The hotel is in the perfect location for hiking the Gorropu George as the entrance to the hike is just down the driveway and across the road. The hotel is in an elevated location off the main road which attracts a lot of motorcyclists but we couldn’t hear any traffic noise and felt right in nature with the trees and bird’s singing. We booked a Superior room with small balcony which had a great view over the countryside. The room was basic but clean and the shower had plenty of hot water. The hotel has a restaurant and the food was above average given the remote location. The breakfast offered plenty of choices and the scrambled eggs were excellent. We were able to leave our car in the parking area after checking out which enabled us to do the hike without having to find a parking space. There is some parking at the entrance to the hike but this was very busy after 9am. If you want to hike the gorge we would recommend staying here. The hotel provides everything you need and is great value for money.

Very relaxing place, surrounded by the beautiful nature of Urzulei. Rooms are large, well heated, with comfy beds. Located right opposite to the Genna Silana pass, this is a great location if you are planning to start early the descent to the stunning Gorropu Canyon. Simona and the rest of the staff were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was great and we had great dinner trying many of the Barbaricina" specialties.

Great location, excellent food, comfortable room, really kind staff! The best place to visit the wonderful Gorropu canyon and you'll enjoy also the beauty of nature all around you. We stayed more than we planned due also to the peaceful mountain place.

Personale gentile e sempre disponibile per ogni esigenza, menù con prodotti locali saporito, panorama mozzafiato, camere accoglienti e confortevoli, ampio parcheggio, adatto a tutti grandi e piccoli. Grazie per il vostro eccellente lavoro!

Ci siamo trovati bene ogni volta che abbiamo deciso di rivolgerci a voi per l'organizzazione di varie cerimonie. Cibo ottimo, belle presentazioni dei piatti e soprattutto prodotti di qualità. L'hotel è curato e lo staff sempre accogliente e sorridente. L'hotel Gorroppu è una delle diverse strutture ricettive presenti nella località di Urzulei e la sua priorità è la soddisfazione dell'ospite. Molto attenti anche alle esigenze dei più piccoli con menu riservati e grandi spazi sia interni che esterni. Grazie per il vostro lavoro!

Capodanno con famiglia e amici, per riscoprire che gli anni passano ma la qualità continua a crescere nella scelta dei piatti tutti a km zero ma dal gusto a 1000/ora. Cari miei, in poche parole, con Giacomina, Simona, Martina e Giampiero non ce n'è per nessuno

Tutto perfetto dal sito al cibo al personale. Posto stupendo sia per trekking che per relax. Personale gentilissimo e simpatico compresa la cuoca. Cibo più che buono. Adatto anche per escursioni al mare. Consigliatissimo.

Accueil correct, peu d’effort pour nous expliquer avec un minimum de français Parking, en montagne au calme Extérieur agréable Chambre au décor très sobre mais literie correcte Il faut vraiment se pencher à la fenêtre pour avoir vue montagne, ce serait plus vue sur le toit Pas de climatisation mais malgré tout cela a été tout de même Une salle de bain très simple avec produits Ascenseur Pour le petit déjeuner, les croissants étaient un peu mis au compte goutte, peu de choix Je dirais que le prix de 151 euros pour 2 adultes et 1 ado est un peu élevé Nous avons pris notre repas au restaurant de l’hôtel, la qualité était correcte mais j’ai pris un menu et les deux autres personnes que le plat, résultat j’ai eu mon entrée en même temps que leur plat de ce fait je me suis retrouvé à manger mon plat seule après…

Hotel molto curato e personale simpatico, gentilissimo e molto disponibile. Cena squisita con un maialetto fantastico e dei culurgiones di pregio. Le camere sono ampie, e dai soffitti alti, con un mobilio povero e semplice che donano un' aria fresca e leggera alla stanza. Un'esperienza davvero rilassante e priva di pensieri.
