Hotel Arunachala

Hotel Arunachala's biggest plus is it's proximity to Arunachaleshwarar Temple, the main reason why people like us visit Tiruvannamalai. The check- in was smooth, the rooms were clean and the AC and other things were working fine. The people at the reception were receptive and polite. We didn't have anything at their restaurant as we were not sure about their quality. We are fussy about our veg food. Surprisingly, in the restaurant, they don't serve tea or coffee. One has to stand outside and take it from the stall in the front. This place is full of swarming flies. That wasn't good. Overall, good. Not disappointed.

Stay was comfortable and the staff are very cooperative. Rooms are neat and tidy. The roads are narrow very difficult for the car to reach the place(only back side of the hotel is possible that to with great difficulty ), otherwise excellent place to stay. Nowadays we are not getting much discounts when we book through make my trip.

1. No driver room for drivers to sleep in the night. 2. C0ffee is banned in side the restaurant where you can get all breakfast items without coffee. Strange but true. 3. No hot water for morning bath. Lukewarm water is only available. 4. No notice board as hotel arunachala is available at the entrance steps where much space is available. Nearly 200 meters height at the top floor board is there. It is highly impossible for a new guest to see vertically up to confirm the hotel name and surely old people will get dizziness. 4. Only plus point is location very near to temple and the staffs are good but helpless due to hotel management rules. 5. This hotel is more than 20 years in the business and no modern facilities are implemented. 6. Locks should be replaced.

No communication with the customer room allotment also delay more amount charging for late check out don’t believe hotel by seeing photos it was not worthy

I have reached the hotel around 11:30pm, and they said me there is no room available, a *** called sridhar was very rude at the reception, he was like there is only one room and after 5 mins i see fee people walked away and he was arranging us that room, after long wait he said to cancel my 2 rooms

Hotel is reasonably good and very close to temple we had comfortable stay at the hotel, definitely recommend to friends and relatives

This property is literally at the entrance of raja gopuram. Very nicely maintained and worth every penny that you spend for a stay in tiruvanamalai.

Hotel is good. But rooms are small. 3 bed it is not comfortable. Taps to be repaired. Tube light is required
