Ulasan Zolo Hotel

Zolo Hotel was highly disappointing and definitely not worth the price. The location is decent, featuring several nearby supermarkets and a 30-minute walk to Sukhbaatar Square. However, the hotel and rooms are very old and dated. While the room is spacious and the bed and pillows are comfortable, the towels were probably the only new-looking items inside. Daily housekeeping is basic, only replacing towels and making the bed without any cleaning or replenishing of bottled water. Breakfast is very very basic. The service is exceptionally bad, with zero smiles or greetings. There is a short flight of stairs from street level; do not expect help, as front desk representatives literally watched me struggle with my luggage. When asking questions, one of them even responded while playing games, eyes glued on the Nintendo.

The bathroom ventilation was broken, making it very stuffy. The hotel is located in a sketchy area, and I was disturbed by drunkards yelling outside at night. The room was quite large. It's a Soviet-style hotel. The mini-fridge was packed with drinks and alcohol for purchase, making it unusable. Those who need a fridge should choose carefully.

The hotel's front desk staff spoke excellent English and were very friendly, even helping me check in early. The breakfast was delicious, with two sausages, two slices of bread, some fruit and vegetables, and hot tea. The bedding was very comfortable, which greatly improved my sleep quality. The hotel is 1.2km from the train station, about an 18-minute walk for me. There's also a mall nearby with a supermarket, making everything very convenient. Behind the hotel, there's a school, and I even saw kids having a sports day, which was quite interesting.

The hotel is close railway station and in 20 min on foot from central square. No view, rail road in front of front side. Good choice of beverage in fridge.

I stayed for 3 nights. The room was clean and the bathroom was also clean when I arrived. The bed was comfortable and there was a small minibar in the fridge, which was convenient. However, during my entire stay, no one came to clean the room, and the towels were never replaced, which was disappointing. Breakfast was very basic — only eggs, sausages, bread, and tea, with no other options. The location is also not very good and not convenient for walking around. Overall, the room itself was fine, but the service and location need improvement.

The service was great, the room clean and spacious. I needed the location close to the central railway station and this one was a good choice. The breakfast was just ok. Nice hotel and I can recommend it.

Zolo Hotel was like an oasis after spending 5 nights in the Gobi Desert. The bed is immaculate, the room is spotless. The hot shower was perfect. The room smelled clean and fresh-- I do not understabd why some people claim that it smells like cigarettes

Last minute booking, but it was okay. They helped me get around the city.

Amazing value for money and a good location. Short walk to the center and the mayor business and office buildings in Ulan Bataar. And believe me, walking is the by far fastest and convenient way to get around in UB. The staff was really friendly, good English speaking and so helpful, as Mongolian people are in general.
