In many aspects, this hotel might pass for a domestic Chinese four-star. But at your Japanese four-star price point, does it really deliver? This 'master-designed' hotel simply features heavy drapes in the lobby, while the guest room area consists of narrow corridors, bare white walls adorned with a few wooden panels, and a massive light bulb dangling from the ceiling. What kind of aesthetic is this even supposed to be? The guest room was even more amusing: a triple room. We paid an extra 8,000 JPY for our child, yet there was no additional bed, quilt, or pillow provided. I had to ask for them specifically after checking in. The open-plan vanity mirror directly faced the bed. To the left, a glass partition enclosed the shower, and to the right, a wooden partition housed the toilet. There was a fridge and two bottles of water, but no laundry facilities. The main event, the so-called 'private onsen,' turned out to be just a small wooden tub awkwardly set up on the balcony. You had to step out of the room onto the balcony to access it, and beyond the tub was a wire mesh fence. Your balcony overlooks a busy street with constant foot traffic. Is this 'private onsen' design some kind of performance art? No one seemed to use it, and it certainly wasn't cleaned; by the next morning, it was noticeably filthy. Oh, and let's not forget the laughably meager breakfast. I'm too exhausted to go into further detail, but I'm truly curious how much Ctrip was paid to bury negative reviews for this place.

This hotel is actually quite impressive overall. Its location at Lake Toya is a bit out of the way, situated opposite the hot spring town, so you basically can't see the fireworks. If dinner isn't included, it's best to eat before you check in. However, you can buy instant noodles at the hotel, which is a pretty good fallback! The views are absolutely stunning, no doubt about it. The room is also very spacious, featuring an island counter, which makes it feel incredibly generous. The private onsen is located on the balcony. In summer, it's better to use it in the evening, as in the morning, it faces the sun directly and gets too hot to even dip your feet in. Chinese-speaking staff are available.

Location is not so good comparing to other hotel around lake Toya

Service was AAA+, the hotel had a very nice decoration. We took some very nice photo in the hotel. Room was super spacious and the view of the Lake was incredible. Did not get to enjoy the inhouse onsen as I had some tattoos. But still I had an onsen in the room. Breakfast was delicious.

The hotel service was excellent and highly satisfactory. My only minor complaint concerns the sink design. The faucet was positioned too low, making it impossible to fill my water flosser directly. I had to use a cup to collect water and then transfer it. Furthermore, the sink basin was quite shallow, which meant water easily splashed out. I'm not sure if other guests encountered this, but it's just my personal observation. Thank you for your understanding.

Away from it all with a view you’d kill for. Clean and quiet. Really quiet. If that’s what you’re after, this is what you’d go for. Outdoor bath is a plus. Just watch out for the hot water. It’s really hot. Breakfast was good enough but the set dinner nothing to shout about. Still would recommend for a short stay to unwind.

Hotel price is too high, expensive. Breakfast and dinner is so so.

Recommend hotel to include daily cleaning for villas. At least rubbish bin and bathrooms.

With such steep price tag we expected more from the hotel, but its Very disappointing. Meals are vey limited and kitchen close at 7pm, hence we have to prepare cup noodles. Public Onsen seems to be just heated tap water. Nothing great about this place.

Clean and luxurious stay at this modern hotel. Like other reviews mentioned, there are some features that may be less than ideal (faucet fixed too near to bottom of sink making it hard to use, shower door unable to close fully and the bath area is open concept). Location is about 20mins away from where the other hotels are and where fireworks can be viewed. Overall a very nice hotel with impeccable service and touches (lovely yukata plus in-room toiletries/ amenities) but be mindful those as well as the modern design are what you are paying a premium for.

Very poor service. Nobody help to move baggage. Nobody mans the recetion in night time. Only five staff operate the whole hotel. The water tap design is very poor. Cannot load water to the electric kettle direct. The fee is extremely expensive. Never experienced such an expensive but poor service hotel like this one.

Very decent hotel with great view👍🏻 location not so convenient as there is nothing surround, need to travel to Toya onsen area to grab lunch/dinner.
