But due to quite a big bathroom, I nearly don't have any space to open my 24-inch size luggage.
The location is very near to the Toyama station and surround by restaurant.

This was a beautiful hotel just steps away from the Toyama Station, yet the area is clean, quiet (for being in the city) and lovely. It’s conveniently located for walking around to shops, restaurants and the cherry blossom canal, if you’re there at that time of year. There’s also a stunning urban park close by with so many views and a Starbucks on the waterfront that is a special setting. Our room at this hotel was above and beyond. We actually reserved a standard double and ended up getting upgraded to an amazingly large room with a spacious full living room area. It was such a relaxing place to stretch out after a busy day. Everything was super clean and many nice toiletry touches were provided. I wish we had another night here for sure!

I have no idea why this hotel is branded as Doubletree because it is a lot better than the usual Doubletree. It can definitely be a Hilton branded hotel. Everyone is kind and helpful and the room is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic with the food quality excellent. Plenty of choice between western and Japanese food, the Food and Beverage Manager was personally present to make sure everything was okay and he was fantastic to receive his advice on the best food to choose. Well done everyone

Perfect location. The hotel is literally steps from the Toyama Tram Station, the Toyama Station and Dentetsu Train Station. The hotel is located in the upper floors of the Maroot Building which houses a mall, a premium grocery with a small area with tables, perfect to have some light meal. We got some sashimi after our day at Kurobe Gorge and before heading out on the train station. The room with got was good and clean. We got the Standard Twin Room and it was spacious enough. There's also a public bath in the hotel, perfect for a long day coming from Nagano via the Tateyama Alpine Route. I love how the lobby looks as well as the guest lounge and public bath, they all have that modern look that's stylish and clean. Security is good despite it being in the same building as the mall and use the same elevator to the lobby. From the lobby, to get into the elevator hall for the rooms, you need to scan your key card. then scan again on the elevator. Also to get into the public bath and to the guest lounge which offers water, ice, coffee and some snacks. While I appreciate the strict security, I think there's too much duplicate key card scanning. Basically you still have to scan to get into an area which is already inside a secured area. It's kinda overkill in my opinion :-) Staff is okay, they do what is expected of a hotel like this and they are good with their jobs but a bit aloof. They could improve in terms of friendliness. Aside from these things, the hotel was great, the space was comfortable and the ambiance was very nice and tasteful. Unfortunately, we only stayed a night.

This was a brand new hotel in Toyama by the time we arrived there. It was opened in March 2022, so everything looked new and fresh. It's a 5-minute walking distance from Toyama station, and opposite the Maroot shopping mall. The check-in and check-out process were smooth and seamless. Please note that if you plan to pay at the hotel, they will only charge you by the time you check out. The room we stayed was quite spacious with two single beds, one big sofa and a table. There were a small fridge and a smart TV. The amenities (tooth brushes, combs, etc.) were provided inside the room - two thumb-ups for this! They even provided a fancy coffee machine with two capsules of coffee provided. The bathroom was also pretty spacious as the toilet and bath tub were placed separately. The internet connection was pretty fast, so we could do a Zoom meeting smoothly.

I was surprised to learn you need to take off the shoes and store them in a locker before taking the elevator because everywhere is covered with tatami mats! You can enjoy the common bathhouse that has some special onzen facilities like water dropping from above (as if you were showering under a small waterfall), which was actually an old way of enjoying onzen that went back to Edo period if I am not mistaken. You can also enjoy fresh hot water right inside your room, which is another great thing about this franchise.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed 1 night at this property. There are just another 2 other international chain hotel in this mid-size city with another one (Doubletree by Hilton) coming in early 2023. Other international guests seems to be mainly employees which visits this city for the Fujifilm site and it seems to cater to also tour groups - during my visit there was a bus load of Korean tourist. Location The hotel is located about 15-20 mins walk from the main Toyama train station. In front of the hotel was a tram stop (serviced by the City Circle tram) and about 5 mins walk away another tram stop which has more frequency. Around the hotel within walking distance are different shopping streets and eateries. Right in front of the hotel is the Toyama castle, and other touristic attractions also within walking distance. To sum up, the property is favorably centrally located. Check In I arrived around 1 pm at the property to a quiet front desk area - however the employees seemed to be busy. However upon noticing my presence, I was immediately called upon. I was informed that my rooms were not ready (I had 2 rooms reserved). However the check-in process was completed and I was informed that I could keep my bags stored and they would be brought up to the room. I only had to come back later to retrieve the room card later. I was upgraded to a higher category room. I was also asked about my option for my Welcome Gift - which I selected for the Welcome drink option. Since my room was with breakfast, I was also provided with a breakfast voucher. All in all a very warm welcome to the hotel. Room I arrived late afternoon back to the hotel - upon receiving my keys I was informed that the bags were already in one of the rooms. I was given two rooms, next to each other at the end of the hallway. The room size was rather spacious and although dated, as in lots of other Crowne Plaza's in Japan, the room was rather dated but well maintained and functional. There was a working desk and a small area with a seating area. The window in the room was on the small side - with a view towards the city area. The internet speed was good and stable - with login via the One Rewards login page. The only small complain is the TV, it was on the smaller side with the usual channel options found in these international chain hotels in Japan. The bed was luckily not on the hard side and sleep quality was good. Climate control was good - with the room maintained at the set temperature. Tea/coffee making amenities and Japanese Yakuta was provided. The bathroom was sufficiently spacious with a bathtub. Water pressure and temperature control was good. Toiletries were in pump size bottled. There was additional amenities provided - which is typical for such hotel level in Japan and in addition the Crowne Plaza sleep comfort package, Skyview Bar To use my Welcome Drink voucher, I used it at the hotel's Skyview bar - which is at the highest floor of the hotel, which is one o

PPengguna TetamuWir waren in der Gegend unterwegs und haben nur eine Übernachtung benötigt. Das Zimmer war sauber, man bekommt Seife, Shampoo und einige andere Produkte im Hotel. Das Frühstück war üppig, japanisch und westliche Gerichte ( wie Misosuppe, Reis, Brot, Margarine Marmelade usw. Auch bei den Getränken gibt’s gute Auswahl. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, ist kein Luxushotel, aber genau richtig, wenn man eben nur einen Platz zum Übernachten benötigt. Wer mit dem Auto anreist kann für eine Nacht für ¥500 direkt beim Hotel parken.

PPengguna Tetamu富山駅に直結の最高立地なので、どこへ行くにも至便でした。ドトールコーヒーやコンビニ、薬局チェーンが同じビルにあり、地下にはスーパーマーケットまであり、地元の食材や安く買いたい土産物の物色が可能、もちろん、本格的なお土産調達も、とやマルシェがお隣。 家族でトリプルルームを利用しましたが、部屋は清潔で、寝心地も良く、快適でした。エクストラベットの配置は構造上仕方ないかな。朝食込みの料金設定なので、あまり期待せずに頂きましたが、ます寿し、ホタルイカ、かまぼこなど地元の食材も提供されており、和洋、一通りのメニューが楽しめました。個人的には仕上げに朝カレーが有難かったです。 フロント奥のスペースが、ラウンジスペースになっており、コーヒーやソフトドリンクが無料提供されており、ちょっと嬉しいサービスでした。 なお、駐車場は地鉄ビル駐車場が指定ですが、曲がり角がそもそも見つけにくい、他の２つの駐車場が手前にあり間違いやすいので、ＨＰで事前にチェックしておく方が無難です。

PPengguna Tetamu出張で帰りが0時を超えるため、深夜にチェックイン。受付の男性も無愛想でしたが、そこは大目にみて部屋へ。部屋はシングルのためコンパクト。スリッパは使い捨てのものがなくサンダルタイプのため不快でした。今時共有タイプだけはケチっているのが伺えます。深夜のチェックインのため部屋のシャワーを利用したが、まさかの冷水とお湯を混ぜて温度を調整するタイプでした。シャワーが終わり眠気もピークに達したところで一眠りしようとウトウトしていたところ、冷蔵庫から「ガタガタガタガタ」という音にビックリして目が覚めました。しかもこの音が5〜10分おきぐらいに定期的にやってくるためまったく眠れませんでした。コンセントを抜こうとしましたが、束になって固定されていたため抜くことができず諦めました。（これに関しては悪意を感じました。）そして極めつけはフロア全体の騒音です。どこからともなく「ハクション」という大きなくしゃみをしたおじさんの声がフロア全体に響き渡り、まさかの「激」壁薄の造り。再開発で次々と新しいビジネスホテルや観光ホテルができている中で、この感じを味わえるのはある意味レアなホテルでした。

And one of the best things at this hotel is a very generous number of amenities provided to guests - bath pads, body sponge, toothbrush kit, and many others. Even though the location is a bit far from Toyama JR station, it’s not hard to find, and it’s quite walkable from the station. The lady at the reception was super nice. She reminded us of what Japanese are really like. If I get a chance to visit his tower again in the future, I would definitely come back to this hotel.

PPengguna TetamuLooks like a rather dated hotel but again one of its plus is location, rather an easy access from Toyama Station, a straight road with a right turn into a smaller side road, and I was there ... however when I have my luggage, the walk always seems longer ... It is also located within the vicinity of many places of interest that Toyama has within walking distance. Other plus ponts this hotel has is that it has a coin-operated laundryr oom complete with dryers offering complimetary detergent, and the room rate comes with Japanese breakfast, not elaborate but suffice. The only comment that I had for the room was that duvet didn't smell that fresh as in a new check-in room.

PPengguna TetamuRooms are o.k, onsen is great and food option not so good... Arrived there quite early at 15:30 Hotel was kind to sent a shuttle to pick me up from Tateyama station. There are no taxis there and no public transportation. However when I arrived to the hotel I learned that there are no eating options unless you pre-order at least 24 hours in advance your dinner. For such a large hotel that quite a few people stay, I find it a bit strange. They should at least have some very easy to prepare items, like pasta. I was offered small dish of sushi and soba soup, probably after they felt sorry for me... So that was nice, but still think they should have some simple items available in their restaurant. The onsen was great! Rooms are simple and comfortable. There is absolutely nothing to do around and if you are without your own car, better to arrive late, or just before dinner, assuming you order it before. Good hotel but can very easily turn to be a great hotel...
