This hotel initially bothered me because the parking was valet only. However, the staff was exceptional and my car was downstairs every time I used the text retrieval! I loved it. Rooms are well thought out, bathrooms are clean and well equipped. The food is also good. I have only one complaint and this is only in hopes that the hotel hears it and corrects this a bit. This hotel was really new when I stayed here and it seemed like they might be working out some kinks. If the hotel is valet only you should definitely have bell service. On my arrival I had help getting my things up. However, I needed help getting all my things down and was told I could grab a cart. I needed help as I had a broken rib, getting all of my work cases down with the cart was hard. I travel with merchandise and sometimes I need help, as do many for various reasons. Other than this, I found The Archer fantastic and will stay there again. I'm in DC for work at least 4 times a year.
