Grande Hotel internazionale con camere moderne ed due ampi letti. Le camere sono piuttosto piccole, ma funzionali. Ottimo il parcheggio interno visto che nelle vicinanze non c'è parcheggio. Per quanto riguarda la reception abbiamo avuto diversi problemi dovendo spiegare ad ogni cambio turno del personale le nostre problematiche. Di fatto avevamo chiesto la sveglia alle 4,00 di mattina, la colazione da portare via e la navetta per le ore 4,45. Nessuna delle tre richiesta è stata esaudita con il rischio di perdere l'aereo. Ci siamo molto arrabbiati!

Clean space with perfect beach design to each room. Have stayed several times and each time with a superior experience. Rooms with views, 300 meters to the ocean and famed lighthouse, restaurants galore out the door, coffee shops and woolies down the street. The best part is that the staff go above and beyond and exhibit incredible service.

We had an Amazing experience at the Holiday Inn Express, Umhlanga. This has to be one of the best service I've experienced (local and international included). Wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend this Establishment. Check in was awesome. Brendan and team were extremely Welcoming, Friendly and Efficient. We were settled into the room in no time as well as informed of all the amenities. We traveled as a group and the team helped us to get rooms close to each other which was so convenient. Breakfast was scrumptious and the service exceeded our expectations. Trisha and the team take their work and service to customers so seriously - like it's their own company. My son wanted Chocolate muffins and they baked it specially for him - how amazing is that! We were leaving early to the airport and Trisha offered to have breakfast ready from 5am - was so impressed and grateful. This has to be one of the best hotels across the world. Kudos to the team and leadership. Highly recommend anyone to not hesitate to book here. Thanks so much guys

The rooms were very spacious, but the OPEN bath is not conducive if you share a room with a colleague OR use the loo. A pull away curtain (netting) might do the trick? But all in all, a very nice experience. I've always wanted to stay there and now that I have, I would love to go back again. Breakfast is very nice with a lot to choose from. Even though it is on a busy road, you don't feel it or hear it. With direct access to the Gateway Mall, this could be my go-to-hotel. Just don't stay in the ”standard rooms” - NO fridges. There could be a lot of students at the hotel, check before you go as they do get loud at night.
