St. Austell

The hotel/bedroom was okay but this site is a bit tired. The reason for the low score is the restaurant experience. Evening meal took forever to get to the table. The staff do their best but they need some help and support. Also there is nowhere to sit if you just wanting a drink unless it's outside. Breakfast was a disappointment as well, particularly the dining area, it was not well cleaned and the chairs are very dirty and stained.

Jill & Jemma at front reception have been exceptional for my stay here, couldn’t fault them at all! Very welcoming and made me feel at ease from when I first arrived. Great work keep it up! Gave me great knowledge of the surrounding areas with some great recommendations! Will definitely be staying again when I can.

Always a nice welcome from Jen, Jemma and the team here in Carclaze. The rooms are always clean and tidy and this hotel represents good value for money. My room was cleaned by Lena to a high standard and was well equipped with everything needed for an over night stay. Thanks to the great team here!

The hotel was great but the adjoining pub was lacking in most areas.not enough staff serving behind the bar,running out of steak knife’s,table clearing not done in a timely manner,

We are regular customers of Premier inns. We visited this one before and it has had a facelift and is much better. The reception staff are very good and welcoming. Our room was clean and you can choose if you want it cleaned throughout the stay. We stayed 5 days so it was cleaned once and again its non intrusive and done well. We had the two for 12 pound meals which were good and also ate in the restaurant on another evening.. Unfortunately there were no cheese pies which we enjoy so we changed our choices but both of our choices were very good and hot. Breakfast was very good and seeing the staffing seems short everyone really worked hard. It was an enjoyable stay. Also close to many attractions.

comfortable bed for night, clean and tidy room very lacking in a comfortable place to sit.. Very convenient for Eden Project.. Wish we had chosen to eat elsewhere in evening Dinner and Services was very poor. As always Breakfast was very good.

The accessibility of the hotel and room was excellent. Brilliant bathroom for access needs the best I’ve ever had, I would definitely recommend

Okay if rather tired Premier Inn. Staff friendly enough and the place was clean. Wi-Fi just about acceptable. The attached restaurant/pup food can only be described as abysmal.Think about the worst motorway service restaurant food you have had, I guarantee it would be better than what you get served here.

The bathroom is my favorite part of the room. I love that the towels came in different sizes. The food in the whitbread inn is lovely. I was always looking forward to my mealtime. The receptionists were all lovely, professional and very helpful.
