Seabreeze

Sea Breeze is a lovely B&B in a superb location with great views over Babbacombe Downs and the sea. It is very well located with easy access to buses and places to eat. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and the beds were very comfortable. it was lovely to have a balcony looking out across the bay. There was a good choice for breakfast, with Cheryl's delicious full English being our favourite. The daily slice of cake left in our room was an added bonus. Paul and Cheryl are delightful, friendly and welcoming, the perfect hosts, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend the Sea Breeze.

Another visit to this excellent accommodation, expertly run by hosts Paul & Cheryl. The rooms are extremely well equipped, comfortable & spotlessly clean. The breakfast is superb with locally sourced ingredients, great choice & well cooked & presented. The location is ideal on the beautiful Downs & is well placed for visits to the races at Newton Abbot & Exeter. Look forward to our next visit in the summer.

Me and my partner stayed here back in October. It's a fantastic guest house with beautiful views over the sea. A great location with everything walk-able. The room was amazing, the bed comfy, fabulous bathroom and a brilliant balcony. The breakfasts were delicious and made to order. The couple that run the place are really friendly and made us feel so welcome. The honesty bar worked well too and we were never short of drinks! We definitely want to come back!

From us stepping inside Seabreeze and the fantastic warm welcome from Paul & Cheryl, everything was 5 star. We were taken to our beautiful room "Babbacombe Room" (picture attached, view from balcony). Homemade tasty cakes (left in our room daily) dressing gowns, fresh milk in the fridge, cold water......absolutely beautiful. Beautiful hanging basket on the balcony. My parents stayed in the room below, also with a balcony view over the Babbacombe Downs! Breakfast was amazing, the poached eggs - tip top!! Seabreeze has ticked all the boxes and more!! Just had the most wonderful 3 nights/4 days in beautiful Babbacombe. We have never been and took a chance on Seabreeze based on previous reviews. We were not disappointed, from the moment you arrive Paul and Cheryl couldn’t make you feel any more welcome. We were staying in the Oddicombe room at the front of the house with a balcony, the room was spotless, beautifully decorated in keeping with the style of property with everything you could need for a perfect stay, including home made cake!. Parking was easy in the public car park at the rear as we bought a permit in advance. During the day there is a licensed terrace for light snacks and drinks and even an honesty bar after hours for guests. The breakfast was fab, cooked and served to perfection. Can’t recommend highly enough, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful property and making us feel so at home, we will definitely be back soon

Really friendly owners , Paul and Cheryl made us so welcome in our first visit to their hotel.The room was spacious and spotlessly clean with lovely little touches like homemade biscuits in the room. It was also very quiet. Cheryl cooked all the breakfast’s herself and they were all delicious. Will definitely be returning. Absolute gem! Thank you both for making our stay so happy.

As far as I am concerned this is the only place to stay in the Torquay area. We haven’t stayed anywhere else and we won’t be looking to stay anywhere else because you won’t get better, Cheryl and Paul are the perfect hosts, our room was beautiful, immaculately clean and the bed was so comfortable. Cheryl’s breakfasts were just outstanding, you have got to got to try the bacon, it is the absolute best. If that wasn’t enough, returning to our room each day to find a slice of cake sitting waiting for us was so delightful. Confession time, I’ve known Cheryl prior to their move to Devon and I had the very great privilege of working with Cheryl. Cheryl’s cakes are just phenomenal and I have missed them so much. I will be rebooking as soon as I can get time way and I may just sit on the their terrace and eat cake. You have got to try the blueberry and lemon cake it’s heavenly. See you soon.

Cheryl and Paul are fabulous hosts. Very friendly and welcoming. We stayed in the ground floor Riddlecombe suite which was wheelchair accessible. It had a generous wet room, a separate sitting room with the most wonderful views overlooking the sea. Just fab. Lots of pubs and hotels on the same street, so it’s so easy to pop out for dinner and pop back to the room - so convenient. The rooms and whole place is really clean, comfortable and every thing has been thought of. Even a recliner chair in the little sitting room, a spare heater, fresh cake every day, seaside decor, and Paul and Cheryl will try to accommodate your every need. I couldn’t use the perching stool in the wet room, so they kindly brought in another option for me which worked well. Cheryl comes from a catering background so all the food is delicious! We will definitely be back. Such a relaxing place to be.
