Wuzhen Zhaoming House

The location is fantastic as it is right next to the entrance to the scenic street which lines the river. It is adjacent to one of the attractions 昭明书院 and has many antique wooden banners around the lobby. Room is very spacious and has 2 single rooms inside with a TV each. It is well maintained and clean. The breakfast has a wide selection of both western and local Chinese dishes. The stay comes with set meal which you can choose to have dinner or lunch. It also comes with a fan making experience which we were delighted to keep as a souvenir

Check in at the Tourist centre. After that, their sightseeing car will take you to the hotel. The hotel is inside Wuzhen scenic area. There's a 24h family mart within walking distance. Note that there's no fridge inside the room.

Hotel compound and facilities good enough for our 1 night's stay. Staff polite, buffet breakfast better than expected and the room is spacious. However, there is 'something' about the room we just can't put a word to describe. Don't like the use of red & blue coloured glass for the lamps in the foyer area and bedrooms! It adds a tinge of errieness to the atmosphere, especially when the ceiling lights are turned off before sleep. The beddings and pillows are also not very comfortable. Was not able to get a good sleep.

Choosing a hotel inside Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area was absolutely the right decision. Staying within the ancient town lets you fully immerse yourself in the poetic beauty of Jiangnan — especially in the quiet early morning and the peaceful evenings. The scenery is stunning: misty canals, stone bridges, and wooden houses reflecting on the water like a painting. An early morning boat ride, with graceful black swans following behind, was truly unforgettable. There are many lovely activities to enjoy — walking along lantern-lit streets, exploring small museums, watching traditional performances, or simply relaxing by the river. The hotel itself was wonderful. Designed in a minimalist Chinese style, it was elegant, spotless, and very comfortable. The service was attentive and thoughtful. Breakfast was decent for international guests, with a mix of local and Western options. Staying inside Xizha made the whole experience feel magical — not just visiting Wuzhen, but living in it.

Nice hotel with lots of inclusive convenience such as buggy rides within Wuzhen scenic area, free luggage transfer from tourist check in centre to hotel. Room is clean and everything in order.

Lovely hotel in a perfect location. The room is spacious with twin separated bedrooms with private key access. The dinner and breakfast are especially good deals.

This hotel is a gem! Clean, spacious, and hotel staffs are helpful enough! They even prepared a gift for my son whose birthday is due this month.
