Must visit place astonishing rooftop view with amazing sunset feels very peaceful staff was so helpful and everything is topnotch

I travelled to Moustache Luxuria Udaipur in the first week of April 2024 with my ten year old child and husband. My worst nightmare started the moment I reached the hotel at 8:30 pm in the night...I booked my room as a family but somehow the booking showed as two adults only.. We were not much bothered and requested the person at reception to charge us extra amount for our child.. As we did not need any extra bed or amenities for our only child. But to my amazement he said that I have to book an extra room as I have a child with me....I was amazed and shocked at the same time..He was very ada***t and rude at the same time..The road to the hotel is not reachable by any public transportation AS ITS A TINY LANE WITHIN THE STREETS except a auto booked by the hotel. I was worried at our situation where will will go at this hour of night.... After heckling for a while my husband spoke with the ***ager and we were given a room. A room which could hardly fit a bed and no place to even walk.. A tiny bathroom with glass door and no curtains...AND THE SO CALLED VIEW OF LAKE PICHOLA COVERED WITH A HUGE TREE. we felt as if we were SCAMMED THE WAY WE WERE BEING FORCED TO TAKE AN ADDITIONAL ROOM AS THEY CANNOT ALLOW OUR TEN YEAR OLD SON IN SAME ROOM,,,, THEY HAVE INSENSITIVE AND UNTRAINED STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WHO MAKES YOU FEEL HELPLESS.... I WOULD NEVER FORGET THIS WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAD AT THIS HOTEL IN UDAIPUR.. YOU CAN HAVE ***Y BETTER OPTIONS AT THE SAME OR LESS PRICE NEARBY...PLEASE GO FOR THAT. BUT NEVER...EVER... STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

The experience is so nice and so comfortable and service is super helpful to me the food is so delicious and the embrace of the restaurant is so good.

The coustmer service was very nice and staff was also very cooperative Had a great time very good location and vibes we had a great trip perfect lake view from the rooms and the sun set from the rooftop was awesome lake pichola we had a compliment hi tea and mocktails but little tuff to reach property we can understand it's in old city and staff was so helpful we had a compliment pickup and drop from the parking point and all over our trip was memorable thank u we will visit again

We had a pleasant stay. Everything was perfect the place, The sunset from the property rooftop too all the attractions are near by we can reach by walk, also the staff was really friendly while our whole stay. All i wanna say good luck for your bright future.

THIS HOTEL IS A TOTAL SCAM WITH ALL THE PAID REVIEWS ON INTERNET. IT HAS SOME REALLY INSENSITIVE STAFF AT THE FRONT DESK WHO MAKES YOU FEEL HELPLESS.... THEY TAKE ALL THE ROOM CHARGES IN ADVANCE SO THET YOU ARE FORCED TO STAY IN THIS RIDICULOUS SMALL HOTEL.. I WOULD NEVER FORGET THIS WORSE EXPERIENCE I HAD AT THIS HOTEL IN UDAIPUR.. YOU CAN HAVE ***Y BETTER OPTIONS AT THIS PRICE NEARBY WITH LESSER ROOM CHARGES.....PLEASE GO FOR THAT. BUT NEVER...EVER... STAY AT THIS HOTEL.

The hotel is very basic but could work if front desk staff and ***agement were better trained to provide better customer service. Rooftop is really nice and staff in charge are friendly. Be ware of the fact that taxis drop you off blocks form the hotel and you have to push your luggage all the way to the hotel. We tried getting a Rickshaw, but we were not able to get one to take us all the way there. They would stop near by (200m away or so), but walking was always necessary. Service provided by the front desk staff was not good. We felt taken advantage of in multiple occasions. Be aware that they charge extra percentage when you pay your stay with credit card (and, if you don't pay attention, they do not even mention it to you). City tours offered have to be paid by cash only, and you are not made aware of that until it is time to pay, when probably you do not have the cash in hand. In addition, in our particular case, they offered one thing, and then deliver something different (with lower to much lower quality of what they had promised). One example is that they "helped" us book a transfer to Jodhpur, but we requested to have a tour guide for our transfer - in order to be able to stop at some important monuments and temples on the way. We paid what they charged us (which was over 2.5 times what "transportation only" would have cost us), and ended up getting just a cab ride with a driver that hardly spoke English and never even intended to come into the sites with us. When we got on the cab and we realized it was not what we had requested and paid for (a guide with driver), we immediately questioned the front desk by message and they assured us he would make the tour with us...which, of course, did not happen. At that point, there was no way to get our money back, since we were already being dropped off at a different city. Overall, we received very poor customer service from the staff at the front desk. Last, but not least, we returned back to the room the first evening, only to find that our room had not been serviced. Instead of taking responsibility for it, they put the blame on us stating that we had not left our room key at the front desk when we left in the morning...information that, of course, we were not made aware of when they saw us leave the hotel. Regardless, shouldn't all hotels have an extra key for every room (which they said they did not have) in case of an emergency? Overall, I would not really recommend this hotel for an overnight stay, but the rooftop deserves a visit.

The best view, hospitality , ambience and food in Udaipur. I have visited udaipur multiple times, but never had such an amazing experience. We were welcomed with superb refreshments, the rooms where neat and tidy and the view was the best. One cannot get a better view than this. The rooftop restaurant was spectacular. Never experienced such a scenic beauty of udaipur, like I experienced from the hotel. It is worth all the money. The staff, the locality, facility everything is 10/10.
