Hotel berhampiran Grandi Scuole, Trapani

A fabulous hotel. We stayed in a room with a balcony which was a nice size, very comfortable and clean. The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of choice. Staff were happy and want to help you. They gave us some ideas for different types of restaurants, one that we went to was a pizza restaurant, it was the best pizza I have ever eaten! The hotel is centrally located to the port and the beaches, right in the middle of the roads to take you to the shops. It is quiet with a large car park (payable) and a garden type piazza. There is a fabulous bakery/cafe attached to the building. I would definitely stay again. Do check your rooms though as this is a converted hotel from a very old building so each room is slightly different in shape and size.

I stayed at this marvelous hotel from 18.July- 22.July. I travel a lot but this hotel really impressed me in so warm way:) There is bus going from Trapani airport and stops 300m from hotel. Hotel is located in central part of Trapani city and very close to beach and beautiful parks with lot of flowers and palms. Old town is just 10 minutes away by foot. Beach is just few minutes away. Main walking street with lot of shops and Gelato cafes is just 2 blocks away. When I arrived to hotel, I was so impressed by beauty around, I was happy already before enter reception. When I check inn, I noticed how friendly and helpful is stuff. I adore this personal approach, felt special from first minute. All days and everyone who is working here is very helpful, smiley, polite. Stuff is just gem of that place, each of them is real treasure and made my stay so special. I have double room in 2 floor. Room was very clean, lot of space, with nice art pieces on walls. Bed was very comfortable, I had good sleep here. Breakfast is super timing for those who love sleep more in vacation- from 7:00 - 11:00. There are lot of choice for those who love salty and sweet. You can try traditional Italian cakes. And all types of coffee drinks are available:) All stuff here is so polite and helpful- I enjoy every breakfast:) If You want to visit places around Trapani, reception will help You with information. I adore everything about this super hotel. Thank You for being so special, hotel Vittoria. Before we even checked in, we found Historico to be very helpful when we emailed them with questions. If you have a late flight coming in to Trapani-Birgi Airport, Historico can arrange a 30 euro taxi for you to remove the hassle of getting the bus. The area the hotel is situated in is beautiful and feels very safe. We arrived at around 11PM, and the front doors were open. This is unusual at this time, but we soon realised that the staff member at the desk, Filippo, was waiting inside to welcome us. It can be a little difficult in Italy for travellers to find their hotels, so we really appreciated this, especially given the late hour. Filippo then gave us excellent advice on where to eat, what to see, which bus to take and more. At the end of our trip, he even offered to store our luggage until we returned for it. This allowed us to visit Erice, which we found stunning. The room itself is jaw-dropping. The ceilings are about 20 feet high, the room is very spacious with a huge bed and beautiful bathroom. There’s even a balcony. Considering the Historico’s low prices, the room and service completely blew us away. We paid average prices for a 5-star experience, and we couldn’t be happier. Super mega big bed, simply divine. Big room, there was a refrigerator. Downstairs in the lobby of the hotel you can buy some snacks, also warm ones, which you can heat right there in the microwave oven. The reception staff was very responsive, I came to find it, I wanted to put my bags, but she offered to give me another room, because mine wasn't ready yet. I was so happy because I was tired. The hotel is next to the station. The room was quiet, but I could barely hear the neighbors shouting because they were cursing very loudly. I had also ordered a taxi to the airport, which was organized by the hotel, and a nice smelling taxi arrived.

I have absolutely no idea why this hotel has 3.5 stars and not 4.5/5. We have literally just arrived but first and foremost what a stunningly beautiful structure and hotel. I nearly didn’t book as I was put off by the reviews, hence the reason to write a review within 10 mins of getting our room. We arrived early morning to be greeted by the reception staff with a friendly smile and despite our room not being available this wasn’t a problem as they were happy to store our luggage so we could go and explore. The said to come back at a time which was and hour an half earlier than the official check in, the proceeded to give us the checking information so when we returned we could be shown straight to our room. Well what an amazing first impression, stunning room, on the second floor which displays original features from the historic Sicilian church that the building once was. The lobby area outside the room has comfy sofas and again beautiful architecture. Staff showed us to the room and explained everything. Rooms are fully equipped with a kitchen area, sofa and dining area, bedroom area and clean and function bathroom. Everything is decorated to an incredibly high spec, WiFi working perfectly (full service, not sure why the bad reviews on this previously)! Walked up to the pool areas which is amazing, gorgeous views of the rooftops of Sicily and the sea in the distance. Anyone afraid of booking please don’t hesitate like I did, ignore the bad reviews and book straight away you won’t be disappointed.

We spent a wonderful week in Scily travelling by car around the island. Visited impressive sightseeing places. At the end of the trip decided to stay in Trapani before the flight. And as a wonderful end of our adventures was the stay in the perfect apartment. It is a real well equipped , of modern design and marvellous atmosphere appartment. The host are super hospitable and friendly, enjoyed communucating with them. Everything that you want to see is 1-10 min walk. A lot of restaurants around. The streets are clean , people smily and lively. Thank you for the opportunity to stay in this appartment. That was luck for us.

19 room boutique hotel very clean everything you might need ..,breakfast nothing missing ....hotel situated in the old town of Trapani central to all shops & restaurants most of all the staff especially on reception were fantastic helpful & polite any question asked was kindly dealt with the girls Marta & Clara were so knowledgeable on the area giving me & my friend a great itinerary everyday on where to go what to see & best of all where to eat local food ice cream & cakes no problem with the English language the girls spoke at least 5 languages & very well so the experience overall was excellent I must also say that I found Trapani a very safe place to be in late at night walking around asking for direction the local people very obliging ! Food always fresh & of course if you like fish you'd be in the right place fresh tuna everywhere & prepared in all sorts of ways I would say local deli's are the best places to eat if you don't always want to sit in a restaurant & walking shoes a must if your not travelling around by car

We loved our stay at La Gancia. The minute you walk through the door you’re treated like royalty. Andrea and one of his colleagues a lady was exceptionally helpful and friendly during our stay. The room was spacious and you have a massive balcony overlooking the sea. We loved the outdoor terrace. The room also had a microwave, small fridge and lots of cutlery. Breakfast each day was excellent with a mix of pastries, yogurt, cereal and eggs, bacon and mushrooms. The staff at breakfast also lovely and always remembered my coffee order. Everything is walkable from this hotel. Would definitely stay again and I’ve recommended Trapani and La Gancia to a few friends since our visit. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Ho scelto l'Hotel Tiziano per trascorrere due notti a Trapani come base per visite a Favignana ed Erice. L'hotel ha una posizione strategica per l'accesso agli imbarchi per le Egadi, ma si trova fuori dal centro storico della città e, dunque, in posizione più scomoda per uscite serali. La camera era spaziosa, ben arredata, pulita con aria condizionata e frigobar. Il personale disponibile. La colazione è ricca con dolce/salato e piuttosto tradizionale nella scelta. Vero punto di forza dell'Hotel è il parcheggio interno alla struttura, veramente comodo.
