Ulasan Dai-Ichi Hotel Ryogoku

The room amenities are a bit dated, but it's very clean and tidy. The view from the high-floor room is absolutely unbeatable.

The night view is great, and the subway station is right below the hotel.

Apart from its convenient location right next to the subway station, everything else about this hotel was quite disappointing. It's a very old hotel, and frankly, the hygiene standards were shockingly un-Japanese, completely shattering my perception of cleanliness in the country. Dust was everywhere: in the closets, on the headboard, and even on the newspaper/magazine displays near the elevators. It's clear the cleaning staff were just going through the motions. The entire 16th floor reeked of stale, deeply ingrained cigarette smoke that seemed to have soaked into the carpets. The duvet was covered in various stains, which was absolutely disgusting to look at. And don't even get me started on the Wi-Fi speed – it was so slow I couldn't even send emails with attachments!

I stayed here in late October. The location was convenient and the staff were polite, but the room temperature was uncomfortable. The hotel uses central air conditioning, so only the fan speed can be adjusted. During my stay, the system was set to heating only, even though it was about 15°C outside, making the room quite hot. The front desk suggested turning off the fan, but then there was no air circulation. Overall, good service but poor temperature control.I requested a non-smoking room, but it was not available at check-in and the room had a strong cigarette smell. My family is sensitive to smoke, so I informed the front desk. The staff were polite and very helpful — they brought three deodorizing machines to clean the room about an hour later. Good service, but I hope the hotel can better guarantee non-smoking rooms in the future.

Great Loddon, Kind staff, lots of help and easy to find plus very useful. But lack of AC and ability to open window.

One of the best hotels in Tokyo. Perfect view at the Sky Tree tower. Rooms are quite spacious, bed is nice. Everyday cleaning. The stuff is helpful. We stayed here twice and will come again.

Weird and stained bed blankets. Dirty curtains. Room size is pretty good for Tokyo I guess. In overall, feels like a typical business hotel.

Positive review. The room was spacious, and the hotel offered lovely night views. The surrounding area is great, and being close to Ryogoku Station makes transportation very convenient.

The variety of food is good to start a day. It could be better to serve brown rice, whole grain bread and more variety of fruits. It could be better to have in house laundrette. The supermarket is located near to JR RYOGOKU Station.

Great hotel. Near the metro and 7/11 directly opposite the hotel. The bed was comfy too. I had a great view of the Skytree.

The hotel's location near both subway and train lines makes it incredibly convenient for getting to the airport or Atami. Plus, our room offered fantastic views of the Skytree. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, ensuring a quiet stay even when the hotel is fully booked.

The room was a decent size. The location offers excellent transport links, making it incredibly convenient to get around, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. What's more, the famous Sensoji Temple is just a short walk away.
