Ulasan Hotel Rio Rita

The hotel was in a very nice location and the staff was incredibly friendly. However, the rooms were really small and the lighting is terrible. It was very dark. We had a king bed which made the room very tight. Parking is across the street from the hotel but they do give you a card for free parking or there is valet at the hotel where you just tip the bellboy. The breakfast is the same menu every single day and consists of chips with sauce, potato’s eggs and beans, flavored water and coffee. No juice. They do have fruit, but it would’ve been nice to have more of a selection, especially if you are there for multiple days.

Excellent place to stay everything is so close bars restaurants

The location is very convenient, right on the street. There are shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The soundproofing is a bit poor, but the service staff are very friendly and helpful. There are two breakfast options. Remember to get the meal coupons.

The room has no windows

Rented a hotel room at Rio Rita on 6/22/25 early morning; As soon as my wife and I entered the room and tried to use the bathroom, we noticed there wasn’t any water coming out from the shower, sink nor the toilet. We went to the front desk to advise about the issue. The front desk clerk said the water pump was broken. As soon as I was told about the issue, I requested a refund; I’ve been requesting a refund or credit ever since, but I’m getting the run around.

I came home intoxicated after a night on Revoluccion (like that's ever happened to anyone before, right?) and apparently I had trouble finding my key, opening my door and finding my friend from whom I'd gotten separated. The staff apparently decided I was disorderly. My bad, I'm not proud of it (if that's really what happened, which I don't know). But here's what they did. They physically threw me out on the street, screaming in my face in Spanish the whole time, while someone upstairs ransacked my room. They tossed most (but not all) of my clothes and toiletries in my bag and then they threw my bag out on the street with me (good thing I waited, despite the non-stop verbal abuse). This is not how anyone would handle the situation in, say Las Vegas or New Orleans. But here's what was missing - about $300-400 in $20s from my bag itself, and about $600-700 in $100s that was IN THE LOCKED WALL SAFE ALONG WITH MY PASSPORT. My passport somehow made it into my bag (less the cash folded inside it) so I suppose I should be grateful that my passport made it, at least. But someone obviously has access to the wall safe and takes advantage of that access, to say the least. That should greatly concern anyone staying here and planning to bring valuables. Moral of the story: If you stay here, please make sure you don't have too much to drink and piss off the wrong staff member, or you may find yourself bewildered and shivering on the streets of Tijuana at 4am with no cash, wondering where if anywhere you can find a working ATM. The. Worst. Stay. Ever. P.S. I did find another hotel down the street that took me in no problem (and helped me find an ATM the next day). But I'm crossing TJ off my list for a long, long time and Hotel Rio Rita forever.

BEWARE The worst Customer service ever I was stuck in their parking garage where the valet parked. I was never told I need a parking card to leave the garage I had an emergency and had to get my car fast and I was told you need a card to leave When I called the Hotel and asked to send me a card, they were like the Valet left for today and the front desk receptionist hung up on me Had to leave my car and run to the hotel to get the key I asked the guy Did you hang up on me? And he literally said YES!, I can't help you By far considered relatively expensive as my stay was almost 110 USD/ day which I think you get a better stay in anywhere around TJ Most of the staff have an attitude and not really willing to speak in English to help you Bottom line they just wanna make money! And you can check how thier customer service skills are by the replies to any reviews here on Google or yelp They will probably answer me by saying " Thank you for review " And this is how you will get ignored there!

Horrible, rude front desk staff! Adriel was rude, condescending and would not help in any way. The location is decent and the hotel is clean, but their policies and treatment of guest do not make up for this. Do yourself a favor and if you want to stay on revolution there are plenty and better, friendlier choices.

Great little boutique hotel on Revo. Good location in the middle of Revo, it's like an oasis of comfort and calm in a party area. The hotel has a Hollywood theme, with each room having a large portrait if a Hollywood star; my floor had a Scarface theme. The room was very comfy and clean. Great bed, big TV with American channels, Netflix, and youtube. The room has a safe and a fridge. The shower was excellent with good water pressure, hot water, and rain-shower head. There is a really cool balcony on each floor where you can hang out and watch the Revo action below. At first my room was very noisy since it was closest to the street, but when I said something a staff member came up and shut the door between the balcony and the hall, it instantly got quiet. The staff are great and make sure that the sometimes rowdy outside does not intrude upon the hotel. I slept great, also the price is very reasonable. Strong recommend.

Mi esposa y yo nos hospedamos aquí en la madrugada del 22 de Junio, 2025; como a eso de las 3:00 am Llegamos y todo bien, en cuánto subimos al cuarto, sorpresa…..No salía agua de la regadera, lavamanos ni del escusado. Bajamos de inmediato a la recepción para avisar del problema, la recepcionista le habló al de seguridad para que fuera a revisar la bomba de agua, luego subió el de seguridad y dijo “No sube agua la bomba”, para mí que ya sabían del problema y aún así estaban rentando cuartos. Pague $97.72 dllrs y $500.00 pesos de depósito. Le pedí rembolso a la recepcionista, solo me regreso los $500.00 pesos del depósito, la recepcionista apuntó mis datos para según dárselos al gerente; Al día siguiente marqué para preguntar sobre mi reembolso y me dijeron que tenía que esperar hasta que el gerente se comunicara conmigo, pasaron días y no se comunicaba conmigo, volví a marcar para preguntar otra vez sobre el rembolso volvieron apuntar mis datos y me dijeron que el gerente se iba a comunicar conmigo, pasaron unas dos semanas y no se comunicaron. Llame otra vez, pero esta vez para pedir crédito, iba ir de visita a Tijuana marqué con una semana de anticipación, La recepcionista que contestó el teléfono por cierto se ofendió por qué le pregunté su nombre…. ya no la voy hacer el cuento más largo… no me dieron crédito ni reembolso, se quedaron con mi dinero.
