Hotel berhampiran Santa María, Tolosa

Fuimos a una boda a San Sebastian. El hotel tiene unas instalaciones de muy buena calidad, pero lo mejor de todo sin duda es el personal. Fueron muy amables tanto en recepción como en el desayuno. También nos ayudaron a ir a San Sebastian sin el coche. Si tuviera que puntuarles sobre 10, les daría un 20 :). Muchas gracias. Lo recomiendo sin duda!!

El edificio en sí desde fuera es una verdadera joya arquitectónica de lo que en su día fue la Euskadi rural. Por dentro, bueno, se ha tratado de darle un aire moderno intentando mantener los elementos más notorios del edificio, como lo son las vigas de madera. Pero por lo demás, el hotel no se diferencia de otros. Nosotros estuvimos en una habitación en el último piso, en el ático, y esto fue un error. Un lugar como es Euskadi no muy acostumbrado a los rigores del calor veraniego, no está preparado para luchar contra el calor, y además, si le añadimos que estábamos bajo directamente el tejado, pues el calor ya os podéis imaginar cual era. Y eso que había aire acondicionado, pero ni se notaba. Escuché a unos clientes hablar con la gente del hotel y éstos explicarles que debido al calor, el aire al final tardaba tanto en enfriar porque primero enfriaba el tejado... ¿? Inexplicable. Al final nos tocó dormir con las ventanas abiertas, y ¡Claro! Con el ruido del tráfico, incluso a altas horas de la madrugada, el pegar ojo fue cosa difícil. Otra de las grandes pegas del hotel es la presión del agua. Apenas podías lavarte los dientes si acababas de tirar de la cisterna. El desayuno bien; con esto del COVID-19, el comedor estaba cerrado, y al final la cafetería se usa también para el desayuno, y como no hay buffet, pides lo que vas a tomar y listo. En general, un hotel 4 estrellas que no considero que debiera ni tenerlas.

This was our first trip to Madrid and the northern cities of Spain so we wanted to take in some of the highlights of the region. Our son and daughter-in-law met us in Donastia San Sebastián and had the wise forethought to spend a night in the Basque countryside resort at this picturesque hotel nestled in the rolling, plush green valley approximately 30 minutes outside the bustling city. The moment we drove through the winding roads of the charming town leading to the inn’s entrance I knew we were in for a delightful treat. Despite a rather greeting from the gentleman at the front desk who checked us in, we were enthralled by the decor of the interior public rooms and each of our spacious guest rooms with breathtaking sights and sounds of the outdoors. Dinner was a most impressive Michelin menu, with palatable and delectable presentations. A small but sufficient and equally tasty breakfast was served the next morning to send us off with warm and wonderful memories of our stay.

Buen trato, habitaciones renovadas, limpieza y buena combinación de transporte público con el centro de San Sebastián.

Iamos dde turismo por gipuzkoa interior. El hotel muy bien, el personal perfecto y como estabamos cansados del los 650 kilometors nos quedamos a cenar y fué una comida muy bien merecedora de un 9. El por qué no puse EXCELENTE = Está un poco complicado encontrarlo y si se añade que NO HAY NI UN LETRERO ENCENCIDO aún mas.. pues pasamos 5 veces por delante sin verlo. Gracias en última instancia de la srta Edurne ( creo que fué ella o sino a la srtqa. Arantxa) que por móvil no fué guiando y nos esperó en la puerta. Fué muy gentil y poco corriente encontrar a una persona así. Si encienden la luz lo recomendaré, muchas veces aún más. Sólo un pequeño fallo, el desayuno es muy justito en cuanto a surtido. De todas maneras muchas gracias y de ven9ir otra vez por aqui seguro que vol vemos a visitaros. gracias nos hicisteis la tarde noche muy agradable. Saludos Pep

We booked a Premium Room directly on the hotel’s website (it’s cheaper than comparison websites) and stayed for 1 night. The rate of accommodation in this city is unbelievably expensive, and for close to €200 that we paid, we only got a room, with NO breakfast and NO parking. If we want to park at the private parking lot behind the hotel, we would have to pay another €15 per night, according to the hotel’s website. We were glad we did not, because we were able to find a parking space at the side of the road (plenty of them, depending on the time of the day) outside the hotel. Location of the hotel is outside the busy city, but easily accessible by Bus #28, which stops very regularly at a bus stand not far from the hotel. We will certainly recommend taking the bus and leaving your car, because parking is difficult to find in the city (and may cost you more!) The décor of the hotel’s common area is very elegant. The staff who checked us in were very efficient and knowledgeable about the events happening in the city during the busiest day of the year (we arrived on 15 August – the Virgin’s Day). Our Premium Room is spacious and clean, the décor is simple and modern. All amenities worked well. There’s a kettle, mini fridge, and complimentary coffee and tea. The bathroom is also very spacious and clean, the hot shower functioned well, and basic toiletries were provided for. We enjoyed our 1-night stay at the hotel, despite its location being outside the city. The bus is so very convenient to take.

Personal MUY atento que nos trató con mucho cariño y amabilidad. La mejor ubicación, en el centro de Zarautz y cerca de la playa. Desayuno de calidad. Habitaciones muy bonitas y con buena distribución. Vamos cada año a Zarautz y sin duda volveremos el año que viene a este hotel.

The location is good if you have a car, is not close (walking distance) to the city, but at the same time really good location. Service is just fantastic, everyone was nice with us and welling to help if we asked for something. the Snack bar (cafeteria) staff is the best of the best, as well as the housekeeping staff. The only bad thing was the AC, we have no idea if it was ”warm” because the new ordinance or because something else, but unfortunately the hotel's location is so close to a highway, the room was quiet and good, but we try to sleep a little bit cooler, and with the window open was just imposible
