Pleasant 3 star hotel with some friendly staff In my opinion it is slightly over priced and requires some updating and decorating For the 3 days we were staying there the male manager at the main reception area continually reassured us that we would be able to pay and check out using our UK bank/credit cards On checking out of our rooms both our cards were declined as international cards are not accepted We then had to go to ATM's to withdraw cash and incurred bank charges The receptionist then lied when trying to explain that it had been a problem with the bank for a month so why didnt he say that on day one The cashier in the non veg restaurant downstairs was extremely rude to us and refused to serve us because there were no waiters available meaning that he would have to do the work The manager of the same restaurant was also quite rude standing by out table making conversations whilst we were eating our meal There are TV's in the room but during our stay no english channels were available

Went with a large group and spent very little time at the hotel. Very clean and bright rooms. Spacious with space to keep two suitcases on the luggage rack. Ironing board also in the room. Good breakfast and nice lunch. Very good service and reasonable. Mattresses or spring beds may need to be replaced

This is one of the best hotels I have been in India (under my budget). I loved it! The room was super big with wonderful views of the city; you could see up to Malpe (I was on the 8th floor, room 308). It was spotless clean and the staff were lovely. I couldn't ask for anything else. There is a nice pub with open view on the 4th floor to chill out at the end of the day. Besides the location is great, near Khrisna Temple and the bus terminal. I totally recommend it and if I go back to Udupi I'll stay here again.

Everything is great about this hotel. Very attentive staff. Everyone treats customers with respect. The location is also great as it is closer to everything like Srikrishna temple and beaches. For us, somebody attended at 4 AM to fix an issue with hot water. They also gave suggestions on sightseeing which were very helpful. Fodd in the in-house restaurant ”Madhuram” is also great. Particularly ”Goli-baje”. Overall very nice stay and I would recommend this to everyone.

We stayed at the hotel booking 2 rooms. One was Deluxe sea view, another was std Double bed room(non-sea facing). The stay experience was very pleasant. Likes: 1. Best Location in Malpe 2. Service/Staff behavior 3. Cleanliness 4. Food quality Some of the improvement areas as follows: 1. Furniture & fittings need revival 2. Food is overpriced in the in-house restaurant 3. Hotel rooms are prices based on 2 persons, not based on size. This can be re-priced based on accommodation capacity

We stayed in this resort for three nights from 24th to 27th Dec in Premium Room number 516 on 4th floor. The size of room was quite spacious and big. The room was clean. The bathroom size was also quite spacious and clean. As a bonus, it also had bath tub:-). All the staff including housekeeping, restaurant and front desk were very helpful, friendly and providing very prompt service. Buffet breakfast was of good quality and taste ***** with wide variety. However, the breakfast was served on 1st floor which was just a plain hall having plastic tables and chairs. Location of this resort was good as it meant that we were out of hustle-n-bustle of Udupi city. The distance of this resort from the nearest beach was just 15 minutes walk. The interior of the room and the hotel was dated. The rooms need painting. The furniture in the room such as wardrobe, cupboard etc needs polishing. The lobby in the reception area also had many patches of leakages and faded painting. Overall, this resort is in need of immediate refurbishing. They had provided Kettle and coffee mugs. But there was no tea bags/coffee/sugar sachets. I asked for the same to the reception but they said they can't provide the same. I also requested for hand towel, for which I got the same response from reception. Finally, since we stayed here during Christmas season, the price being charged was 2.5 times of normal rates. The price didn't justify the points I mentioned above. Unfortunately, for me it didn't turn out to be value for money.

PPengguna TetamuAbsolutely loved my stay at Tea Tree Suits, Manipal. Their service was top-notch— the staffs were attentive, friendly, and always ready to help. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was filled with warmth and hospitality.The rooms had this amazing sunset view every evening, making it super relaxing. The hotel's right in the middle of Manipal, so it was easy to go around. Everything felt calm and cozy. And, oh boy, you gotta try the pomfret fry—they nailed it! If you want a chill place with good vibes and yummy food 'Tea Tree' is the spot.

We loved our stay at Jyoti Residency. Will definitely recommend anyone going there to stay there. Spacious clean rooms and close to the temple. Very few hotels out there who can provide the services like them. We were lucky to get 2 rooms there as someone had cancelled by the time we got in to their hotel around 9.30pm. Scouted a dozen hotels in and around the area but did not find any clean and tidy for a family of 4 to stay. Out of desperation, would have ended up taking some lodge hadn't I tried my luck at Jyoti Residency. Always suggest everyone to book hotels before going to such places. We had gone during Ugadi so almost all hotels were completely booked for the night. Would like to thank Biju and his team at the reception desk who were helpful throughout our stay and always wore a smile. Would like to specially call out to Tikko (housekeeping staff) who got my severe bout of shivering to a halt with his hand and leg massage and Reji Annan (their in-house driver) who drove me all the way to the nearby hospital that is 30kms away (Adarsha Hospital, Kundapura Highway) at around 1am in the night and got me back to the room safely by 3.30am. I'm really happy that there are such good people in this friendly temple town who goes out of their way to help you (something that was missing in our previous day stay in an overhyped Cafe, Gokarna).

PPengguna TetamuThe biggest strength of this beautiful property is its strategic location. The infinity pool overlooking the lagoon is a view to die for. Surrounded by lush greenery this is a great property to stay. We are a couple with 2 kids aged 7 & 3 and had a lovely stay at the property. We stayed in the Deluxe rooms - the ones alloted to us were spacious but slightly dated. There were a few more on the ground floor that were relatively new. The landscape is fairly maintained, the view in the night is lovely. The breakfast spread is decent, mix of local and western options. We ate the food in the resort hotel on the first day and food was decent. They try to make food to your specification if you ask. Staff is courteous and always smiling. Special mention to Aldrin at the front desk who went the extra mile to help us find a rental car when we couldnt get one - if not for him, our travel would have been pretty challenging as the property is a good 13 km away from Udupi - pretty remote and you cant get out easily from there without a vehicle. Although a few guests who stayed mentioned that the resort staff would help them with a rickshaw. The room lacked some basic amenities for the price offered like complementary toiletries, a hair dryer, a safety locker, etc. The pool is lovely and you cant get enough of the view from the pool. The kids loved the play area and the books stocked up there. There are a good number of fantastic sightseeing spots - Hoode beach which is just a lil over 1 km. Delta point/Bengre beach where river Suvarna meets the Arabian sea is an absolutely fantastic spot to view sunrise/sunset or just soak yourself in the beach. Kemmannu Hanging bridge and the water activities around that place is another great attraction for both kids and adults. We also went to see the Kaup beach and lighthouse in the evening when they allow you to go up the lighthouse. The best part was taking the route ***** the beach where you can drive through quite villages with backwaters to the left and the beach right next to you - BLISS! Overall a good stay with some minor upgrades needed to make this one of the sought after properties in this area.

PPengguna TetamuThe rooms were pristine clean, clean bed linen and towels. Plenty of hot water. Tea/ coffee kettle in room. Excellent service both at reception and restaurant . Staff Benedict/ Aroop went the extra mile with their service and so did the young restaurant Manager. The location is also superb. Only issue was that due to heavy rains the street was flooded and so was their basement car park. Also wish mid range hotels in India had shower cubicles. The whole bathroom is wet after a shower!

PPengguna TetamuI'm a frequent visitor at Kollur Mookambika temple, it's one of the most peaceful places. I have stayed in few other properties in Kollur but must say, this place is one of the best maintained property in Kollur. Very clean and good hygiene maintained. Service by the staff is really appreciated even though they had minimum staff during the pandemic. We stayed for 2 days and the hotel arranged for our trekking trip to kodachadri and few temples around. Breakfast was arranged for us on request. Will surely visit again.

PPengguna TetamuThis was by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed in my life with regard to the overall ***agement of the Hotel. This hotel is placed very well in the heart of the city and has decent rooms. The problem starts when you book the hotel rooms from online aggregators like MMT or Cleartrip. The check in time as mentioned is 1 PM and it is a very inconvenient time for most of us. I requested the hotel to let me in by 12.30 and they said no and asked for Rs.600 for allowing me for checking in half an hour early. I visited near by places and later checked in at 3.30 PM. The bed and linen is very dirty. The pillow is very thin, I asked for an extra pillow and they told me to cough up Rs.30 towards extra pillow. We were 3 of us and 1 water bottle of 1 ltr was provided. We ordered room service and went to sleep by 10PM. At 11.30 PM someone rang the bell and when I answered, the waiter was standing asking if I want anything else to eat. I told I had enough and was sleeping. He told me to clear the bills immediately and made me clear the room service bill at the middle of the night. I told them we are a family and won’t run away without paying you. This is one of the worst experiences of my life where the ***agement of the hotel has so much of trust deficit. If you are staying here, remember to carry your own toiletries and towels. The towels are very old and stink. Overall worst experience. Stay at your risk.
