Well what can I say. It's supposed to be the 4 star hotel. the location is great. The staff working there work very hard and are polite. Breakfast is really good. However the facilities Inside our room are terrible. We had to call the facility twice!!! The plugs in the room only working 1 !!! I think they need to get rewiring. Very dated facility inside the room. They eventually brought us an extension cable. The bed mattress was also terrible. Other than that I liked this hotel but I don't give them 4 stats.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are really sizeable and offer good value. The bed was extremely comfortable. The staff were all super friendly(speaking English) and helpful. The hotel is 100 meters from the very efficient subway system which we used to get to the historic centre and to and from dinner - as easiest to avoid trying to find a parking spot in town for the car (the hotel offers free parking). The hotel complex in the old FIAT factory includes a shopping mall, supermarket, the roof race track an art museum and a conference centre.

I stayed at Plaza hotel during my conference at Lingotto Turin. The location is 15 minutes walk from Torino Porto Nuova. But the metro line is passing the hotel then it is easy access to center and the conference area. It is not very new hotel but most rooms are renovated although the interior is quite blank. The lobby is small but the reception staffs are super kind. Very helpful and always keen to answer your question. This hotel has two lifts and the breakfast room is just a few meters from the lobby. The breakfast is so so, almost same menu during my five days stay. Room is quite nice as I stay in deluxe room, the bathroom is old style. There is free coffee and tea but seldom replenish. No house keeping during the stay. There is a water dispenser and free PC at second floor for use and a small lounge at second floor. The free wifi speed depends on which room you are staying. My room was really slow Wifi as it is near the corner. If you attending a conference and need cheap but acceptable place to sleep,then this is your best choice. From hotel you can reach Porto Nouva even by us or metro as it is just a few meter from the hotel. There is also a small Spar minimarket near hotel. A quite nice chinese restaurants, some Italian restaurants and a kebab.

I'll start by stating this is better than 2, The reason I give 2 circles is that when I buked this I had better choices in same area but this showed with good rating and selected this. The main problem is that the hotel is very small, with small rooms, small elevators, small spaces. I write this for American tourists as they will be very surprised and have a dimensional shock by this doll house. The elevators will fit only one person with small luggage. In the room I banged in the bed and the chair many times as is very small and only slightly bigger than the small bed. I don't think a person in wheel chair can get in any of the rooms alone. In a few words for same price similar location there are better options. Also very noisy mostly from inside. On the positive side the hotel was clean and personnel helpful. Nice location. Local buss connects to airport for E8 one way.

We stayed here as a couple for two nights stay. We were shocked by how nice our room was at first glance, seemed very modern and had a cool balcony. However we soon noticed that there were loads and loads of ants on the floor, wardrobe, bathroom. We obviously told the staff who, when we went out, said they sprayed everywhere/surface in the room with I presume bug spray. This was fine I suppose apart from the fact that all of this spray will have gone all over all our belongings and our bed, which isn’t great. Some ants remained but they said there was nothing more they could do. The main thing you want in a hotel is for it to be clean (bug-less) so this was a real downer as we darent put anything on the floor or in the wardrobe incase ants got in it! We then got a visit saying we were being too loud when ironically I was writing a review on the last place we stayed whilst my partner showered, so we certainly weren’t being loud, not even speaking. Aircon was very loud, couldn’t keep it on all night as it sounded like a car, but at least it worked. Breakfast was fine, hot food looked horrible but they had yoghurts and juice which sufficed. Very good location!

The hotel is located in a quiter part of the San Salvario district, south of the city center. It is just south of Valentino park, a beautiful city park. Public transportation is easily available with busses just outside the hotel, and trams and the subway a short walk away. The hotel will also rent you a bicycle, if available, for 9 euro a day. It is about one mile south of Porta Nuova Station and about 1.5 - 2 miles from the Egyption museum and Royal Palace. The hotel offers parking and has EV charging stations. The rooms are huge! I had a suite with a bedroom, a bathroom, a living room, and a kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with cookware and dinnerware. It also had a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, and washing machine. The living room has two non-sleeper couches, a dining table, and a TV. The bedroom has a large doubke bed, but no TV. WiFi is free and strong. The hotel has a spa, which I did not get to use, with services discounted for hotel guests and free access. There is also a restaurant, which I also did not use. It would definitely be a comfortable place to stay for a longer stay, like a business trip. I am not sure what arrangements they can make for families. As large as my suite was, it could really only occupy one person or a couple comfortably.

Très bien situé près de la gare avec accès facile pendant le journée où une charmante personne vous accueille. La chambre familiale est grande mais le lit pour les enfants est double et non twin. De plus le matelas est juste posé à même le sol. La salle de bain est propre ainsi que la chambre. Seul bémol, la chambre ne possède pas de double vitrage et la rue est assez bruyante : voitures, train mais surtout hommes qui parlent fort en pleine nuit.

An excellent hotel, significant cheaper than the rip off prices in London, good location. 1.70 euro by subway from the centre, but get a multi ticket for a lot less. eg 3 day 10 euro. Stayed 3 nights , unfortunately for me this will probably one of my last stays as a diamond member, this stay will be remembered for that. The Lingotto stop is the better because you can walk through the shopping mall and access the shopping mall direct from the 2nd floor. ( rear lift) . Staff excellent: Only slight negative comment- the restaurant is fairly limited in choice but you would probably eat out so not an issue from our perspective. pricing of the menu though very fair. Good selection for the continental breakfast . Good gym equipment- located on each floor ive never seen that before. if back in Turin this is where we will stay.

Although the location is a bit faraway from the train station, our stay here was great and we enjoyed the service. The rooms was spacious and there's a balcony with inside view. Stayed in room 350. Very surprised to find the morning after check-in that the 5 adjacent rooms are under construction--electric saws and construction equipment started at 7:45 in the morning on Saturday and went all day until 5pm. Restarted on Monday morning at 8 am. There was construction dust, noise, and complaints to the staff about not being advised at check in or offered another room were met with a shrug by the clef's d'or concierge. Though the property is nice, it didn't make up for the noise and inconvenience. A written complaint with photos went to Best Western Italy.

È un alberghetto vecchio stampo, dall’eleganza un po retro e con ancora le chiavi in ottone pesantissime che devi per forza lasciare in albergo quando esci a fare un giro. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza spaziose, il personale è gentile e disponibile. La posizione è in pieno centro di fianco alle maggiori attrazioni di Torino. L’unico neo è che se venite in macchina dovete parcheggiare nel silos di fianco che ha un costo di ben 24 euro/gg. Nonostante il passaggio del tram proprio sotto ho dormito bene, le stanze sono ben insonorizzate. Colazione nella norma, con discreta scelta di cibi dolci e salati. L’hotel dispone al suo interno di una trattoria pugliese/piemontese che però noi non abbiamo provato. Albergo quindi senza troppe pretese ma assolutamente conveniente da scegliere come base per Torino.

This is hotel really lives up to its 4 stars, and it’s such good value for money. It’s situated right next to the cathedral and is easy walking distance of everything. The architecture is stunning. The receptionist was charming, and made every effort to accommodate us, especially as my husband has a disability. Access and parking were easy. The rooms are well equipped with different glasses, cups, kettle, Lavazza coffee machine (this is Turin) , well stocked mini bar, fluffy towels, very comfy bed. The bar is pleasant and there is an atrium garden for when it’s warmer. Our dinner in the restaurant was interesting: it’s modern Italian cooking, but good and reasonably priced. If you want traditional Piedmontese food there is a square around the corner with multiple bars and restaurants. At our request the receptionist arranged a private car tour of Turin because my husband cannot walk very far. All done with efficiency and charm. We can’t rate this hotel highly enough.

I must admit I had my concerns. My first impression I had when I saw this place while booking it was that it is some kind of a youth hostel. Yet, I took the chance and booked it. I am glad I found this most welcoming hotel. This is a mixed facility. The first 4 floors are only for university students and the top 2 (5+6) are for hotel guests. The decoration is great, new and maintained greatly. They even installed a new decorative wall paper in our floor even that the walls were in a very good shape. The staff is great, both at the front desk and the Baristas at the open dining area. The lower ground of the hotel is amazing. It has laundry machines and dryers operated by a convenient app provided by the front desk. It has quiet learning area, a gym, cooking stations, table tennis, pool table and a large screen to project your movies. Breakfast is very basic, yet, the coffee is great. The rooms terraces face the interior yard in which students may gather and have some fun. Don't mistake, it is fun, not extra noise or anything like it.

Where do I even start with this?! We had booked a family room for me, my wife & 14 year old son and a double room for my mum. When we checked in we were on floor 2 and my mum was on floor 5! Worst thing about it is that the lift only goes to floor 4 and she is 74 and needs two knee replacements. Nowhere does it say you have to walk up any steps let alone that many. We asked if we could be closer together only to be told no we are full with a conference. Why a conference have to be near each other at the expense of a family I can only assume it's because we are English. I booked the room 3 weeks prior to staying so I don't know why they couldn't put us closer together, surely common sense would tell you a family would like to be closer together like hotels do in the UK. When we got to our family room it looked like something from the 1940's and it stank of smoke. To our horror we found that it was a smoking room! I didn't think there were any hotels around that still did smoking rooms. And why would you put a family with a child in a smoking room? We asked again at reception if we could move, told again they were full but they would put a machine in there to help with the smell. Also said we might be able to move room tomorrow as the conference people will be gone. That didn't happen either. Three different staff on each time we asked, all said they would help us, none of them did, they just hoped we left it. When we left they charged us an extra €25, when I queried it they said it was tourist tax but that was already included on the bill so I queried it again only to be told that my 14 year old was classed as an adult as children are only classed up to age 12 there so they added that on without telling me. We stayed in Milan two days before and they didn't charge our son city tax. Seriously there are so many other hotels in Turin, stay in one of those because these lot clearly don't like 'foreigners' and don't even try to hide it.

Very nice and friendly place, they contacted me before arrival and knowing that I’m bringing my cat, they prepared a cat sand box and food bowl in the room! The only small problem, we were told we could stay until 1pm with our special package (that also includes candies for the kids and parking benefits) but the next day they told us they were very full so we have to leave at 12. Breakfast was included in the package. Amazing selections of donuts! Room was really big (separate room for kids) and beds and pillows were really comfy.

I stayed at this hotel for four nights, conveniently located near the Polytechnic. The room, all services and breakfast were all of a high standard. The room temperature was set at 21 deg C (high coming from UK winter) which I changed daily to something lower, when I remembered to do so. As a result, I used the minibar for two tins of lemonade as became very thirsty. I realised there would be a charge but I could find no information as to what this would be. I suggest that at 5 Euro per tin (on an honesty basis) this charge is far too high a markup ie half this would have been acceptable. So I downgrade my rating from 5 star to 4 star.

What a brilliant hotel - a real unexpected gem. We stayed here in Turin for 4 nights and were honestly blown away by the quality of this hotel - especially as it was within budget. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, very modern, and even boasts a fabulous rooftop solarium that has Bali beds, a hammock, sun beds and a jacuzzi pool. Our room was spacious with comfortable beds, tea and coffee making facilities, a fridge, a large, immaculate bathroom - and black out shutters that provided a wonderfully in disturbed sleep. Our room was silent - no noise from outside or from other guests. It was cleaned to a high standard every day and was immaculate in every way. It’s been one of our favourite stays anywhere to date. The staff are friendly, helpful and a real joy to interact with. We happily sat at night in one of the two lounge areas and felt relaxed and happy there. There were so many lovely touches that just made our stay extra special. and we really didn’t want to leave! We would absolutely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone who might be going to Turin on a city break or for business. Thank you to all the staff for looking after us so well. We’ll be back!! :)

Ho prenotato 2 notti in questo hotel per 183 euro, colazione inclusa. L'impatto appena arrivato non è stato molto positivo per alcune ragioni che provo a sintetizzare: - Reception: Appena arrivato, alla reception c'era un signore che mi ha solamente chiesto un documento e mi ha dato la chiave dicendo di scendere più tardi per riavere il documento. Non mi ha spiegato nulla sulla colazione e non ha aggiunto altro. La verità è che c'era il cambio turno, perché appena sceso c'era un'altra signora molto gentile che mi ha spiegato tutto sulla colazione e mi ha dato informazionituristiche. Non è stato un problema, ma non è molto professionale. - La stanza: La stanza era piccola, ma essendo da solo andava bene. Purtroppo però, era datata. C'erano lampade in tessuto ingiallite, muri riverniciati ma con un palese bisogno di ristrutturazione. La serratura della porta non funzionava bene. La manopola del lavandino si staccava se la si girava un po' di più. Il sapone in stanza era una micro boccetta più una bustina: mi è dovuto bastare per 2 notti ma per stare sicuri, consiglio di portarne un po'. Dotata di frigobar, anche questo vecchissimo è mezzo scassato, e di un climatizzatore che però non rinfrescava. - Colazione: La colazione viene servita nel seminterrato ed è continentale, devo dire abbastanza varia ma non sempre con prodotti freschi (come le albicocche sciroppate). Tutto sommato, la colazione è stato un fattore positivo. - Posizione: La posizione dell'hotel è a due passi a piedi dalla stazione di Porta Nuova, molto comoda anche per andare in centro a piedi. - Prezzo: come detto, 183 euro per due notti con colazione inclusa. Secondo me, considerando che la struttura è vecchia, il prezzo è un po' alto. Insomma, se cercate un punto di appoggio per un paio di notti va bene. Come viaggiatore solitario non avevo molte pretese. Certo però, il prezzo non corrisponde esattamente alla qualità della stanza e della struttura in generale. Per soggiorni più lunghi, onestamente, lo sconsiglio.
