Highly recommended. The room is beautiful and has an amazing view of the lake. Santhosh provided excellent service to me and my husband. He was very helpful. We love the experience so much we extended our stay.

It was an amazing experience at Taj Fateh Prakash Udaipur- the impeccable hospitality, the perfect food and memorable heritage tour of the palace! The staff lead by Shivangi gave us most memorable moments to cherish! The birthday dinner at Taj Lake Palace with folk music and amazing food was simply superb!

A hotel which met our expectations from the moment we entered the reception area. A wonderful greeting and check-in experience. Our room was amazing, with a fantastic view over the lake. Breakfast and Evening meals were lovely, with impeccable service from the staff. We would enjoy afternoons swimming, relaxing and enjoying the pool area after a morning of sightseeing.

I can't recommend this hotel more highly- the best experience during our 2+ weeks in India! The hotel is centrally located and steeped in history- it was previously part of the royal palace - and the Taj does a great job of celebrating that history. Original art and sculptures from the ruling family's collection are seen throughout the hotel. All of the staff bent over backwards to make our stay amazing - Bhawna arranged the most amazing tour guide (Suresh - the BEST!), recommended a fantastic restaurant, and otherwise saw to everything. Sandeep saw that we had rooms with amazing views, and Naishali took care of our room and even surprised us with special decorations to celebrate our anniversary! All in all, an experience we will never forget!

We had a great time celebrating our 30th Anniversary at the Taj Fateh Palace over a 5 day/4 night stay. Bhawna ensured that we were well taken care of and all of our plans for sightseeing, airport pickup/dropoff, dinners were perfectly arranged to the highest level. Really appreciated the attention and care that was provided by all of the staff at the property and its truly a reflection on the management for running such a welcoming environment for guests, where they feel they are truly being provided a "Maharana or Maharani" experience.

Just adjacent to the City Palace and the residence of the Maharaja give you a feeling of rubbing shoulders with the Royals. Fabulous views of Lake Pichola and unique rooms, alcoves and recreational areas gives you a feeling of exploration. The Sunset Restaurant is a jewel. Naval who regaled us with his experience of serving the Crown Prince. Bhagirath at the front desk were super helpful and efficient in making our stay memorable.

Beautiful place to stay in Udaipur. Celebrated our 3rd anniversary with a luxurious stay, amazing views, great hospitality and sumptuous tasty meals. Must visit for all! Bhagirath treated us wonderfully and took care of all our requirements.

Taj has set a certain level of expectation for me and the world alike, somehow they always seem to exceed it. It was no different at the Taj Fateh Prakash, a historical property with the rich history of both Udaipur and Taj harmoniously blended into one. Overlooking the lake it was both luxurious and homely and the same time, meals with a view overlooking the lake and the feeling of royalty, I couldn't ask for any more. The staff are the backbone of any place and here at the Taj Fateh Prakash they were amazing and Bhagirath made us feel very comfortable.
