The staff was friendly and quick to help but the property left something to be desired. The cabin was clean but it needs A LOT of TLC. The front door was warped and didn't meet at the bottom, the door knob wasn't truly a knob since the door wouldn't stay shut unless you it was locked. Our son locked the deadbolt before he left out the back door and we had to have maintenance come out and unscrew the deadbolt before we could open the front door. The futon is missing screws and shaky. The big bed needs a new mattress - it sinks in the middle.
To be fair, Kim, the sweet lady that checked us in, said that they inherited a mess when they took over and it's improved since. You can tell they have put effort in but I'm not sure that the cabin should have been rented until all of the kinks were worked out.
We would definitely consider staying here again once all of the projects are done. Right now, it's great for a camper in a tent or RV but the cabins aren't up to snuff. The staff is doing all they can to get it there though. If you can stay with an open mind, go and enjoy the peace and quiet. Just don't expect the Ritz!
