Tyndale B&B Torquay

Our fourth visit and this year we were greeted by the new proprietors. As always as before our experience was second to none and this time with some new enhancements which sort to make our holiday even more memorable. Breakfasts - superb. Comfort -unquestionable. Omg what can we say? This boutique was absolutely outstanding! The place was immaculate, the hosts David and Tonny couldn't do enough for you! Even went out of there way to accommodate my partner allergies. The rooms were just beautiful 😍 and breakfast was the best I've ever had! Even with bucks fizz. Nothing was too much trouble for them..it was the best b and b by far, even booked already for October 🙂

What can I say but WOW! Stayed here in May with my husband for a two nights. We had the most luxurious break from start to finish. Everything was carefully considered and you could see the effort and love that has gone in to running this B&B by all the additional special touches! We absolutely loved the cake in the room. David and Tonny were brilliant hosts and made us feel so comfortable. Location is fabulous and the room had everything we needed and was absolutely spotless. Breakfast was first class. We had an amazing stay at Tyndale Boutique B&B. David and Tonny (owners) were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the local area and things to do. Our room was spotless, bed comfortable, and we were treated like royalty with so many unexpected treats. Breakfast was delicious with so many options to choose from. About a 10 minute easy walk to the beachfront. We will stay again next time we're in Torquay. Thank you both. We arrived strangers and departed friends.

I often do a lot of research before choosing a bed and breakfast. I was influenced in booking by the number of excellent reviews. The Tyndale Boutique B&B exceeded my expectations. Everything has been thought through as to give guests the perfect B&B experience. From the Prosecco on arrival, hot towels, breakfast cooked to order on the morning, comfy beds and tasteful decor. David & Tonny have an excellent establishment….it is beyond five star. It was a relaxing break…they were willing to go the extra mile for their guests. An amusing coincidence was that the weekend we were staying all the male guests bar one were called David as well as one of the owners. So it was easy to remember their names. I don’t think they arranged that for me or maybe they did? Recommended!!

This was an unexpected delight. Probably one of the best B and B experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, Tonny and David provided top class service - helping with baggage, settling us into our beautifully appointed room with treats and gifts. The Tynedale is nicely positioned in walking distance of the seafront, and plentiful features of Torquay, which our hosts have excellent local knowledge of - and an infectious enthusiasm for. The Tyndale also goes the extra mile at breakfast! Fantastic variety of options, and a really good cooked menu beautifully presented - with bucks fizz! The hosts have years of customer service experience, and it really shows. A top class B and B!

Excellent location, quiet, safe and peaceful. Free parking on site. Lovely room and amenities. Good choices of great breakfast options. Excellent and very friendly hosts. Would definitely visit again. Very comfortable sitting area downstairs with a variety of snacks. Cosy Sofa is in the room.

What a truly wonderful stay at the Tyndale B&B. Wonderful hosts, we couldn't have been treated any better. The room was magnificent and had so many lovely extras. Everything was done to a very high standard. The breakfast and options available were out of this world! So much variety, locally sourced and freshly made. This is a wonderful gem and somewhere we will definitely return in the future. Thank you for a very memorable stay.

**Immaculate B and B with a personal touch** Small, but perfectly formed, The Tyndale is everything we want and need from a B and B. With fewer rooms than many others, this makes for a more intimate experience. Upon arrival, you are treated to freshly baked brownies. Your hosts, Rick and Able, make it their business to give you the space to enjoy your break but share local knowledge to help you to discover new places to enjoy during your stay. Cleanliness in each room, and we've stayed in them all over time, is exemplary. I've NEVER stayed in somewhere so clean, well kept and meticulously managed but all done in such a subtle way. It is just such a special place to visit which is why we keep returning. Well located, just a 5 minute walk from the stunning Torre Abbey and a couple of minutes more from the seafront and harbour. Only a short drive, bus or train ride from other local beaches and towns that show the array of beauty that Devon has to offer. Local restaurants and pubs give you a warm welcome too. The Tyndale is reasonably priced but delivers above and beyond expectation. Thanks for a beautiful stay, as always xx
