent as always, and the dishes and desserts had been upgraded. Manager Song even personally prepared special cocktails, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, all of which tasted great. In the evening, warm milk was delivered to my mother to help her sleep. The young man with glasses was also very observant, promptly clearing empty plates from our table. The breakfast was delicious, with some new dishes added. Jianbing Guozi (savory crepes) and rice noodles are always a must-have for us. The young lady at the reception greeted us cheerfully, and the service staff moved constantly through the crowd, tidying up and arranging dishes. Sister Chen and another elder sister helped me assist my mother to her seat, and Manager Sun along with another male manager helped us get our food and coffee. Everything was well-organized. The next morning, we ran into the lovely Manager Xiao Tang at breakfast, and a little casual chat was very heartwarming! The Peking duck at Haitanlou Chinese Restaurant was very satisfying. Because the food delivery robot was too busy, the male manager with glasses from the Chinese restaurant even specially delivered the hot, packed food to our room upstairs, concerned it might get cold and not taste good. In short, staying at this hotel feels reassuring; whatever issue you have, they will definitely help you resolve it. In Tianjin, we will continue to choose Pan Pacific Hotel again in 2026.
