We had a lovely time at this hotel .It is absolutely spotless the staff take a lot of pride in all that they do , very polite .We arrived early morning after a very early flight so no sleep but our room was ready for us so that was such a relief. When we went into our room we were very disappointed as it was quite small :No problem there we were given another room which we absolutely loved (no extra cost by the lovely lady on reception). Not many people stay there for a week like us ,Lots of groups for 1 or2 nights .Nice breakfast really good fresh bread pastries, cereals fruits Few cooked items too very nice :Very well situated for ferry to Split 5 mins walk, from hotel very easy to do . Beautiful views across the harbour to Trogir which is 10 mins walk across the bridge: Trogir has lots of history cobbled streets lots of restaurants little takeaways and shops fruit market and market stalls across bridge to bus station .Planes do fly right above hotel but didn’t bother us at all : This is a wonderful hotel and would absolutely recommend if you want to stay in Trogir so close to airport and Split too ..

Unfortunately we wouldn't recommend the hotel for the following reasons: - - The hotel is directly under the flight path to Split Airport. When in your room or lying by the pool any chance of relaxation or peace is prevented by the regular plane traffic overhead, at quite low altitude from circa 07.00 to circa 23.00. - The hotel is a reasonably-short walk into Trogir (10-15 minutes) but the majority of this is along a busy road with no footpath so certainly not an enjoyable walk and at times dangerous. A new promenade was being constructed when we visited and is apparently due to be completed by Summer 2024. But in the meantime it is very unpleasant to walk to Trogir, seems to short a distance to take a taxi and it is a shame the hotel have not put anything in place to mitigate this (e.g. a shuttle bus even if at a small charge). - Our room was nicely decorated but not very spacious e.g. no room to store our full-size suitcase (we moved it around the floor and put it in front of the door when we were inside) and not much storage space in the wardrobe (we kept most of our things in the suitcase). - The bathroom floor was exceptionally (dangerously) slippery when wet to the point that the shower floor was like an ice rink with nothing to cling on to if you slipped (which we did). The only way we managed to use it safely was to wear the hotel's free slippers which was a strange way to take a shower but at least we didn't sustain any bruises or broken bones or need to wish each other good luck in advance of using it. - The air con was not only noisy but also blew sporadically as though you were in a gusty wind (reminiscent of a stormy winter night in the UK) and there was no means to direct it away from one side of the bed (the other side was out of the wind!). There was no fly screen and also it was very hot when we stayed, so we had to use the air con. I mentioned the issue when we checked out and apparently it is a 'known problem' - They have a strange towel regime with a card to get two towels, then you get the card back on returning the towels , then swap it back again for the next towels...with an exorbitant charge noted as being due if you failed to have the card in your possession on check out. I think the system was new when we visited and it seemed very confusing/likely to cause issues (although we managed to avoid any). It seems the hotel must have a problem with towel theft, but we have seen better ways to combat this and the staff were not up to speed/there was a towel bin by the pool where I nearly put my towels before remembering I needed to get a card back. - A small point but the orange juice at breakfast did not taste like orange juice...other than that the breakfast was very nice, especially the avocado egg benedict. I have noted the negatives first as unfortunately we thought they far outweighed the positives to the point that we would definitely not visit again or recommend the hotel to others and so, for us, they paled i
