There was great staying in Unawatuna. Totally clearness and great location is the good for your holiday. We’ll look forward to staying here again

Wonderful place with a lush garden in Unawatuna area in the main tourist road. They let us for an early checkin so we didn’t have to wait in the lobby area. Room was spacious with modern furniture and included a minibar. Air conditioner worked perfectly. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was spacious. Hot water worked perfectly. Modern fixtures too. Green villa was close to all the main attractions. Highly recommended for a calm, quiet, comfortable stay in Unawatuna area.

We stayed for four days, first on the first floor, then three more on the third. The third floor includes a balcony, so it's more expensive. What I didn't like about the first floor was the constant presence of people walking around and the only decent window, which also doubles as the door, was impossible to open. It was always curtained, making it feel like a bunker! There are fewer mosquitoes on the first floor than on the third. We didn't include breakfast because we'd seen photos of the $5 options and decided to go to a cafe ourselves. There are plenty of them on that street in Unawatuna, but finding a tasty and filling breakfast is a real challenge; we only managed to get one on the fourth day. The room was clean, the air conditioning was good, and there was no musty smell. As is the case everywhere in Asia, the plumbing was rusty. But that wasn't the main drawback. What I disliked most was the hosts' attitude toward their guests. We were the only ones, and they took us without even asking if we needed anything, and then drove far into the island. The guy cleaning and looking after the place doesn't really understand English, and we needed to extend our stay. They spent two days chasing them. The hosts don't say hello and are unfriendly. Regarding the moroseness: travelers, keep in mind that Sri Lankan people stopped being friendly and hospitable long ago. It's common for them to rip off tourists (and that's not just talk), rip them off, pester them with offers of their services, and even a tuk-tuk will make you shudder after just two days. The island is beautiful and nice, a truly wonderful place! But the people. They're awful!

We spent one night, so the first hotel we booked was not working. We arrived, and the hotel was closed, in short, we had to look for a new one. And we chose Green villa, we were checked in at 21:00, the room had air conditioning, a large bed and a spacious bathroom. We were satisfied! The territory of the villa is also cozy.

The hotel itself is excellent, the rooms are spacious, our view of the rock was simply gorgeous in real life, a huge balcony, beach towels were provided upon request. The location is gorgeous, two steps from the beach street and 5 minutes from the beach. Breakfasts are delicious. We were there for two days. We wanted to stay but there were no available rooms. We saw a medium-sized monitor lizard, chipmunks.

Convenient location, close to the beach and a street with restaurants, shops. We did not like the thin pillows, they brought other ones, thicker, but also latex, without any problems. The staff is very responsive. We recommend the hotel.

We decided to stay for one more night. They left us the same room.

Great location, beautiful garden. The room is clean and comfortable. The staff is polite. I recommend! You will not regret!

Nice room, friendly boss

Отель замечательный, располагается в тихом переулке, рядом с центральной тусовочной туристической улицей. Номера большие с балконом, у нас был на третьем этаже ,вид на сад, чудесно, приходили обезьяны, бегали бурундуки , вараны- возле небольшой речки. Все очень понравилось, вернулись бы снова.

Проживали 4 ночи, остались очень довольны. Хорошая красивая территория. Кондиционер, вентилятор работал. Розетки подходят для российских вилок. Не были пополнены дозатор шампуня/геля животных на террритории не видели Отель находиться в начале улицы, до пляжа 7-10 минут

Уютный отель , хозяева очень добрые заселили раньше времени заезда. Все чисто , на затравки яичница , сосиски , тосты и фрукты
