There was no wifi my entire trip. There is no excuse for this whatsoever! Way cheaper hotels can deliver on that promise in the slightest. As a remote worker, my business was jeopardized for the duration of my stay. Would definitely not recommend this unreliable hotel, especially if you're a remote worker. Staff service is not great either, they didn't attempt to fix the wifi or care that the entire hotel didn't have an internet connection.

We had such an amazing stay. The staff is super helpful and attentive. The location is a plus. Close to a mall for other food options and shopping. I’m definitely staying here again next time I’m in Durban.

Great reception and fantastic service.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were helpful and friendly. I didn't particularly like the restaurant/ room service menu as it ONLY had milkshakes on their drinks menu. You have to inquire about other drinks like wine, juices, coffee etc. It would be nicer if all the drinks prices were listed. The kettle in my room was dirty but housekeeping and the front desk were apologetic and replaced it with a clean kettle quickly. Every cafe or restaurant around the hotel opens at 9a.m, so I recommend paying for the hotel breakfast buffet if you're an early bird like me. I learnt about loadshedding after coming back from a day out and finding no power except a light and the tv in my room. For foreign guests who don't know about it, it might be a nice touch if the hotel could place the loadshedding schedule in guest rooms so it doesn't come as an unwelcome surprise. The bed was comfy and the wifi was usually fast. Overall, I had a good stay at the hotel.

Conveniently situated, and easily accessible, opposite entrance to Gateway Shopping mall. Safe parking for guests. Spoilt for choice with eating establishments across the road. Clean and safe. Rooms are comfortable, with small fridge and kettle. Friendly and helpful staff.

Great hotel. I enjoyed the breakfast and the room was clean.

The hotel staff is very enthusiastic and has a good attitude. The location is very good, opposite the shopping center. The disadvantage is that the hardware facilities are still relatively poor. The hair dryer caught fire, and a dirty and greasy hair dryer was sent to me later.

The room is very OK, the breakfast is OK, and the getway is next to it, very convenient and safe!
