Hotel berhampiran Yuquanguan Scenic Area, Tianshui

The train station basement had no internet connection so I was not able to get DiDi.  Not only did I overpay even after negotiating, but the driver spent the beginning part of the trip texting and I had to swing my arm across him as we were about to rear end another car.  20 minutes later arrival at Maiji Shan park entrance. The friendly owner was already there and immediately helped me with my bags.  A few minute drive to the expansive farmhouse.  I asked for a bowl of noodles which was hot and delicious provided by a grandmother woman. Chinese farm Breakfast was plentiful.  I used the heat as the mountains got cold quickly when the sun dropped.  The immaculate room was large with two double beds, a tv and desk.  The bathroom had integrated toilet and shower so it is wet.  Plenty of hot water tho the turn on was a matter of button pressing.  I learned something new!  Toiletries and paper towels (another first) were provided.  The owner took me to Maiji Shan.  Sadly, it was closed; rain had made rocks fall making it dangerous to climb the stairs. Nevertheless, I took some photos.  I tried to walk back (beautiful fall day), but the owner met me along the wayThe owner and I communicated via WeChat translator.  DIdi was not available and as we started for the train station the bus came behind us.  So the owner put me on it and I wrote via the app.  The bus drives very slowly but I got to the station to run back and forth with my bags, then going to a different floor to get a paper ticket, then back to the waiting area, thru the gate, up the stairs, and finally to my sleeper car.  Outside of asking me for my passport and various tickets about 10 times no personnel was particularly helpful tho I was noisily wheezing.  As I was getting off, Another passenger grabbed my bags and ran down the stairs with them and then went back to the train.  Probably someone in the medical field!  Platform smoking and between cars smoking can affect some people.

Perfect location walkable near Fuxi Temple, Hu Residence, Tianshui Ancient City, YuQuan Temple. There are many delicious restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby. Everything is in a walking distance. All staffs I met are the best in China! They are very professional and helpful. They helped me out in everything, recommended good driver to MaiJiShan, good restaurants, and many useful travel tips to save my time. Housekeepers and breakfast staffs are also friendly and service-minded. Room is spacious and well equipped. If I go to Tianshui, I will stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended!

Location to visit Maijishan is so near,just about less than 10 minutes walk, the owner is very friendly, helpful and honest, very are very satisfied with the rooms, comfortable beds, drinking water and Hot water machine is also provided, rooms are spaciou, washing machine, covered roof top floor are also available for washing and hanging of our clothes,we ate at the hotel for the period of three days and two nights, the foods are very delicious, even though the prices are expensive (some reviews) but we found it very reasonable, because it's at Tourist attractions spots and distance from the town, most important the dishes serving are plentiful, very big, very quiet during days and nights, will definitely recommend to friends, and we will stay again if we come back to visit Maijishan in the future.

This tiny place was absolutely delightful. The owner came and picked us up when our Uber couldn’t get us to the right location. They served a lovely breakfast and the dinner was also very good.

Excellent location, 5 min taxi distance of Tianshuinan train station. Hotel staff, in particular the front desk gentleman was very helpful with planning our trip to Maijishan Grottoes. Room has Philips tv so we could connect our laptop with a HDMI cable and watch western movie. If you visit Maijishan, the taxi to the visitor center is ¥40, sometimes fixed fee ¥60, no more. It is 30 minutes from the hotel. At the visitor center you purchase tickets. We preordered them with the help of the front desk but it turned out that was not needed, there are enough tickets out of mayor high season. From the visitor center you take the bus to the grottoes. If you have time, purchase special tickets for private entrance to some of the more special grottoes. The regular visit takes appr 2 hours. The hotel has a washing area, very convenient and an excellent breakfast.

Good, love this hotel. Spacious. The robot sends up your delivery. And the front desk is very helpful with your laundry if the machines are taken up.

This is a REALLY nice hotel. Unfortunately, although it is practically right next to one of the city's two train stations, the location is far from ideal. Yes, there are many restaurants close by. But Tianshui is an oddly laid out city. Look on a map and you will see two distinct parts to the city. This hotel, along with the two train stations and the airport are in the eastern city. But all the most interesting city attractions are within the west part. And the two parts are very far from each other. Again, this is a nice, quiet, comfortable hotel. And I often try to stay at hotels near transportation centers such as train stations. The view from my room was fabulous- mountains and a train station. But for anyone visiting Tianshui, I'd suggest you look closely at a map and take a close look at the sites within the city you are likely to visit! (To add to within-town transportation challenges, not even a single time was I able to get a ride using the normally useful ”Didi” application. This meant that it was a constant ”old school” process of trying to flag down available taxis. Anyway, again I will emphasize, the hotel is great. It is the layout of the city itself that presents challenges that make this location difficult.

Linglan is actually an excellent location despite the obvious. It's half way between Fuxi temple and Mt. maiji. The bus stop is directly outside the hotel & 5 yuan takes U to Fuxi temple & old town. (Beware last bus is around 730pm, taxi back from Fuxi temple was around 40rmb) For its price point, it's a wonderful, newly renovated g well appointed. Despite management's best effort to be a none-smoking establishment, hotel guests tend to ignore this policy. However, with communication, hotel kindly moved me to a far end on the top floor. They also offered pick up/drop off from train station. The restaurant provided simple yet tasty staples. All in all it was a wonderful stay

Read lots of reviews about this hotel before booking it for a night. I'll still give it a 5-star review because it is so convenient for independent travellers like us. The railway station as well as the local public buses station/stops are just a few minutes walk away from the hotel. The rooms are clean and spacious, the bathroom shower has strong flow of water. It's near to the famous Malatang eateries, too, just less than 5 minutes walk away. The rooms are not sound proof and we can hear the next door guests talking. Since it was already 12.30 midnight, we couldn't get to sleep due to the non-stop talking in the next room, we decided to seek help from the counter staff to give us a quiet room. She was so kind and moved us to another room on the same floor in the middle of the night. Kudos to this kind lady.

일단 위치가 너무 좋습니다. 천수역 앞이고 주변에 식당, 가게가 많고 음료 살 곳도 많아요. 맥적산 가는 34번 버스 타는 곳이 가깝고 천수고성 가는 버스도 근처에서 탈 수 있어요. 숙소가 깨끗하고 방이 넓고 좋았는데 세면대에서 하수구 냄새가 너무 심하게 났어요 프론트에 얘기하니 방을 업그레이드해서 바꿔줘서 편하고 쾌적하게 잤습니다. 조식 포함이긴 한데 아주 간단한 메뉴 몇가지라서 큰 기대는 하지마시길..그래도 간단히 아침 해결하고 외출하긴 좋았어요. 서비스, 위치, 청결도 모두 만족합니다
